Granute Yard (グラニュート・ヤード, Guranyūto Yādo)[1] is a part-timer working for Stomach Inc..
History[]
Granute Yard was selected by Siita Stomach and Jiip Stomach to assist in their quota of collecting five cases of Human Press in ten days. Yard already established an operation of collecting Human Presses by posing as a bakery chef handing out madeleines to customers, most notably kids from a dancing class. On Halloween, Yard was offering free madeleines until he was tackled by Hanto Karakida, who was running after Kirari Takase for information about the monster abducting kids at the Minehara Tunnel. Yard offered a madeleine to Hanto, who declined.
The next day, Yard, in his Granute form, attempted to turn a boy into a Human Press until Hanto, believing Karakida's dance instructor was a Granute but was suffering from a stomach bug, saved the boy and transformed into Kamen Rider Valen. Both rider and Granute exchanged blows until Yard used his shell to deflect Valen's energy shots back at the rider, allowing him to escape but left a clue behind for Valen: the wrapping of the madeleine from Yard's bakery. Realizing his operation's compromised, Yard moved his bakery to a new location before targeting Karakida at a park, converting her into a Human Press. [Trick or Dance!]
After setting his operation in Umezawa City, Yard continued his task of converting targets into Human Presses, setting his sight on a preschool with children inside. As he prepared to transport the cache Jiip and Siita requested after moving the school into an open field, Yard was discovered by Hanto, who was searching for the Granute with Shoma. Yard became enraged and transformed to fight, explaining to Hanto that happy kids contains high-quality in spices, infuriating Hanto as he transformed into Kamen Rider Valen. They both engaged and fight, leading to the outside of the building as Kamen Rider Gavv arrived to assist Valen.
Being forced into a corner by Valen and Gavv Gurucan, Yard resorted into transforming into his giant crab form, destroying the school and prepared to leave until Valen used Gavv's Vrocangatling to fire at Yard's shell, damaging it and revealing Yard's collection of Human Presses. Valen used his Chocodon finisher to cover the ground under Yard's crustacean leg to slide and gather the Human Presses while Gavv, utilizing his Rock Bakucannon and Vrocangatling at Yard, damaging his body. After Valen collected all of the humans, Gavv proceeded to annihilate Yard with his Bakucan Blast/Vrocangatling finisher combo. [Extra Large! Candy Cannon!]
