This article is about a Gurongi in Kamen Rider Kuuga. |
Go·Jalaji·Da (ゴ・ジャラジ・ダ, Go Jaraji Da)[1], otherwise known as Unidentified Lifeform #42 (未確認生命体第42号, Mikakunin Seimeitai Dai-Yonjūni-gō) by the police, is a porcupine-themed Gurongi from the Go Group who assumes the form of a sadistic young man dressed in black. He is armed with sharp white quills that can be thrown like darts; he can also move at incredibly high speeds when he snaps his fingers. He supported Gamego in his game before his death.
History[]
Kamen Rider Kuuga[]
When his turn came, Jalaji gave himself 12 days to kill 90 male students of the second year of Midorikawa High School. He attacked his targets by shooting quills into them; these quills would then teleport to their brain and transform into a metallic barb, leaving the victim to die from encephalitis four days later. Both the quill and the barb were undetectable by any method and impossible to remove safely. During his pursuit of Kazuya Ikuta, Jalaji encountered the police, killing some of them before being interrupted by Kamen Rider Kuuga. Taking offense to the interference, Jalaji incapacitated Kuuga with his quills, warning the Rider to stay out of his game before taking his leave.
As more of the students suffered the effects of Jalaji's quills, some began committing suicide before the encephalitis could kill them; these deaths did not count towards Jalaji's total under the rules of the game, forcing him to find replacements before the 12th day ends. He eventually returned to kill Kazuya as his final target, only for Yusuke to burst into the room and transform into Kuuga's Mighty Form.
Infuriated by Jalaji's cruelty, Kuuga tackled the Gurongi through a window and to the parking lot below, where he began relentlessly beating Jalaji. Unable to utilize his speed due to shock and the damage already inflicted, Jalaji could only muster token resistance as Kuuga beat him bloody before ramming him with the BeatGouram and driving out of the city. Jalaji attempted to strike Kuuga with his quills, but Kuuga blocked them by assuming his Titan Form before throwing Jalaji into a lake when he brought the BeatGouram to a halt.
As Kuuga dismounted his bike and transformed its detachable grip into the Titan Sword, Jalaji began to succumb to panic. He threw some more quills at Kuuga to no effect, but quickly resorted to feebly backing away as the enraged Rider assumed his Rising Titan Form. With the images of Jalaji's victims and their grieving families playing in his mind, Kuuga savagely mauls Jalaji with the Rising Titan Sword; when the severely wounded Gurongi fell down into the water, Kuuga impales Jalaji with a rage-fueled Rising Titan Calamity, killing him.

Notes[]
- Go·Jalaji·Da is frequently considered one of the most evil and sadistic villains in Kamen Rider Kuuga (along with Go·Jaaza·Gi and N·Daguva·Zeba), due to his torturous killing methods and sadistic enjoyment of his game beyond its purpose of increasing his standing and rank among the Gurongi. This contributes to his status as the first Gurongi to make Yusuke Godai lose control of his temper and kill him in a blind rage.
