Daichi Miura (三浦 大知, Miura Daichi) is a Japanese singer who performed EXCITE, the theme song of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, and Life is Beautiful, the ending theme song of the film Kamen Rider Ex-Aid: True Ending.

Biography[]

When Miura was 10, he formed a group called Folder when he was attending Okinawa Actors School. He left three years later due to his voice changing as a result of puberty. Four years later, he announced his return and would begin releasing music. That following March, he released his debut single Keep It Going' On. Since 2005, he has released five albums and 18 singles.

On August 30, 2016 at the press conference for Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, it was announced that Miura would perform the opening theme song for the show, called EXCITE. The single itself was released in four different editions on January 18, 2017, as announced on Miura's official Avex website. On January 24, 2017, his song EXCITE topped at #1 on the Japanese Oricon Charts. [1]. The music video of the song on the Avex YouTube channel has had over 30 million views as of 2021.

Miura also performed a single Life is Beautiful as the theme song for the Kamen Rider Ex-Aid: True Ending film.

In 2018, Miura released a new hit single titled Blizzard, which was used as the theme song to the Dragon Ball Super: Broly film. The single had both an English and Japanese version.

Personal Life[]

  • On January 1, 2015, he announced his marriage to a non-celebrity. On December 9, 2016, he announced that his son was born.[2]. On October 8, 2019, he announced the birth of his second child.[3]
  • He is childhood friends with ISSA, as they both attended dance school together. [4]
