Genesis X: Tsumuri's Requiem (創世Ⅹ:ツムリの鎮魂歌レクイエム, Sōsei Ten: Tsumuri no Rekuiemu) is the forty-eighth and penultimate episode of Kamen Rider Geats. It concludes the Genesis Arc, featuring the debut of The End Riders and the return of Girori since his last appearance in Episode 16.

Synopsis[]

"Let the game that leads to the destruction of this world, begin."

No matter what, a dangerous game that threatens peace must be stopped. Ace and the others transform into Kamen Riders to confront their troublesome "enemies"!

And the situation will come to an end in the most unprecedented way ever...

Plot[]

Suel, having started his endgame plan as Kamen Rider Regad Omega, engulfs the entire world in one giant Jyamar Area. With the assistance of Black Tsumuri, Suel forcibly transforms random civilians into The End Riders against their will, whose only purpose is to kill one another for the amusement of the VIP audience from the future. Anyone deemed unfit to participate (i.e. trying to escape, refusing to fight or losing a battle) is promptly murdered by Suel’s army of Game Masters, much to the ire of the protagonists. Although Geats and Buffa attempt to stop the fighting, the The End Riders consider them enemies and attack the two, just as the first day of the final DGP ends.

On the second day, more and more people are turned into The End Riders. Keiwa Sakurai and Michinaga Azuma make an effort to save as many as possible. Win confronts a Game Master with the help of a reformed Daichi Isuzu, who commands his Jyamato Army to aid the heroes. At the same time, Ace Ukiyo goes to challenge Suel himself, much to the latter’s surprise. As it turns out, it is Girori – a former Game Master brought back by the management team – who has led the main Rider to Suel’s hideout. Girori chides Suel for having twisted and perverted the purpose of the DGP only to satisfy the sick wishes of the VIP audience, but the executive producer only brushes him aside. Ace transforms into Kamen Rider GeatsIX and begins his fight with Kamen Rider Regad Omega.

At first, GeatsIX and Regad Omega appear to be evenly matched. Unbeknownst to Suel, however, Neon Kurama and her father have already scared a proportion of the VIP audiences into turning their backs on Suel’s DGP, by offering them Kurama Conglomerate’s protection from future incidents. Since Kamen Rider Regad Omega is powered by the wishes of those very VIPs, their withdrawal of support weakens his armour, causing it to malfunction. GeatsIX consequently overpowers Suel and prepares to land the final blow.

To Ace’s bewilderment, Suel has yet another trick up his sleeve: By activating the “Reverse” ability on his Driver, Regad Omega rewinds time so that Ace is returned to the state before he has his Kamen Rider power. Vulnerable and defenceless against Suel, the protagonist is then approached by Tsumuri, who has the Geats Magnum 40X in hand. Ace is apparently shot dead by Tsumuri as the episode ends.
