Blank Form[3] (ブランク体, Buranku-tai) is the form Ryuki takes when he does not have a Contract Monster. The basic color is blue gray[4], and the details are different, such as the lack of a dragon design in each part. He possesses a generic arm-mounted Visor named the Ridevisor and a single Advent Card that summons the Ridesaber, a fragile sword that shattered upon its first use.

Its combat ability is much weaker than any of his other forms and any of the other Riders, and the AP of usable cards is extremely low, though it still allows him to be in the Mirror World without disintegrating. Shinji began the series in this form before he contracted Dragreder, and reverted back to it when his Advent Card was stolen by Kamen Rider Gai.

This form consists of the following parts:

  • R Signal (Rシグナル, Ā Shigunaru): It plays the role of a radar sensor and detects and notifies the position and existence of the Mirror Monsters, but its sensitivity is low because he does not have a contract with the monster.
  • Solid Face Shield (ソリッドフェイスシールド, Soriddo Feisu Shīrudo): A face protector made of special material Armetal (アーメタル, Āmetaru).
    • Red Eye (レッドアイ, Reddo Ai): A red compound eyes behind the Solid Face Shield. In this form, Ryuki can see targets 5 km away. It has infrared eyesight, and by signing a contract with a monster, those functions are fully demonstrated.
  • Granmail (グランメイル, Guranmeiru): A specially strengthened skin that covers the wearer's body, allowing him to stay in the Mirror World for 9 minutes and 55 seconds. If the Rider have a contract with Mirror Monster, he can maximize the human ability. This form Granmail is blue gray.
    • Force Bone (フォース・ボーン, Fōsu Bōn): A three-line control organ that is located in the center of the body, on both arms, and the back of legs, and has the role of distributing the power throughout the body in a well-balanced manner. By the action of this organ, the surplus energy is released to the outside, and only the appropriate energy is preserved.
  • Chest: The most defensive part of Kamen Rider. If the Rider forms a contract with Mirror Monster, he will be stronger and will be able to withstand drops from high altitudes and water pressure of 10,000 m in the deep sea.
  • Zippetto Thread (ジペット・スレッド, Jipetto Sureddo): A remote control device points for manipulating Contract Monster at will. However, since he does not have a contract with Mirror Monster, it will not be used. It is equipped in a total of 10 places on the arms (the left side behind Ride Visor), shoulder armors, back, waist (V-Buckle), and knees.

Ryuki achieves his default form upon forming a contract with Dragreder. He is now equipped with the Dragvisor on his left arm and possesses a variety of Advent Cards. In comparison to the other Riders, his parameters are balanced.

Ryuki doesn't have a card with a special effect, but the existing cards has a good balance between perspective, offense and defense, has high overall physical strength, and boasts the highest combat specs among all Riders. Ryuki can handle both close and long distance combat, but is mainly good at close distance.

This form consists of the following parts:

  • DragCrown (ドラグクラウン, Doragukuraun): The dragon emblem on the head as a proof of contracting with Dragreder, which emerged in order to maximize his power.
    • R Signal (R シグナル, Ā Shigunaru): A lamp-shaped radar sensor on the head (combined with DragCrown). Reliably detect the position and existence of the enemy.
  • Solid Face Shield (ソリッドフェイスシールド, Soriddo Feisu Shīrudo): A face protector made of special material Armetal (アーメタル, Āmetaru). It has a hardness that can withstand any impact, absorbs the impact almost completely, and protects the wearer inside. It also plays the role of a purification device that neutralizes dangerous substances in the air such as poisonous gas. Ryuki’s has a dragon mustache-like decoration at the top connected to DragCrown. In the S.I.C. toyline, this part is removable, revealing Red Eye more clearly.
    • Red Eye (レッドアイ, Reddo Ai): A red compound eyes behind the Solid Face Shield with visual acuity that will not miss any objects 15 km away. In the dark, it demonstrates infrared night vision and can fight in the same way as in bright places.
  • Granmail (グランメイル, Guranmeiru): A special strengthened skin that keeps many monsters away. It maximizes human ability in the Mirror World and allows the wearer to fight as a Kamen Rider, but there is a limit of 9 minutes 55 seconds, and if the wearer exceed the limit, the transformation will be forcibly released. The wearer should exit Mirror World immediately when the time limit has reached. Ryuki’s Granmail is red.
    • Force Bone (フォース・ボーン, Fōsu Bōn): A three-line control organ that is located in the center of the body, on both arms, and the back of legs, and has the role of distributing the power throughout the body in a well-balanced manner. By the action of this organ, the surplus energy is released to the outside, and only the appropriate energy is preserved.
  • Dragon Chest (ドラゴンチェスト, Doragon Chesuto): A chest armor. Has a functions as a shield that repels most attacks and shocks due to the triple structure. It is the strongest part of the Ryuki's body and can withstand drops from ultra-high altitudes and water pressure of 10,000 m in the deep sea.
  • Zippetto Thread (ジペット・スレッド, Jipetto Sureddo): A remote control device points that transmits the Rider's will directly from the brain to the Contract Monster. It is equipped in a total of 10 places on the arms (the left side behind Dragvisor), shoulder armors, back, waist (V-Buckle), and knees.
  • Black Armor (ブラックアーマー, Burakku Āmā): A protective equipment made of Armetal mounted on the Granmail (arm and leg). Made of a strong material comparable to diamond, it is extremely sturdy.
  • DragKnuckle (ドラグナックル, Doragunakkuru): A panel made of Armetal that covers the back of the hand. When this material hits the enemy, the power of the punch that Ryuki delivers is maximized.
  • RegBlack (レッグブラック, Regguburakku): The black part of the shoes. It has both instantaneous destructive power and strength to withstand the impact of destruction. Therefore, even if the deadly Dragon Rider Kick is executed, Ryuki is remain unharmed. The sole has a decoration of Ryuki’s crest.

Through the use of his Sword Vent Advent Card, Ryuki can arm himself with the Dragsaber (ドラグセイバー, Doragu Seibā), a sword derived from Dragreder's tail. His Strike Vent arms him with the Dragclaw (ドラグクロー, Doragu Kurō), a gauntlet capable of shooting fireballs that is derived from Dragreder's head. With the Dragclaw, Ryuki can perform the Dragclaw Fire (ドラグクローファイヤー, Doragu Kurō Faiyā) attack with Dragreder, in which he and Dragreder each launch a fireball at the opponent. His Guard Vent equips him with the Dragshield (ドラグシールド, Doragu Shīrudo), two shields derived from segments of Dragreder's body that can be held by hand or mounted on Ryuki's shoulders.

By using his Final Vent, Ryuki can execute his finisher, the Dragon Rider Kick (ドラゴンライダーキック, Doragon Raidā Kikku), in which he jumps into the air with Dragreder flying behind him. Dragreder then breathes fire at Ryuki, propelling him into a flying kick that strikes the enemy.

Kamen Rider Ryuki Survive (仮面ライダー龍騎サバイブ, Kamen Raidā Ryūki Sabaibu) is Ryuki's final form, assumed by using the Survive Rekka Advent Card. The Survive Rekka card transforms the Dragvisor into the the Dragvisorzwei, which Ryuki uses to transform into Survive Form and read Advent Cards. Transforming into Survive form also causes Dragreder to transform into Dragranzer. Survive Form enhances all of Ryuki's stats, allowing him to surpass all other Riders, with the exception of those who are also using a Survive Advent Card, such as Knight Survive and Odin.

This form consists of the following parts:

  • DragCrown (ドラグクラウン, Doragukuraun): The dragon emblem on the head as a proof of contracting with Dragreder (evolved into Dragranzer), which emerged in order to maximize his power. The color changed to gold.
    • R Signal (R シグナル, Ā Shigunaru): A lamp-shaped radar sensor on the head (combined with DragCrown). Reliably detect the presence and position of the Mirror Monsters.
  • Solid Face Shield (ソリッドフェイスシールド, Soriddo Feisu Shīrudo): A face protector made of special material Armetal (アーメタル, Āmetaru). It has a hardness that can withstand any impact, absorbs the impact almost completely, and protects the wearer inside. It also plays the role of a purification device that neutralizes dangerous substances in the air such as poisonous gas. The top line is now gold.
    • DragFeeler (ドラグフィーラー, Doragufīrā): The two super-sensory organs (antenna) on the forehead. It allows Ryuki to communicate with Dragranzer over long distances.
    • Red Eye (レッドアイ, Reddo Ai): A red compound eyes behind the Solid Face Shield. Ryuki’s eyesight has also been enhanced, and he can now see objects up to 20 km away. In the dark, it demonstrates infrared night vision and can fight in the same way as in bright places. The eyes position is now slightly to the center of the mask.
  • Granmail (グランメイル, Guranmeiru): A special strengthened skin that keeps many monsters away. It maximizes human ability in the Mirror World and allows the wearer to fight as a Kamen Rider, but there is a limit of 9 minutes 55 seconds, and if the wearer exceed the limit, the transformation will be forcibly released. The wearer should exit Mirror World immediately when the time limit has reached. This form Granmail is black.
    • Force Bone (フォース・ボーン, Fōsu Bōn): A three-line control organ that is located in the center of the body, on both arms, and the back of legs, and has the role of distributing the power throughout the body in a well-balanced manner. By the action of this organ, the surplus energy is released to the outside, and only the appropriate energy is preserved.
  • Red Defense (レッドディフェンス, Reddo Difensu): A chest armor that is stronger than the normal Dragon Chest due to the influence of the Survive Advent Card (Rekka).
  • Zippetto Thread (ジペット・スレッド, Jipetto Sureddo): A remote control device points that transmits the Rider's will directly from the brain to the Contract Monster. It is equipped in a total of 10 places on the arms, shoulder armors, back, waist (V-Buckle), and knees.
  • Gold Armor (ゴールドアーマー, Gōrudo Āmā): The part most strongly influenced by the Survival Advent Card (Rekka). A strong and lightweight protective equipment is added to the surface of Granmail to improve defense.
  • DragKnuckle (ドラグナックル, Doragunakkuru): A panel made of Armetal that covers the back of the hand. When this material hits the enemy, the power of the punch that Ryuki delivers is maximized.
  • RegBlack (レッグブラック, Regguburakku): The black part of the shoes. It has both instantaneous destructive power and strength to withstand the impact of destruction.

Using the Sword Vent Advent Card converts the Dragvisorzwei to a blade mode named the Drag Blade (ドラグブレード, Doragu Burēdo).The Dragvisorzwei can also function as a ranged weapon by shooting fireballs. By using the Shoot Vent, Ryuki can perform the Meteorbullet (メテオバレット, Meteo Buretto) attack alongside Dragranzer, in which he and Dragranzer each launch a fireball at the opponent.

By using his Final Vent, Ryuki Survive can perform his final attack, the Dragon Fire Storm (ドラゴンファイヤーストーム, Doragon Faiyā Sutōmu), which transforms Dragranzer into a bike for Ryuki to ride. Ryuki drives toward the enemy and performs a wheelie, followed by Dragranzer shooting several fireballs at the opponent from its mouth. Finally, Ryuki slams into the opponent, destroying it.

Kamen Rider Decade's Final Form Ride allows Ryuki to change into Ryuki Dragreder (リュウキドラグレッダー, Ryūki Doragureddā). This automatically equips Ryuki with Guard Vent and Sword Vent. While the first transformation required Decade's assistance, Ryuki eventually was able to transform at will into this form. Ryuki can also shoot fireballs from his mouth in this form.

  • KamenRide: Ryuki (カメンライドリュウキ, Kamenraido Ryūki): Transforms Decade into Ryuki's default form. Regained when Tsukasa and Shinji worked together to defeat Kamen Rider Abyss. [Super Trick of the Real Criminal]
  • KamenRide: Ryuki Survive (カメンライドリュウキサバイブ, Kamenraido Ryūki Sabaibu): Summons Kamen Rider Ryuki Survive, armed with the Dragvisorzwei. Using the Final AttackRide: Ryuki card allows Decade to execute a Burningsaber-style attack alongside Ryuki Survive.

  • FormRide: Ryuki Blank Form (フォームライドリユウキブランクフォーム, Fōmuraido Ryūki Buranku Fōmu): Transforms Decade into Ryuki's Blank Form.

These cards allow Decade to perform any of their own attacks, Decade is also able to use any signature attacks of whatever Kamen Rider he has transformed into.

  • AttackRide: Ryuki Strike Vent (アタックライドリュウキストライクベント, Atakkuraido Ryūki Sutoraiku Bento): As Ryuki, Decade summons the Dragclaw. Unlike the original Ryuki, it is not used alongside Dragreder.
  • AttackRide: Ryuki Advent (アタックライドリュウキアドベント, Atakkuraido Ryūki Adobento): As Ryuki, Decade summons Dragreder. First used in Kamen Rider × Super Sentai: Super Hero Taisen.
  • AttackRide: Ryuki Guard Vent (アタックライドリュウキガードベント, Atakkuraido Ryūki Gādo Bento): As Ryuki, Decade summons the Dragshield. Used in Kamen Rider Battride War.

Etymology[]

The name Ryuki (龍騎) translates to "Dragon Knight". Ki (騎) is from Kishi (騎士, Knight).

  • In addition to the name "Ryuki", there were also proposals for Ryuga (龍牙, Ryūga, lit. "Dragon Fang") and Dragon (龍, Ryū).[8]
  • The design of Solid Face Shield has been under consideration since the time of the Knight Hero project, and the compound eyes was added when moving to the Kamen Rider project. In addition, the mouth is the image of X-Rider's Perfecter.[9]
  • The triangular pattern on the back of the head follows the design of Kamen Rider 1.[10]
