Goro Numata (沼田 五郎, Numata Gorō) or Kikkaijin Spark (奇械人スパーク, Kikkaijin Supāku) is a disused Kikkaijin after an unsuccessful operation. He was Shigeru Jo's best friend and the basic prototype of Kamen Rider Stronger.
In the manga Kamen Rider Spirits, he was resurrected by the Badan Empire, but later Shigeru killed him and harried Spark's components. These components helped Shigeru to transform into Stronger again.

Spark's name is from Kamen Rider Spark, the original concept name for Kamen Rider Stronger during the 1975 TV show's pre-production. This concept can be seen in the Kamen Rider Art Collection Hero Hen book.
Shigeru mentioned Goro Numata was killed by Black Satan due to a failed cyborg remodeling in second episode of Stronger, but was not elaborated on any further in the series aside from his name. This led Spirits, while non-canon, to expand on him, creating a character of the same name.
