The Game Master (ゲームマスター, Gēmu Masutā) is a title held by administrators of the Desire Grand Prix, Desire Royale and the Jyamato Grand Prix, with their leader being Suel.
Overview[]
As the administrator of the Desire Grand Prix, a Game Master has many powers over the organization and the tournament, such as selecting individuals who get to participate in the Desire Grand Prix,[Conspiracy I: New World's Beat], deciding when a DGP game is over (regardless of if the final boss is defeated or not), and declaring interim rounds whenever they see fit.[Conspiracy VI: Kamen Rider Qualifications] A Game Master is in possession of one of two Vision Drivers, allowing them to control the DGP's systems and transform into a Kamen Rider whenever necessary. Suel, the leader and high authority of all Game Masters, possesses the one copy of the Zillion Driver, allowing him all the permissions of the Vision Driver and then some.
Despite the Game Master's overseeing powers of the Desire Grand Prix, the position does have their limitations, such as being forbidden to directly influence or manipulate the outcome of a DGP game.[Conspiracy V: Glare of Anger] Additionally, the Game Master is not the highest authority present in the DGP, as their position can be forcibly revoked by the DGP's higher management (such as Niramu, a game producer) if they have been deemed to have gone rogue by violating the game's rules themselves. The 'Game Master' title and power are not bestowed upon the higher managements power but are bestowed upon anyone wielding a Vision Driver. Known examples are Colus and Beroba. In the case of Colus, he retired as a Game Master but regained authority after stealing the Vision Driver from Girori. In the case of Beroba, even though she is a Jyamato sponsor and an enemy to the Desire Grand Prix management, upon seizing control of the Vision Driver she kickstarted the Jyamato Grand Prix and became its Game Master simply by owning the Vision Driver. As the DGP founder, Suel can also appoint himself the Game Master of any game he wants, as when he restarted the Desire Royale.
Game Master's themselves do not necessarily have to be in charge of their duties in a game in the Desire Grand Prix, as seen with Zitt being tasked by Suel to eliminate Geats, even though the Desire Grand Prix does not hold tournaments anymore after the Grand End.
Although in most of the games in the series, only one Game Master will participate as the administrator of the game to carry out missions, it is still possible for multiples of Game Masters to act at that same time, this was shown when Suel deployed several of Game Master at the same time as the judges for the closing Game of Desire Grand Prix.
