"I am... Great General Darkness!"
―Great General Darkness introduces himself[src]

Great General Darkness (暗黒大将軍, Ankoku Dai Shōgun) is a member of the Delzer Army who appears in the TV special All Together! Seven Kamen Riders!!.

In the manga Shin Kamen Rider SPIRITS, Cyborg Majin Jet Condor (改造魔人 ジェットコンドル, Kaizō Majin Jetto Kondoru) is revealed to be an incarnation of Great General Darkness.

History[]

During a sudden attack on a live Kamen Rider Stage Show by revived Black Satan and Delzer Army monsters, Great General Darkness emerges from a secret hideout located under the stage. He reveals himself as the mastermind behind the attack, intending to use the real monsters to abduct the children in the audience and hold them ransom to conquer Japan. After the revived monsters are destroyed by the Seven Kamen Riders, he is finally defeated after receiving an attack from their united power. [All Together! Seven Kamen Riders!!]

Shin Kamen Rider SPIRITS[]

"Your speed is like a walk compared to BADAN's dragon."
ZX to Jet Condor.[src]

It is said that in the first battle, he was traded off with the United States Air Force. Appears as the last member of Delzer Army immediately after Marshal Machine joins General Shadow in order to collect ZX, the vessel for the resurrection of Great Leader JUDO, and to impose sanctions on Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu, who betrayed JUDO. Heading from the Pacific Ocean to Yumenoshima in Tokyo Bay to collect ZX. After ZX's remark hurt his pride and he became furious, he attempts to destroy Mikage, Shizuka, and ZX with the speed of self-destruction (Mach 3.2), but he was shot down by the cooperation of the Riders and Mikage's laser cannon. After that, just as the warriors of Delzer in the previous battle bore the title of authority created by humans to promote spiritual domination, he himself followed suit and called himself the "Great General" of "Darkness" at the point of his fall.

After transforming into Great General Darkness, he generates the same wavelength as the Great Leader JUDO from the staff he owns, manipulates humans suffering from BADAN Syndrome, and begins secret maneuvers in the underground of Tokyo. He is unable to hide his turmoil due to the damage to his only and greatest weapon, the wing, which is the cornerstone of supersonic flight, and the wing is so damaged that he cannot chase the carrier pigeon released by Shigeru Tama (the jet engine is still alive). In order to take revenge on BADAN and Kamen Riders, he accelerated the subway tracks and tried to slaughter the 15,000 people who were guided there. The Riders and SPIRITS rescue the people gathered at each station based on information from the former Kamen Rider Kid Corps, which was contacted by Junko and others, and it ends in failure. At the end, his spirit and body were destroyed by V3, who was in sync with the leader, JUDO, and he died just before V3 tried to stab him. The bisected upper body continued to rise and scattered into pieces in the dark space it reached.

Jet Condor[]

Descendants of roc, Jet Condor boasts supersonic flight of Mach 2 with a total of eight jet engines on his wings and chest, and as his name suggests, he flies like a condor. Using the supersonic speed that occurs during flight as a weapon, he has absolute confidence in the acceleration and impact he creates, to the extent that it boasts the "Delzer of the Speed of Sound" (音速のデルザー, Onsoku no Deruzā).

Behind the scenes[]

Portrayal[]

Trivia[]

  • Jet Condor is a monster who did not appear in Kamen Rider Stronger. He was planned to appear in the original series, but due to the shortening of the broadcast period, it ended up with only a rough setting. In the sketches of his design, he possessed a small missile, but in Kamen Rider Spirits, it is replaced with a jet engine instead of a missile.
  • His name during pre-production was Great General Black Devil (黒魔大将軍, Kokuma Dai Shōgun).[1]
  • In the book "Kamen Rider Dai Zenshu", he was guessed as the only Earthling leader at the point of TV series.[2]
