Granute Ochiru (グラニュート・オチル, Guranyūto Ochiru)[1] is a part-timer working for Stomach Inc..
History[]
Granute Ochiru established an operation in the human world by turning a winning basketball team into Human Presses. As he set his sight on a basketball game between the Jieis and Deck Worker teams, Ochiru noticed one of the replacement players looked familiar and he looked at his phone, realizing it was Rakia Amarga. Ochiru decided not to engage him for now and to focus on collecting Human Presses. After Jieis won, Ochiru targeted Jieis Sakurai and turned him into a Human Press to add to his collection of players. Ochiru then proceeded to leave the stadium until he bumped into Rakia, who was alerted of Sakurai's disappearance, and slipped up that he's a Granute. Rakia alerted to Shoma and Sachika Amane of Ochiru, who reverted to his Granute form and used his agility to escape into the woods nearby the stadium.
As he hid from Shoma and Rakia, Ochiru accidentally exposed himself and refused to surrender the basketball players, forcing the riders to transform and engage the Granute. Using the trees, Ochiru managed to hold his own until he was bested by a makeshift combo of Vram using a log to strike the tree Ochiru was on and the explosive popcorns launched on the tree by Gavv using his new Popburn Gochizo, crippling Ochiru. Though exhausted, Ochiru rose as Gavv prepared to finish him off until all three combatants noticed Lizel Jaldak approaching them. [Jiip's Surprise Wedding!] Ochiru managed to escape as Lizel unleashed a charged blast at the riders and resorted to target more basketball players by waiting in a public bath house the next day. Ochiru's plan was thwarted as the riders stumbled upon him as they retraced the victims' step, which led to the bath house Ochiru was in. He reverted to his Granute form and fled with Shoma and Hanto Karakida in pursuit at the cost of losing his Human Press collection.
Ochiru ran into a warehouse and was cornered by the riders before they transformed and engaged the Granute, who proceeded to throw barrels, cement blocks and boxes at Gavv and Valen. Ochiru managed to pin the riders on a ledge until their teamwork drove Ochiru into a corner, who refused to abandon the Dark Snacks and declared to kill Gavv and Valen. Both riders then transformed into Gavv Blizzardsorbet and Valen Frappeis Custom, overpowering Ochiru before felling him with a combo Ice Break/Frappeis Vortex rider kick. - Agility: Ochiru is extremely fast and agile, being able to leap over long distances and maneuver through trees like a monkey.
- Strength: Ochiru possessed enough strength to easily lift and throw objects that would take a couple of humans to carry.
- Human Disguise: Due to being modified by Stomach, Ochiru can adopt a human form by inserting a Mimic Key into his gavv. He is able to return to his original form by removing the Mimic Key.
- Human Press Transformation: As a part-timer, Ochiru has been modified to be able to turn humans into Human Press by grabbing them with his gavv's tongue. This can be accomplished in either his original form or human disguise.

- Granute Ochiru's human disguise is portrayed by Katsuhiro Higo (肥後 克広, Higo Katsuhiro). As a Granute, his suit actor is Danki Sakae (榮 男樹, Sakae Danki).
Etymology[]
- Ochiru's name comes from the Japanese proverb "Even monkeys fall from trees." (猿も木から落ちる, Saru mo ki kara ochiru).
Notes[]
- Like the other part-timers, Ochiru has fly elements hidden in his design. In his case, the general shape of Ochiru's monkey head is in the shape of an upside-down fly head.
