Granute Smeeal (グラニュート・スミール, Guranyūto Sumīru)[1] is a part-timer working for Stomach Inc. who targets Hanto Karakida in order to avenge his fallen friend Granute Otake.
History[]
Smeeal set up an operation as a restaurant owner and chef to target humans while searching for the Kamen Rider that slew Granute Otake. One night, he was serving Kataro Kentani and Hanto Karakida until he heard Kataro asking Hanto if he's still hunting monsters, shocking him. Realizing Hanto is the rider who killed Otake, Smeeal hid Kataro's phone and returned it later with an offer to make money for information. Kataro accepted and they planned to have Hanto meet Kataro at Port Akashi. [Broken Sweets]
As Hanto met up with Kataro, Smeeal hid inside a ship and surprised attacked Hanto with his ink, preventing him from moving. As Kataro revealed his betrayal and attempted to leave, Smeeal betrayed him and turned him into a Human Press before reverting into his Granute form and informed to Hanto that Otake was his friend. Smeeal then squirted ink on Hanto's Valenbuster to prevent him from transforming and proceeded to beat him up the entire night.
By morning, Smeeal prepared to finish Hanto until one of the Chocold Gochizos Hanto received from Kenzo Suga broke free from the ink and inserted itself into the Valenbuster, releasing it from the ink and allowed Hanto to transform into Kamen Rider Valen Chocold Form. Shocked, Smeeal couldn't prepare himself as Valen shot off his left tentacle, leading to the newly strong Kamen Rider to beat the Granute effortlessly and slamming him into a wall. Smeeal attempted to plea for mercy, by Valen executed his Rider Shooting finisher, obliterating Smeeal's body save for his left tentacle, which Valen crushed in his hand. - Tentacle Arms: Smeeal's primary weapons are his tentacle arms, which can be used as whips or to restrain the enemy.
- Abilities
- Human Disguise: Due to being modified by Stomach, Smeeal can adopt a human form by inserting a Mimic Key into his gavv. He is able to return to his original form by removing the Mimic Key.
- Human Press Transformation: As a part-timer, Smeeal has been modified to be able to turn humans into Human Press by grabbing them with his gavv's tongue. This can be accomplished in either his original form or human disguise.
- Immobilizing Ink: Smeeal can spew black ink from his mouth that makes whatever it covers difficult to move, whether a living being or machinery. He also created a trap by putting the ink into several pots that would fire it when the target came close.

- Granute Smeeal's human disguise is portrayed by Machiura Pink (街裏 ぴんく, Machiura Pinku). As a Granute, his suit actor is Naoya Iguchi (井口 尚哉, Iguchi Naoya).
Etymology[]
- Smeeal's name is derived from the Japanese word sumi (墨, sumi), meaning "ink".
Notes[]
- Smeeal's torso is retooled from Granute Bon while his tentacle arms are repainted from Granute Whiple.
- Like the other part-timers, Smeeal has fly elements hidden in his design. In his case, there is a small fly located on the skull's nose of his right side.
