The Demon King (魔王, Ma Ō) is the ruler of 2018 that Kohtaro Minami encountered in the final chapters of the Kamen Rider Black manga.
History[]
Upon arriving the apocalyptic future, Kohtaro Minami encountered the Demon King, the ruler of a world left desolate by mankind's extinction. He was situated in Devil's Rock, Australia and addressed as "Your Excellency" by his subordinates. The Demon King assumed the form of a grasshopper-human hybrid, resembling Kotaro and Nobuhiko after their transformations but draped in a cloak.
During their meeting, the Demon King showcased his formidable power to Kohtaro. and proposed cooperation to govern the evolving world. However, Kotaro declined and this led to a confrontation involving the "Philosopher's Stone," where the ruler's strength, intensified by 30 years, surpassed Kotaro's abilities. Kotaro suspected the Demon King to be Nobuhiko Akizuki, recognizing him by the voice. Although the Demon King seemingly denied this and claimed that Kohtaro would inherit the throne if he were to die, hinting at the possibility of being a future version of Kohtaro himself. Before any further information could be elaborated, the Demon King ends up hurling Kohtaro back to the year 1995.
