Garai (ガライ ) is the prince descended from Fog Mother's blood. He usually takes the form of a tall man dressed in white, and is good at martial arts such as punching and choking, and is also capable of lightly receiving enemy attacks with his fists[1]. In addition, he has floating ability such as standing on the surface of the sea[1]. Garai has a ruthless personality, such as thinking of "life" only as an "object" and expressing[2] death as "be broken"[1].
History[]
Garai preceded to carry out the sacrificial ceremony while his younger siblings battled J. He eventually took on J himself to keep the sacrifice going, until Berry came to his aid in vain. But with Kana now in the egg chamber and Berry knocked out, Garai transformed into his monster form. Garai was even stronger in this form when Kamen Rider J impaled a sharp object in him. Garai used his ball attack on him. When J got free from it, he used the Rider Kick to knock Garai unto the altar, fatally wounding him.
Kamen Rider World[]
Appear in monster form as a subordinate of Shadow Moon. He uses a non-luminous glass sword, and even a monster can speak in human language[1]. [Kamen Rider World]
Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker[]
Garai, among many other revived monsters, was part of the Dai-Shocker army in the World of Decade that was fought and wiped out by a gathering of 25 Kamen Riders. [Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker]
Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider W & Decade: Movie War 2010[]
Garai was revived as part of the Dai-Shocker remnant, Super Shocker. He was part of Super Shocker's forces in the final battle, surviving even up to Doras' arrival and siding with it alongside other monsters. However, he was destroyed alongside the Scorpion Orphnoch by a surprise Rider Kick from Kamen Rider Kabuto. [Kamen Rider Decade: The Last Story]
OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Riders[]
Due to a change in history caused by Ankh leaving a O Medal behind in 1971, Shocker achieved its goal of world dominion with the Shocker Greeed which defeated the Double Riders, and new members from the various groups that would had manifested in the normal timeline after Shocker's destruction. Garai was among the many monsters who were part of the this alliance. As more and more of the Kamen Riders started appearing and fighting Shocker's forces, J fought against Garai once more. By flipping the ring in his right ear, Garai is enveloped in white fog and transforms into a monster form[1], known as Cobra Man (コブラ男, Kobura Otoko). When transformed, he does not speak human language at all, and emits a beast-like roar[1]. He has the strength to survive even if his abdomen is skewered with a cane.
