The Geats Buster QB9 (ギーツバスターQキューBビー9ナイン, Gītsu Basutā Kyū Bī Nain) is the main weapon of Kamen Rider GeatsIX accessed with the Boost MarkIX Buckle.

It can also be used by Kamen Rider Zein using the GeatsIX Zein Card.

Design[]

The Geats Buster QB9 consists of the following parts:

  • Star Catapult (スターカタパルト, Sutā Kataparuto): Geats Buster QB9's electromagnetic ejection device. The charged particle cannon, which uses the upper and lower blades as electrodes, can shoot special energy materials generated by the Buster Revolver (バスターリボルバー, Basutā Riborubā).
  • Buster Revolver (バスターリボルバー, Basutā Riborubā): Geats Buster QB9's magazine. The high-order output supplied from the Desire Driver is compressed to high density by the ultra-high-speed rotation inside, creating various special energy materials. This allows for various special attacks.
  • Hop Up Assemble (ホップアップアセンブル, Hoppu Appu Asenburu): Expansion slot for Geats Buster QB9. By setting various raise buckles, extended armaments can be summoned and operated in cooperation with Geats Buster QB9. Also, by setting the Boost MarkIX buckle, it is possible to activate the special move Boost Tactical Impact (ブーストタクティカルインパクト, Būsuto Takutikaru Inpakuto).
  • Inputrigger (インプットリガー, Inputtorigā): The input device for the Geats Buster QB9. It is the starting point for various attacks.
  • QB9 Blade (QキューBビー9ナインブレード, Kyū Bī Nain Burēdo): The blade of the Geats Buster QB9. By deploying a blade that enables special slashing with a special energy material generated by the Buster Revolver (バスターリボルバー, Basutā Riborubā), it becomes Blade Mode (ブレードモード, Burēdo Mōdo) and performs slashing and shooting with a long sword at the same time.
  • QB9 Muzzle (QキューBビー9ナインマズル, Kyū Bī Nain Mazuru): The gun barrel of the Geats Buster QB9. It has a mechanism to shoot various special energy bullets separately, and it is possible to fire 900,000 shots per minute, even in the rapid fire that it is most good at.
  • Boost Charger (ブーストチャージャー, Būsuto Chājā): The energy supercharger of the Geats Buster QB9. By pulling it, a boost charge that rapidly increases the energy density of the magazine Buster Revolver (バスターリボルバー, Basutā Riborubā) is executed, and the special move Boost Tactical Victory (ブーストタクティカルビクトリー, Būsuto Takutikaru Bikutorī) can be activated.

Functionality[]

Modes[]

The Geats Buster QB9 has two modes. It can switch between Railgun Mode (レールガンモード, Rēru Gan Mōdo)[1][2][3] and Blade Mode (ブレードモード, Burēdo Mōdo).

Etymology[]

  • "QB" is pronounced the same way as "Kyubi" (九尾, Kyūbi), which directly translates to "Nine tails" and refers to the mythical Nine-tailed fox.

Notes[]

  • The Geats Buster QB9 is a retooled version of the Magnum Shooter 40X. As such, it features similar functions aside from the blade form.
    • The DX version announces "Zombie" with the Zombie Raise Buckle, and announces the name of the rider associated to a Rider Raise Buckle.
  • A white and gold version of the Buster is wielded by Kamen Rider Dooms Geats.
