Granute Rojoe (グラニュート・ロジョー, Guranyūto Rojō)[1] is a part-timer working for Stomach Inc..
History[]
Rojoe has been a Stomach Inc. part-timer for twenty years, before the application of Mimic Keys and Human Presses, and bemoaned the new approach as a hassle compared to simply kidnapping people. Rojoe disguised himself as a 29-year-old[2] street musician named Kani (可児 ) and lured in crowds to turn them into Human Presses. After converting Riku Nishino into a Human Press, Rojoe lamented on the new system of catching humans for making Dark Snacks and then brushed it off as he prefers quantity over quality. Hours later, he was approached by Hanto Karakida, who caught wind of the Granute, and transformed into Kamen Rider Valen after Rojoe failed to turn him into a Human Press.
Rojoe reverts to his Granute form as Valen struck first and demanded the humans Rojoe collected, but the Granute declines as Shoma arrived and transformed into Gavv but was lured away by one of Jiip Stomach's Agents, which caught Valen's attention. Rojoe then took the advantage and tackled Valen into the pond, then proceeded to trade blows until the Granute began splashing water on the rider, infuriating him before he shot his Valenbuster at Rojoe. The Granute's shell deflected the shot, but Valen used the slow momentum underwater to kick the shot back, causing it to deflect from Rojoe's shell and knock his case of Human Presses to the ground. After the rider secured the humans, Rojoe cursed him and stated the Granutes' old ways of acquiring humans were easier through abduction, which caught Valen's attention and made him question how long Rojoe was in the human world. After revealing he has been collecting humans for two decades, Rojoe left after refusing to answer Valen's next question of the Granute who took his mother. [Promised Homemade Cake]
The next day, Rojoe was on a roof practicing until Hanto, who was lead there by one of Shoma's Gochizo, pinned him down and demanded answers, which Rojoe stated that he's an underling and revealed he works for Stomach Inc. before he shoved Hanto off and ran away. [Miraculous Awakening! Caking] As Christmas approached, Rojoe couldn't meet his quota of Human Presses and only delivered one to an Agent, who refused to give the Granute a Dark Snack. Rojoe walked along an alley lamenting the new system of collecting humans until he spotted Shoma and Hanto, and started to devise a plan. A short time later, Rojoe was playing to humans as he waited for Shoma and Hanto to spot him, which he enacted his plan and ran away in fear. Both riders pursued and chose to split up, allowing Rojoe to follow Shoma into a tunnel and gave himself away. Shoma transformed and prepared to fight until Rojoe pleaded for mercy and expressed his desire to leave Stomach Inc., shocking Gavv.
Rojoe told his backstory to Shoma at sunset and pleaded for his help to leave Stomach Inc. while vowing never to hurt humans ever again, until he was shot by Hanto's Valenbuster, reverting Rojoe to his Granute form and fled as Shoma stopped Hanto from transforming. As night fell, Rojoe found Jiip in an abandoned building and decided to add him to his plan. The next day, Rojoe enacted his plan by having two of Jiip's Agents attack him as Shoma arrived after being alerted by one of his Gochizos. Shoma accepted Rojoe's pleas and transformed to save the Granute. Gavv used himself as a shield against the Agents until Rojoe dropped the act and attack Gavv, mocking the rider for buying his act until he transformed into Gavv Caking in rage, which shocked the Granute that he didn't know about Gavv's power-up. Rojoe became overpowered by Gavv Caking and two of his Whipped Soldiers, one wielding the Zakuzakuchipslashers and the second Chocodangun, forcing the Granute to retreat.
Rojoe was intercepted by Valen, but was prepared by two more of Jiip's Agents. With the Agents, Rojoe was able to stop Valen from using the Bushel Gochizo and used a charged attack that overpowered and canceled Valen's transformation. Rojoe reveled in his victory and planned to hand Hanto over to Stomach Inc. for a large supply of Dark Snacks. [Escaped Granute!] Rojoe then spotted a weakened Gavv and used his bubbles to teleport himself, the Agents and an unconscious Hanto to a new location. The next day, Rojoe presented Hanto to Jiip, who was disinterested as he only wanted Gavv and left, infuriating Rojoe. Turning into his human form, Rojoe decided to contact Stomach Inc. to see if Lango would be interested in Hanto, who was conscious and decided to play captive to infiltrate Stomach Inc.
Rojoe spent some time guitar practicing as one of Lango's Agents appeared to tell the Granute Lango declined the offer, infuriating Rojoe as he unknowingly revealed the Stomach Inc.'s means of dimensional travel through doors to Hanto. Hanto attempted to plead for his life by offering information on Gavv as a ploy to enter the Granute world, but the Agent declined. Rojoe took out his anger on Hanto by knocking him out, which allowed the Bushel Gochizo to slip out of the Granute's jacket to find Shoma.
Rojoe heard the building's chained gate rattle and went to investigate, only to find Shoma, lead there by the Bushel Gochizo, and reverted to his true form. Shoma attempted to transform but Rojoe warned him not to with Hanto in peril, so Shoma let Rojoe beat him up and bound him. Rojoe then wheeled Shoma next to Hanto and ecstatically planned to call Jiip to present both riders to him. Rojoe then returned to see both Shoma and Hanto free, realizing he was deceived and attempt to stop them, but Shoma tackled him as Hanto retrieved his Valenbuster. All three participants transformed and engaged in combat, but Rojoe had the upper hand with his shell being durable to bounce off Valen's shots and Gavv's blade strikes. Rojoe attempted to use his charged attack, but Gavv used his Gochispeeder to cut hanging plastic and blind Rojoe, allowing both riders to transform into Gavv Caking and Valen Bushel.
Rojoe attempted his charged attack again, only to have his shell shattered by the combined strikes from Valen's Xmax and Gavv's Gavvwhipir. Being overwhelmed by the riders' attacks, Rojoe attempted to flee, but failed as Gavv summoned two Whipped Soldiers armed with the Zakuzakuchipslashers and Chocodangun, pushing him back to the riders. Rojoe made a final attempt to beat both riders but failed and was slain by the combo finishers of Gavv's Caking Breaking rider shoot and Valen's Bushel rider slash. [The Gift of Noël]
