Fumika Baba (馬場 ふみか, Baba Fumika) is a Japanese actress and model who portrayed Medic and Misuzu Hatori in Kamen Rider Drive,
Biography[]
When Baba was ten, she took acting lessons with a children's theater group. When she was 14, she was scouted and began working as a model. She made her professional acting debut in a film while in high-school, while her role as Medic was her debut drama performance.
In December of 2019, she and Build-star Eiji Akaso co-star in a drama series titled Hey Sensei! Don't You Know?
Personal life[]
- Baba was one of the final contenders for the role of Kiriko Shijima alongside Rio Uchida. After the latter had been cast, Baba received a call-back to portray a villain instead as the producers wanted Medic to be a villain not hated by children. Furthermore, they stated that Baba was perfect for the role due to her initial shyness and no prior acting portfolio.
