Granute Otake (グラニュート・オタケ, Guranyūto Otake)[1] was a part-timer working for Stomach Inc..
History[]
In a secluded building, Granute Otake presented his Human Press collection to one of Jiip Stomach's Agents, but was displeased in receiving one Dark Snack. Otake transformed into his human form and examined the snack before he refrained himself from eating it, stating to save it for a special occasion. As he prepared to leave, one of Nyelv Stomach's Agents approached him with an offer for more Dark Snacks in exchange for an assignment, which Otake graciously accepted.
At night, Otake approached his target Soji Shioya, reverting to his Granute form in from of Soji and prepared to turn him into a Human Press.[The Memories Are Painful] After killing Soji by breaking him in half under Nyelv's orders, Otake presented Soji's lower half with Nyelv, left the other half with Soji's belongings, and resumed his task of gathering humans two days later. He targeted a happy woman during his magic performance and was preparing to turn her into a Human Press until Shoma, being informed of the Granute by a Poppingummy Gochizo, intervened and saved the woman. Enraged, Otake attempted to leave but was pursued by Shoma, forcing him to revert to his Granute form while Shoma transformed into Kamen Rider Gavv, revealing his identity as the one with the Red Gavv. Otake decided to kill Gavv and present his head to the Stomach family, engaging the rider who had the upper hand with his Gavvgablade. Gavv then attempted to finish Otake off with his Kickingummy Kick finisher, but was reflected by Otake's slime. He took the opportunity to unleash his explosive spores as a smokescreen to escape.
Retreating to a construction site, Otake was caught by Kenzo Suga and a weakened Hanto Karakida, who had just underwent an operation of implanting a Granute organ in his body, and demanded to know if Otake was the one to kill Soji. Otake sinisterly acknowledged it and watch in horror as Hanto transformed into Kamen Rider Valen. Otake and Valen exchanged blows with one another, leading to Valen gaining the upper hand even in his weakened state. After being lifted into the air by Valen's consecutive shots from his Valenbuster, Otake could only screamed in fear as he was hit by Valen's Chocodon finisher shot, slaying the Granute in a big explosion as he lamented in never hearing of another rider like Gavv. - Human Disguise: Due to being modified by Stomach, Otake can adopt a human form by inserting a Mimic Key into his gavv. He is able to return to his original form by removing the Mimic Key.
- Human Press Transformation: As a part-timer, Otake has been modified to be able to turn humans into Human Press by grabbing them with his gavv's tongue. This can be accomplished in either his original form or human disguise.
- Spinning Kick: While performing a headstand, Otake can unleash a spinning kick that creates a vortex of orange energy.
- Mucus: Otake secretes a slippery mucus that covers his entire body, causing blunt melee attacks to simply slide off of him.
- Explosive Spores: By repeatedly slapping the mushrooms on his body, Otake can release a large number of floating spores that explode after a brief delay. In addition to damaging the enemy, the explosion can also provide Otake with a smokescreen to escape.

Granute Otake's human disguise is portrayed by Junichiro Nishino (西野 純一郎, Nishino Junichirō), while his suit actor is Kai Kitamura (北村 海, Kitamura Kai).
Etymology[]
- Otake's name comes from the Japanese word for "mushroom" (茸, take)
Notes[]
- Like the other part-timers, Otake has fly elements hidden in his design. In his case, a fly's head and thorax is in the center of his chest.
- Granute Otake is the first part-timer Granute to appear in more than one episode.
