  • Punching power: 7.7 t.[1][2]
  • Kicking power: 11.5 t.[1][2]
  • Maximum jump height: 30.5 m.[1][2]
  • Maximum running speed: 100 m. per 7.6 sec.[1][2]

Action Gamer Level 1 (アクションゲーマーレベル1, Akushion Gēmā Reberu Wan) is Ex-Aid's default, super deformed form, activated by inserting the Mighty Action X Gashat into the Gamer Driver.

This form is extremely agile, capable of rolling, somersaulting, and bouncing off of walls, utilizing the chocolate blocks generated by Mighty Action X. It is used to battle Bugster-infected humans and is the only way to separate the Bugster from its host, due to this form housing inbuilt Pulse Splitter (パルスプリッター, Parusupurittā) pulse generators that can split a Bugster from a human.

Level 1 is physically stronger than Level 2, possessing exactly 2 more tons of Punching Power and 1.3 tons more Kicking Power, but is unwieldy in combat with a more precise foe, and slower than Level 2.

When Ex-Aid used the Christmas Energy Item, Action Gamer Level 1 becomes a Christmas version of this form. In this form, he has Santa's beard and hat, a red and white cape, and red slipper boots.

Level 1 consists of the following parts:

  • Ex-Aid Head ACT 1 (EXヘッド-ACT1, EX Heddo-ACT1): The helmet/head area.
    • Eye Light Scope (アイライトスコープ, Ai Raito Sukōpu): The 'eyes'. It can emit light for night battles and can also capture images comparable to a high- speed camera. It can also observe microscopic Bugster Virus.
    • Dynamic Goggles (ダイナミックゴーグル, Dainamikku Gōguru): Kamen Rider Ex-Aid's goggles. It protects the visual sensors from shocks and dirt and is coated with a blast-resistant coating.
    • Cool Ride Hair (クールライドヘアー, Kūru Raido Heā): The "hair". It is modelled after the player character of Mighty Action X and is coated with a blast-resistant coating, increasing its strength to more than necessary levels.
    • React Signal (リアクトシグナル, Riakuto Shigunaru): The green signalling device on the forehead. It can capture and identify motion and set tracking markers automatically. The radar on the internal monitor shows the positions of enemies, allies and energy items.
    • Air Fresh Guard (エアフレッシュガード, Ea Furesshu Gādo): The silver 'mouthplate'. An intake system within filters out harmful substances in the air. It also regulates the suit's temperature and allow for underwater breathing.
  • Entry Gear Suit (エントリーギアスーツ, Entorī Gia Sūtsu): The overall bodysuit. It increases the rider's physical capability by strengthening the body. It's large size is due to multiple inbuilt Pulse Splitter (パルスプリッター, Parusupurittā) pulse generators that can separate a Bugster Virus from a human when Ex-Aid comes into contact with them.
  • Mech Life Guard (メックライフガード, Mekku Raifu Gādo): The chest armor. It disperses damage throughout the body to protect the chest, preventing Ex-Aid from suffering serious injuries. It becomes more protective the lower the rider's health.
  • X Controller (エクスコントローラー, Ekusu Kontorōrā): The circle withh four colorful circles within it, located to the right side of the chest. It is a management module. It transitions to debug mode and systems control when activating the special attack.
  • Rider Gauge (ライダーゲージ, Raidā Gēji): A lifebar that shows the Rider's health. When the gauge runs out, the Rider will die.
  • Common Unbreakers (コモンアンブレイカー, Komon Anbureikā): The shoulder armor. Air injection technology is used to reduce its weight. It can spray out a strengthening agent to raise Ex-Aid's defense for a short amount of time.
  • Fast Strike Arms (ファーストライクアーム, Fāsutoraiku Āmu): The arms. They are made out of a soft material that have excellent shock absorption qualities, reducing damage when hit.
  • Common Big Gloves (コモンビッググローブ, Komon Biggu Gurōbu): The hands. They are large gloves that can execute punches with a high accuracy rate. Due to its size and weight, an opponent can be subject to high impact damage. To do more damage, a removal program may be inserted into a Bugster when punched.
  • Fast Strike Legs (ファーストライクレッグ, Fāsutoraiku Reggu): The legs. They are made out of a soft material that have excellent shock absorption qualities, reducing damage when hit.
  • Common Big Shoes (コモンビッグシューズ, Komon Biggu Shūzu): The feet. Built-in reinforced springs increase Ex-Aid's jump height, allowing Ex-Aid to move faster than he looks. A removal program may be inserted into a Bugster when kicked.

This form's finisher is the Mighty Critical Strike (マイティクリティカルストライク, Maiti Kuritikaru Sutoraiku): Ex-Aid covers his right foot in turquoise energy before leaping into the air and delivering a kick to the enemy.

This form can easily take a direct hit from Dark Graphite's Black Dragon Sword, a powerful attack that is strong enough to defeat 2 Level 3 and 1 Level 2 Kamen Riders at once, unharmed. However, during its initial usage, this form's overwhelming power rendered Ex-Aid a rampaging mindless beast, not unlike OOO's Putotyra Combo, attacking friend and foe alike, before de-transforming itself and leaving Emu exhausted. Later, Ex-Aid could control this form with sheer willpower for a very short time, but still taxing his stamina.

Hunter Action Gamer Level 5 (Full Dragon) adds the following parts:

  • EX Head-HU-ACT 5 (EXヘッド-HU-ACT5, EX Heddo-HU-ACT5): Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Hunter Action Gamer Level 5 head.

    • Dragoknight-Fang (ドラゴナイトファング, Dorago Naito Fangu): The "mouth" of the Horn Drago Helm. The sharp fangs and strong jaw can easily crush enemies. It can also shoot out flames to burn enemies.
  • Chest Drago Mail (チェストドラゴメイル, Chesuto Dorago Meiru): The chestplate. It can absorb physical damage to protect the chest. It has a function to repair itself if damage to prevent a decrease in defense.
  • Gail Drago Wings (ゲイルドラゴウィング, Geiru Dorago Wingu): Wings attached to the armor's back. They can act as a shield and also allow for a flight for a short amount of time.
  • Shoulder Drago Armor (ショルドドラゴアーマー, Shorudo Dorago Āma): The shoulder armor. They can absorb physical damage to protect the shoulders. Electromagnetic devices are built inside to increase the power of the Dragoknight-Blade and Dragoknight-Gun.

  • Dragoknight-Gun (ドラゴナイトガン, Dorago Naito Gan): An electromagnetic cannon mounted on the left arm. It can destroy Bugster Viruses with a compressed metal shot at high speed.
  • Leg Drago Armor (レッグドラゴアーマー, Reggu Dorago Āmā): The leg armors. It can absorb physical damage to protect the legs. It has an air injection device to reduce weight and increase movement speed.

This form's finisher is the Drago Knight Critical Strike (ドラゴナイトクリティカルストライク, Dorago Naito Kuritikaru Sutoraiku): Ex-Aid along with the other doctor Riders deliver consecutive energy attacks to the enemy (In Ex-Aid's case, he shoots powerful streams of fire from Dragon Fang), destroying the enemy.

It is a redesign of Level 1 with azure and orange hair, and a different chest piece.

Compared to his other forms, Ex-Aid has far superior stats in this form, as shown when he is able to damage Genm Zombie Gamer Level X with ease, something that neither Kamen Riders in Level 3 or even Level 5 could do. He can wield the Gashacon Key Slasher in this form.

The Rider Gauge needs to be above one health bar in order for Level X to split into Level XX.

This form's finisher is the Mighty Double Critical Strike (マイティダブルクリティカルストライク, Maiti Daburu Kuritikaru Sutoraiku): Ex-Aid performs a series of kicks at the enemy.

Ability Parameters

Double Action Gamer Level XX (ダブルアクションゲーマーレベルXX, Daburu Akushion Gēmā Reberu Tsuentī, lit. "Double Action Gamer Level 20") is Ex-Aid's upgraded fighter form, accessed from Double Action Gamer Level X by closing and reopening the lever. In this form, Ex-Aid splits into two separate bodies and wields mainly the Gashacon Key Slasher and the Gashacon Breaker. Despite the title, both Ex-Aids' are Level X Riders, thus the "XX" rank is due to their combined Level since they are in fact the same person.

The azure Ex-Aid XX L acts like Emu as he is relatively calm and prioritizes the patient's safety first. His other half, the orange Ex-Aid XX R acts like the Genius Gamer M; he is cocky and prioritizes defeating the enemy to ensure victory. The role of XX R would eventually be taken over by Parado after he is revealed to be Emu's Bugster.

As opposed to becoming slightly weaker like going from Level 1 to Level 2, leveling up into this form offers a massive power boost, as all of Ex-Aid's stats are increased. As stated by Kuroto Dan, each separated Ex-Aid has the power of Level X, so the total level is added up to 20 as Level XX. Furthermore, if both personalities' objectives are synchronized, Ex-Aid can perform various outstanding joint-attacks.

This form initially had a side effect; when Emu deactivates his transformation, he gets massive headaches that are unbearable and cause him to faint. After Emu overcomes his fear of the Bugster Virus inside him, the side effects this form poses no longer occur.

It should be noted that when Emu initially used the Mighty Brothers XX Gashat during the battle against the Genomes, he transformed straight into this form skipping Level X, while his Level 2 form is briefly seen as an intermediate during the transformation.

As a result of Parado hijacking Emu's body in Episode 28, later transformations of Double Action Gamer Level XX will have Parado taking place of Genius Gamer M as Ex-Aid Level XX R instead.

Double Action Gamer Level XX consists of the following parts:

  • EX Head-DOU-XX/L (EXヘッド-DOU-XX/L, EX Heddo-DOU-XX/L)/EX Head-DOU-XX/R (EXヘッド-DOU-XX/R, EX Heddo-DOU-XX/R): Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Double Action Gamer Level XX/L and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Double Action Gamer Level XX/R head.

It increases the rider's physical capability by strengthening the body. The agility focused adjustments increase the rider's reaction time and the rider's skills will be reflected as attack power. A device called a Smash Linker (スマッシュリンカー, Sumasshu Rinkā) boosts the suit's abilities after a successful co-op attack.
  • L-Face Unbreaker (L-フェイスアンブレイカー, L-Feisu Anbureikā)/R-Face Unbreaker (R-フェイスアンブレイカー, R-Feisu Anbureikā): Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Double Action Gamer XX/L and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Double Action Gamer XX/R's "faceplate" on the shoulders. The arms allow for quick responses for complicated attacks.
  • X Fight Glove (エクスファイトグローブ, Ekusu Faito Gurōbu) -Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Double Action Gamer Level XX/L and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Double Action Gamer Level XX/R's gloves. It coordinates with the Gashacon weapons to optimize attacks. It also injects a Bugster removal program when executing punches to do more damage.
  • EX Growth Leg (EXグロウスレッグ, EX Gurousu Reggu): Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Double Action Gamer Level XX/L and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Double Action Gamer Level XX/R's legs. Their high running speed allows the rider to attack quickly.
  • X Fight Shoes (エクスファイトシューズ, Ekusu Faito Shūzu): Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Double Action Gamer Level XX/L and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Double Action Gamer Level XX/R's shoes. It enables acrobatic movement such as airborne flight, adjustment of drop timing, and two-step jumps. It also injects a Bugster removal program when executing punches to do more damage.

Ability Parameters
  • Punching power: 99 t.[21][22] → proportional to height[23](approx. 1778.9 t.)
  • Kicking power: 99 t.[21][22] → proportional to height[23](approx. 1778.9 t.)
  • Maximum jump height: 99 m.[21][22]
  • Maximum running speed: 100 m. per 0.99 sec.[21][22]

Maximum Gamer Level 99 (マキシマムゲーマーレベル99, Makishimamu Gēmā Reberu Nainti Nain) is Ex-Aid's super form, accessed by inserting the Maximum Mighty X Gashat into the Gamer Driver, pulling the lever (causing Ex-Aid to transform into Action Gamer if he hasn't already), and then pressing the button on top of the Gashat to combine with the Maximum Gamer.

The form itself is a hefty mecha-like form resembling Ex-Aid's chibi Level 1 form. This form is used to access Muteki Gamer, similarly to the Level Up mechanism going from Level 1 to Level 2.

In this form, Ex-Aid's stats skyrocket tremendously with the massive power brought by the Maximum Gamer, to the point where not even Genm as Genm-X can surpass and being beaten easily by Ex-Aid's brutal attacks, making him a great force to be reckoned with. The stats of Ex-Aid increase accordingly with his height when affected by Giant Energy Item[23].

Ex-Aid Muteki Mode (briefly seen)

During Ex-Aid's transformation into Muteki Gamer, Ex-Aid Level 99 briefly enters Muteki Mode (ムテキモード, Muteki Mōdo) before the Muteki Gamer armor fuses with him.

Additionally, Ex-Aid can also wield the Gashacon Breaker from Mighty Action X, and the Gashacon Key Slasher from Mighty Brothers XX. This form also has the ability to rewrite the Bugster coding via the Knuckles and the Boots, allowing him to remove a Rider's compatibility or some of his enemy's powers, Rider or Bugster alike.

Muteki Gamer (ムテキゲーマー, Muteki Gēmā, lit. Invincible Gamer) is Ex-Aid's final form, accessed using the Hyper Muteki Gashat. To transform, Hyper Muteki must first be inserted into the Gamer Driver's GD Hyper Module port then, while Emu is transformed into Maximum Gamer, pressing the Gashat's Hyper Muteki Switch to activate. Emu can also transform by installing both Gashats into their proper ports and activating them simultaneously.

This form is powered by Genius Gamer M, the manifestation of Parado's Game Disease. Emu initially could not harness the power of the Hyper Muteki Gashat during the period that Parado was separated from his body. However, using Poppy's Gashacon Bugvisor II, Emu reinfected himself with Parado's Game Disease to reclaim the means to transform into Muteki Gamer. With the infection reintroduced, Emu doesn't require Parado in his body to harness Muteki Gamer; however, according to Cronus, Parado has to remain alive in order for Ex-Aid to access this form.

In this form, Ex-Aid's stats rise to a tremendous degree, surpassing every Rider in the series, with his maximum running speed now being more than twice the speed of sound. This includes Cronus, who was the strongest Rider before Muteki Gamer. Muteki Gamer mainly wields the Gashacon Key Slasher from Mighty Brothers XX.

Muteki Gamer is designed to be "invincible". In this form, Emu can warp to avoid harm and is immune to negative status effects and abilities including Cronus' "Pause" ability (though Gamedeus possessed the ability to slow him to some degree).

Unlike the "Muteki Mode" gained by other Riders using Hyper Muteki, Muteki Gamer is a complete transformation, with no limitation on abilities and duration.

Muteki Gamer consists of the following parts:

  • EX Head-MTK (EXヘッド-MTK, EX Heddo-MTK): The helmet.
    • Hologram Eye Light (ホログラムアイライト, Horoguramu Ai Raito): The 'eyes'. It can emit light for night battles and can also capture images comparable to a high- speed camera. It can also observe all microscopic Bugster Virus within an area instantaneously.
    • Vertex Goggles (ヴァーテックスゴーグル, Vu~ātekkusu Gōguru): The goggles. It protects the visual sensors from shocks and dirt and is coated with a blast and dust-resistant coating, ensuring clear visibility while raising defense.
    • Hyper Ride Blade (ハイパーライドブレード, Haipā Raido Burēdo): A giant golden blade sticking out the top of the helmet. It can stop an opponent's special functions and interfere with their battle systems, affecting their attack and defense power.
    • React Crystal (リアクトクリスタル, Riakuto Kurisutaru): The light blue star-shaped stone mounted on the Hyper Ride Blade. It is a searching device that can capture and identify motions and set tracking markers automatically. The radar on the internal monitor shows the positions of enemies, the health of allies, energy items, etc.
    • Hyper Ride Hair (ハイパーライドヘアー, Haipā Raido Heā): The dreadlocks. Each 'hair strand' is actually a long retractable telescopic bladed whip. They're extremely strong, and can physically pick up other Riders and throw them. Moreover, it can release glowing Sparking Glitter (スパーキングリッター, Supākingurittā) particles which can cover and reinforce the entire body, momentarily doubling Muteki Gamer's punching and kicking power.
    • Sender Ears (センダーイヤー, Sendā Iyā): The hearing sensors. It filters surrounding noise so Ex-Aid only hears the necessary sounds. There is also a communication function for private conversations with specific parties.
    • Air Fresh Guard (エアフレッシュガード, Ea Furesshu Gādo): The mouthplate. An intake system within the it filters out harmful substances in the air. It also regulates the suit's temperature by using outside air, and allow for underwater breathing thanks to compressed air stored inside.
  • EX Muteki Armor (EXムテキアーマー, EX Muteki Āmā): The chest armor. During deathblows, the EX Muteki Armor makes the entire body completely invincible, preventing any damage whatsoever during the execution of finishing techniques.
  • Sparking Shoulders (スパーキングショルダー, Supākingu Shorudā): The shoulder armor. It is a special field generator unit and can expand a blocking field across a Game Area to prevent enemies from executing special attacks. However, this ability does not seem to affect other Rider's abilities to execute their finishers and is most likely intended for anti-Bugster operations. The Sparking Shoulders can also create spatiotemporal distortions to allow Ex-Aid to short-warp within a Game Area.
  • Muteki Gear Suit (ムテキギアスーツ, Muteki Gia Sūtsu): The golden bodysuit. By assisting and strengthening the wearer's movements, tremendous physical abilities can be brought out. Adjustments have been made based on past combat data, and the reaction speed has been increased to match Ex-Aid's skill.
  • EX Complete Arms (EXコンプリートアーム, EX Konpurīto Āmu): The arms. It's attack performance has been enhanced to its limits, allowing Ex-Aid to continually execute powerful high-speed attacks that are almost invisible. Its ability is so high that it's basic performance is comparable to a normal Rider utilising energy items.
  • Victory Fight Gloves (ヴィクトリーファイトグローブ, Vu~ikutorī Faito Gurōbu): The reinforced hands. Any Gashacon weapon held in the hands will have their power and performance increased up to 10 times thanks to data communication. They are equipped with a function that automatically adjusts attacks, allowing Ex-Aid to arbitrarily execute a multi-punch attack.
  • UltiMech Guard (アルティメックガード, Arutimekku Gādo): Star-shaped guard parts located on the arms and legs. Absorbs impact and recoil of attacks and minimize the pressure of impact on the user. It also directs surplus Sparking Glitter particles made by the Hyper Muteki Gashat into the Hyper Ride Hair for storage, preventing self-destruction of the user's body due to particle overflow.
  • EX Complete Legs (EXコンプリートレッグ, EX Konpurīto Reggu): The legs. It's attack performance has been enhanced to its limits, allowing Ex-Aid to continually execute powerful high-speed attacks that are "almost" invisible. Its ability is so high that it's basic performance is comparable to a normal Rider utilising energy items.
  • Victory Fight Shoes (ヴィクトリーファイトシューズ, Vu~ikutorī Faito Shūzu): The feet. They enable acrobatic movements such as gliding jumps, time the fall rate of jumps and other manoeuvres thanks to air injection technology. They are equipped with a function that automatically adjusts attacks, allowing Ex-Aid to arbitrarily execute a multi-kick attack.

This form has three finishers:

  • Hyper Muteki Gashat finisher:
    • Hyper Critical Sparking (ハイパークリティカルスパーキング, Haipā Kuritikaru Supākingu): Unlike any other Gashat, this form's finisher is activated by pressing the star button on top of the Gashat to start the finisher standby before pressing it again to activate the finisher. This finisher takes effect after a few seconds, and can even damage someone using an Iron-Body Energy Item. During this finisher, Ex-Aid can disappear and reappear from another direction to fool his target. This finisher has two variations:
      • Rider Kick: Ex-Aid performs a series of powerful kicks at the enemy covered with multicolored game-energy.
      • Rider Slash: Ex-Aid performs a series of powerful slash attacks covered with a multicolored game-energy with the Gashacon Key Slasher in Blade Mode.
  • Gashacon Key Slasher finisher
    • Maximum Mighty Critical Finish (マキシマムマイティクリティカルフィニッシュ, Makishimamu Maiti Kuritikaru Finisshu):
      • Blade:
      • Axe:
      • Gun: Ex-Aid surrounds himself with yellow energy before shooting the same enemy at the opponent. The shot then traps the enemy in a pink energy ball before it disintegrates. This attack is capable of taking out giant Bugster Unions, and any survivors of this attack are reprogrammed.
    • Doctor Mighty Critical Finish (ドクターマイティクリティカルフィニッシュ, Dokutā Maiti Kuritikaru Finisshu)
      • Blade: Ex-Aid performs a powerful slash attack at the enemy. This attack is capable of depleting Gamedeus' virus.
      • Axe:
      • Gun:

This form's theme song is entitled Time of Victory.

Derivations

Behind the Scenes

Etymology

  • The name Ex-Aid is a portmanteau word from Extreme and Aid. According to Kamen Rider Build in True Ending, he describes Ex-Aid as a Kamen Rider who goes through extreme lengths to provide aid to his patients or in short, "Extreme-Aid".

Notes

  • The "Mighty Jump! Mighty Kick!" portion of his Action Gamer Level 2 transformation announcement may be a reference to the "Rider Jump! Rider Kick!" lyrics of the iconic theme song of the original Kamen Rider series.
  • Ex-Aid lack of a new and unique weapon for his final form continued the trend that began with Gaim Kiwami Arms. His lack of a unique weapon for his super form continued the trend that began with Ghost Grateful Damashii.
  • Ex-Aid's Hyper Muteki is the first gold-colored primary final form since Kiva, and was followed by Grand Zi-O. Wizard Gold Infinity Dragon does not count as it was a movie-exclusive extra final form.

Design/Video Game References

  • Kamen Rider Ex-Aid's design pays homage to typical fighter game characters such as from Street Fighter.
  • The gold "V" that Emu gains on his head as Ex-Aid Level 3 gains on his helmet causes his face to resemble a Mobile Suit Gundam from the franchise of the same name.
  • The design of Ex-Aid Maximum Gamer Level 99 echoes the Robobot Armor introduced in Kirby: Planet Robobot, as both involve the main character piloting a robot mecha enhancement which bears a variation of the main character's facial design on the chest.
  • True to its "Level 99" label, Ex-Aid's Maximum Gamer form has ability parameters which are all related to the number "99", with the obvious exception of his height and weight.
    • Maximum Gamer's height and weight are instead likely a reference to the hexadecimal numbering system utilized by many 8- and 16-bit video games of the 90s. The maximum decimal value of a two-digit hexadecimal number is 255 (FF in hexadecimal); oftentimes, games started hexadecimal counts at 1 instead of 0 (as no value of 0 was expected for the given field), leading to the maximum value of any given stat being 256.
    • Similar to Maximum Gamer's relation to the number 99, the ability parameters of Muteki Gamer are all related to the number "128". This number is the maximum life points can be reached in first Super Mario Bros., also the largest value of 8-bit in binary.
  • The ability parameters of Pac Action Gamer, alongside with Famista and Xevious, are playing a Goroawase pun of Namco: 7 (, Na), 6 (, Mu), 5 (, Go), and 5 is pronounced as voiced sound of Ko ().
  • Ex-Aid's transformation into Muteki Gamer after jumping out of the Maximum Gamer appears to be very reminiscent of Saint Seiya and Super Sonic transformations.
  • Muteki Gamer's gold color scheme and rainbow-colored eyes could be a reference to how certain characters become either gold or rainbow-colored when invincible. Like how Sonic turns gold as Super Sonic, and Mario starts flashing multiple colors or is rainbow-colored when he becomes Invincible Mario or Rainbow Mario respectively as some examples.
