History[]
Background[]
- Main article: Dark Kings
In the early days of alchemy, three alchemists who were originally human, abandoned their humanity using the power of Philosopher's Stone and became an entity known as Dark King. Three of them were Germain, who specialised in alchemy, Gaelijah, who specialised in astrology, and Gigist, who created the first Chemies known as Gaiard and Dragonalos and specialised in theurgy. Later on, Dark King created and enslaved Glion.
120 years ago, Dark King were sealed behind Door of Darkness by Alchemist of the Daybreak, and remaining Glion joined Alchemys Union to continue his research.

Revival[]
Shortly after the first defeat of Gigist to Rainbow Gotchard, Germain alongside Gaelijah escaped from the Door of Darkness and approach their fellow Dark King, with him belittling Gigist for stepping out much earlier to reclaim Nijigon. He would then reveal to Atropos and Clotho the truth about Glion and how he had consumed him. Germain then immediately begins their plan to get rid of pests by first seeking Fuga Kudo alongside Gigist and Gaelijah.
After defeating Houtaro Ichinose and his allies, Germain and Gigist had an argument over the throne. Germain taunted Gigist while the latter was still injured, and then teleported away to find Nijigon.
Next day, after searching in vain, Germain immediately appeared in front of Houtaro and Rinne, he decided to defeat them completely, in order to obtain the fragments of the Philosopher's Stone and surpass the other Dark Kings once for all. He summoned a Golem to fight against Gotchard and Majade, the two Kamen Riders had no way to deal with it. However, the Golem was swiftly defeated by Platina Gotchard and Majade's counter attack, causing Germain get interested in two Kamen Riders, retreat from the battle.
Taken Out from the Inside[]
Germain would later be confronted again by Houtaro, Rinne and Supana and their allies, who combined their powers to defeat him. After Germain renegerated his body, he plans to consume Atropos to restore his strength. However, he meets his end when Atropos planted the golden Rubik's cube that belongs to Glion inside him, causing his body to become the vessel for Glion's resurrection.
Legacy[]
He and the remaining Dark Kings were created into mindless Homunculus by Kamen Rider Eld in the final battle, to prevent Houtaro and his allies from stopping Glion's ultimate goal. However, these Homunculus were still no match for Kamen Rider's power and were defeated.
Personality[]
Germain is a flamboyant being who believes that turning all of humanity into Malgams is the correct evolutionary path for humans and Chemies, and demands the return of the Chemies. Among all the Dark Kings, his personality is the most close to human. Towards enemies or allies who are not as strong as him, he will adopt a mocking or even playful attitude, such as tauntning of Gigist's injuries, thinking Gigist is not worthy of obtain the Philosopher's Stone fragments and the action tried to understood human thoughts are foolish.
He is also the one who pursues Nijigon the most intensely among the Dark Kings, and feels very disappointed when there is no trace of the latter.
He also has a twisted love for humanity as he claims to love them even if it meant torturing, exploiting, or mutilating them in ways that are considered extremely sadistic, immoral, and morbid. He also think all humans are mental deficiency that need to accept his twisted love, only by under his management, all human beings could achieve true happiness. Germain looking down on Fuga Kudo by calling him as a "strongest fly out of human", even though the latter is one of the most powerful alchemists.
Like his fellow member, they all held a contemptuous attitude towards homunculus of lower status than themselves. Germain mocked Atropos and Clotho directly in front of them, saying that Glion was just a doll created by Dark Kings, and very excited about the fact of consuming him. Towards their anger, Germain treat it was a proof of trying to resist him and disdained it. As regarding Kamen Riders, he just wants to get the fragments of the Philosopher's Stone by destroying them.
The same trait as his fellow members are, Germain is prone to anger when things doesn't go his way. Not only will he be furious, he will also curse his enemies, wishing them a peaceful death by his hand. When he defeated by Kamen Riders, he only thought about how to use Atropos' body and wanted to recover his strength by consuming her. Ironically, it was this inability to understand the thoughts and emotions of humans and Homunculus that ultimately led to Germain's failure.
