The GA-04 Antoures (GA-04〈アンタレス〉, Ji Ē Zero Fō Antaresu) is one of Kamen Rider G3 and G3-X's personal weapons.
Overview[]
The GA-04 Antoures is an arm-worn wire-anchor hook, mounted on left arm when in use and on the left back section of the Guard Chaser when not in use. It was used to disarm the Jackal Lord Skelos Falx of his scythe, leaving him open to being terminated by the GG-02 Salamander. It was later used in combination with the GX-05 Kerberos to destroy the Lizard Lord Stellio Sinistra.
Design[]
The GA-04 Antoures has the following parts:[1]
- Hook Point (フックポイント, Fukku Pointo) - A super-hard hook that can pierce targets.
- Treble Hook Anchor (トレブルフックアンカー, Toreburu Fukku Ankā) - It has a three-pronged hook blade made of grade 10 Geranium, a super-hard material that expands upon launch.
- Compressed Gas Cylinder (圧縮ガスボンベ, Asshuku Gasu Bonbe) - It accumulates highly compressed gas for deploying the hook.
- Target Sight (ターゲットサイト, Tāgetto Saito) - It detects the target and communicates a reliable hooking point to the user.
- Active Line (アクティブライン, Akutibu Rain) - It has a tensile load of 50t and withstands the pressure of 15t instantaneous cutting load.
- Power Winch Unit (パワーウインチユニット, Pawā Uinchi Yunitto) - Allows G3 to pull in up to 20t.
- Motor Rewinder (モーターリワインダー, Mōtā Riwaindā) - The line is regularly wound around a titanium spool that can hold an Active Line up to 100m.
