Granute Le Beet (グラニュート・ル・ビート, Guranyūto Ru Bīto) is a part-timer working for Stomach Inc..
History[]
Le Beet heard rumors from an acquaintance that Comel Amarga, another part-timer, who had chosen to turn his back on the company. Le Beet had lost his Mimic Key soon after arriving from the Granute World, so he stole Koji Minamoto's streaming channel and disguised himself as Koji's VTuber Kabuto Danshi (カブトダンシ). He used the channel to build an operation of luring in his victims with sweets and turning them into Human Presses. After adding a woman to his collection, Le Beet received info on Lage Nine distributed from Stomach Inc. by Agents.
He set up a meeting with Koji, mistaking him for a fan, but Koji knew Le Beet stole his channel and was using it to hurt people. Realizing his operation's compromised, Le Beet revealed his true self and attempted to turn Koji into a Human Press until Rakia arrived, who was warned by Shoma that Kabuto Danshi is a Granute, and saved Koji. After Koji left, Le Beet realized Rakia is Lage Nine and mentioned Comel, which shocked Rakia. Le Beet went further and insulted Comel for betraying Stomach Inc., infuriating Rakia as he transformed into Kamen Rider Vram Pudding Custom. [Virtual Happiness, The Taste of Nectar]
Le Beet attempted to match Vram in combat, but faltered against the rider as he prepared to finish off Le Beet with his Vram Breaker. Le Beet managed to distract Vram by stating the Stomachs used Comel as an example, allowing the Granute to escape. After meeting with one of Lango Stomach's Agents for assistance, the Granute enacted a plan the next by inviting ten fans to lure Rakia to him. He succeeded in turning the guests into Human Presses as Rakia arrived, but was prepared by having two of Lango's Agents backing him up.
Le Beet was overpowering Vram with the Agents until Kamen Rider Gavv Blizzardsorbet arrived with two Ice Whipped Soldiers, turning the tide against the Granute. With Gavv occupying the Agents, Vram forced Le Beet to a corner and asked if the Granute will abandon the Dark Snacks and Stomachs, which he refused. Vram accepted Le Beet's answer and transformed into his Jelly Custom, besting the Granute with his Invisible Jelly attacks. Seeing the Agents defeated by Gavv, Le Beet attempted to escape, but was halted by Vram, who sliced off Le Beet's horn before felling him with a Jelly Vram Slash, ending the Granute and retrieving both the Kabuto Danshi streaming channel and Le Beet's Human Press collection. - Granute Le Beet is voiced by Yuki Ono (小野 友樹, Ono Yūki),[2] who was previously Fralio in Ride Kamens.
- As a Granute, his suit actor is Shogo Teramoto (寺本 翔悟, Teramoto Shōgo), who was also the suit-actor for Granute Early in the same series and later on GozyuEagle in Gavv's sister show in the Super Hero Time block, No .1 Sentai Gozyuger.
Etymology[]
- Le Beet is an anagram of "beetle" (ビートル, Bītoru).
- Kabuto Danshi (カブトダンシ) is a pun on "Japanese rhinoceros beetle" (カブトムシ, Kabutomushi) and "guy" (男子, Danshi).
Notes[]
- Like the other part-timers, Le Beet has fly elements hidden in his design. In his case, the tip of the horn on his head is derived from a fly's mouth parts.
