- For the original version of this character, see Evolto.
- "I am Kamen Rider Evol-X. From now on, be aware of this...! (俺は仮面ライダーエボルX。以後、お見知りおきを…!, Ore wa Kamen Raidā Eboru Ekkusu. Igo, o mishiri-oki o…!)"
- ―Evol-X's introduction[src]
This Evolto (エボルト, Eboruto) is a clone of the original created by Foundation X. He can transform into Kamen Rider Evol-X (仮面ライダーエボルX, Kamen Raidā Eboru Ekkusu).
History[]
Background[]
As a part of Project Outsiders, the Foundation X member Ecole created a clone of Evolto by using his DNA sample remaining on Earth.
Ecole's Plan[]
- "If your goal is about money, then you wouldn't need to sacrifice as many humans anymore. Isn't that right? (本当に金だけが目的なら、人類を犠牲にする必要はないはずだ。そうだろう?, Honto ni kane dake ga mokuteki nara, jinrui o gisei ni suru hitsuyō wa nai hazu da, sō darō?)"
- ―The Evolto clone reveals Ecole's true agenda of sacrificing humanity.[src]
As Kamen Rider Evol-X, Evolto appears in front of Yuto Sakurai after the latter was defeated by Kamen Rider Zero-Three, and saved him by teleporting away.
Afterwards, back at Foundation X's basement, Evolto read the information related to Project Outsiders and raised questions, asking why a large population should be wiped out if the project was just for money, which triggered a dispute between Ecole and Joseph Rando. Feeling Joseph is useless to his plan, Ecole asked Evolto to possess Joseph's body.
After Kamen Rider Zero-Three defeated Kamen Rider Zein once again, and completely freed Yuto from Zein's control, with Joseph's physical body, Evolto also came to the battlefield, denied Gai Amatsu's statement that Project Outsiders had ended, and knock the opponent to the ground, transformed into Evol-X, snatched the Dimension Zein Card from Yuto and gave it to Ecole. This move successfully allowed Ecole to gain the ability to transform into Zein and reset the current dimension. After Yuto used the ZeroLiner to retreat, Evol-X also teleported Zein away through the wormhole. After the Dimension Zein Card's ability was demonstrated, they officially announced the end of Project Outsiders and blew up the building where their previous base was located. [ep.6 Love & Peace and the Dimension's Savior]
New Desire Royale[]
Because of Ziin are going to hold a new Desire Royale game to eliminate Evolto and Zein, Evolto and Ecole rush to the Desire Temple and transform into Kamen Riders to fight. Ziingazer then transport them to the place for the final battle, and Evol-X chooses Ziingazer as his opponent. However, in front of the Outsiders members who keep coming to assist Thousand Ark, Juuga and Ziingazer, Zein is quickly defeated by Outsiders.
After realizing his creator could not win anymore, Evol X sighed helplessly before continued battling Ziingazer. However, Evol-X stood no chance against Ziingazer using the power of the Magnum Buckle. He was utterly defeated by Ziingazer and destroyed in an explosion. [Ep.7 Outsiders and the Desire Royale]
Personality[]
The Evolto clone's personality is very close to his original counterpart; however, unlike Evolto, this clone showed no intention of destroying the planet, and showed some loyalty to its creator, Ecole, sharing his ideals to eliminate all humanity in the name of "justice". However, he is also shown to be absent-minded in one occasion, as it took him a brief moment to realize Ziin intends to fully defeat him once Zeronos turned the tides against Zein, leading to his demise.
Powers and Abilities[]
Powers[]
- Possession: Just like the original version, this clone of Evolto can possess any living being. Unlike the original, clone Evolto's possession appears to be extremely painful.
- Superhuman Speed: Evolto is shown to be able to move at speeds faster than the human eye. He demonstrates this ability by moving in front of Yuto Sakurai, knocks him out and steals the Dimension Zein Card from him.
- Teleportation: Like his Original, Evolto-X can transport himself to many locations as shown when he transports himself alongside the Alternate Yuto and Ecole to get away from the heroes in two instances.

Behind the Scenes[]
Portrayal[]
This Evolto clone is voiced by Tetsuo Kanao (金尾 哲夫, Kanao Tetsuo), who also voices the original version of the character. While possessing others, the physical body is portrayed by that respective actor while retaining Kanao's voice at Evolto's discretion.
- While possessing Joseph Rando, he is portrayed by Hiromu Takahashi (高橋 ヒロム, Takahashi Hiromu).
Etymology[]
- "Evolto" and "Evol" are both taken from the English words "evolution" and "revolt".
Trivia[]
- Considering Evolto's original abilities with his cells, it is unclear if Clone Evolto also shares a part of his mind. Clone Evolto notably muses about Earth's changes during his "absence" and humanity being interesting during his debut, although it could be a ruse to trick the viewers.
- Evol-X's catchphrase after transformation, is a reference to Takumi Katsuragi's catchphrase: "Please keep that in mind from now on." (以後、お見知り置きを, Igo, o mishiri oki o)"
