Daichi Kamijo (上條 大地, Kamijō Daichi) was a member of the Northern Base-branch of the Sword of Logos who saved a young Touma Kamiyama and passed on the title of Kamen Rider Saber (仮面ライダーセイバー, Kamen Raidā Seibā, lit. "Holy Blade") to him. After defeating & slaying Hayato Fukamiya, he took his powers and masqueraded as Kamen Rider Calibur (仮面ライダーカリバー, Kamen Raidā Karibā), hoping to discover the traitor within the Sword of Logos that corrupted his former friend.

History

In Dachi's past, he considered Hayato Fukamiya to be both an ally and friend. They would both spar in their free time.

Becoming Calibur

"Where there is determination, there is hope!"

Daichi uses Kaenken Rekka to destroys a group of Shimis.

Fifteen years prior to the start of the series, he engaged Hayato Fukamiya after the latter had decided to sacrifice Luna for the sake of his "eternal truth". As Luna was sucked into the portal, Daichi went to Touma's side and transferred him to safety, giving him the Brave Dragon Ride Book.

Daichi slays Hayato.

Disheartened by his now former friend's actions, Daichi engaged Hayato in a duel, and discovered that it was the Sword of Logos that corrupted his friend. After slaying him, Daichi became disillusioned of the guild's actions and resigned. He took Kurayami for himself and collaborated with the Megids to uncover the truth that his friend died trying to get, as well as exposing the traitor who manipulated him.

A Chance Rises Again

"The time has come. It is the beginning of a new world."

In the present day, Calibur announced to the Megid generals that the time for them to make a new world has come. He handed the Gansekiou Golem Alter Ride Book to Legeiel and sent him to create the Golem Megid so it can attack the city and complete the book. However, Touma Kamiyama, the boy that Daichi had saved long ago, appeared and destroyed the Megid; this pleased Calibur, as his successor wielded the missing key that he needed for his plan. With a new Saber, he informs the Megid generals that the other swordsmen will arrive soon.

As Calibur, he and his fellow cohorts observed the second Kamen Rider Blades, Rintaro Shindo, joining Saber in the fight against the Ari Megid. Calibur was unperturbed by this disturbance when the two Riders destroyed the Ari and Kirigirisu Megid, simply remarking that the swordsmen had only accelerated his plans.

When Ryo Ogami, Kamen Rider Buster, appeared and destroyed the second Golem Megid, Calibur commented on the swordsman's emergence, knowing fully well that Buster fell for his trick of impersonating Hayato.

After the first few Megid attacks, Calibur decides to finally make his move and appears after Touma and Rintaro defeated the Hanzaki Megid. After overpowering the two swordsmen, he attempts to finish them with the Donkugo Issen, but Kento blocks the attack and sends Calibur away into an isolated floating island in the Wonder World. After releasing Desast from his Alter Ride Book, he attempts to take Touma's sword and his Brave Dragon Wonder Ride Book by fighting him. When both dragon Riders witness a spark between Brave Dragon and Jakku Dragon, Calibur's suspicions about Saber are confirmed to be true; before Calibur said anything further, Espada gets in the way by lunging at him, leaving Saber to deal with the Piranha Megid alone. Espada furiously questioned Calibur about why he betrayed the Sword of Logos, believing him to be his father, only to give nothing but silence; Espada relentlessly attacks him without thinking, all while revealing who he "once was". Just as Calibur was about to finish him, Ryo, as Buster, arrives to deflect the attack and saves Espada. After escaping the battlefield, Calibur confirms that without Brave Dragon and the sword, he cannot reach Avalon. This does not escape the notice of Storious, who decides that it would be in his interest to help him. He then hands the black book to him, only asking him what he intends to do after he gets to Avalon. Upon arriving at Avalon, he greets both Touma and Kento who manages to enter Avalon too, and transformed into Calibur. Calibur ended up facing Kento, whom he easily defeats as Touma manages to enter the location where King of Arthur Wonder Ride Book was sealed.

As Touma successfully gained the power of King of Arthur, Calibur left as he remarks that there's no business of him being here anymore. When Kento asked why he betrayed the Sword of Logos, Calibur vaguely answered that Kento will discover it sooner or later.

When Calibur was absorbing the three power from Saber Crimson Dragon, Blades Fantastic Lion, and Espada Golden Alangina, Storious attacked all four riders from the shadows. After the four riders landed from the explosion, Daichi's transformation was cancelled, revealing his identity to Touma, Rintaro, Daishinji, and Kento. Kento demanded to know what happened to his father and why Daichi has Kurayami, which Daichi declined to answer. An angered Kento and Daichi transformed into Espada and Calibur, only for the latter to attack and cancel Kento's transformation before taking his leave. Daichi then returned to the Megid lair and marveled at the new Jaou Dragon Wonder Ride Book. ^{[Chapter 10: Crossing Swords, and Crossing Feelings.]}

Jaou Dragon's first appearance

After obtaining the Jaou Dragon Wonder Ride Book, Sophia met Daichi, asking him why he has became the Swordman of Darkness, only for him to answer that he abandoned everything to obtain the truth. Their conversation interrupted by Kento, they both proceeded to transform into Calibur and Espada. During the fight, Kento asked what happened to his father, only for Daichi to answer that he killed him, for betraying the Sword of Logos. As Kento claims to do whatever he can to take him down, Daichi decides to do so by using the Jaou Dragon Wonder Ride Book. Being more powerful than before, as Calibur was about to kill Kento, Rintaro intervened and took Calibur's hit, injuring Blades.

Returning to the Megid's base, he is later seen with Kento, surprised that he found out the location of the epicenter of the portal once 6 locations will be erased and replaced by giant books, similar to what happened 15 years ago. As they fight, Kento mentioned Touma, and Daichi realized that Saber is none other than the young child he saved 15 years ago. Proceeding to fight Calibur again, Kento tried to defeat Daichi, only for him to be gravely injured by Jaou Hissatsu Geki.

Later, Daichi prepare to use his own Sacred Sword to open the portal, he is interrupted by Touma and Rintaro, who ask him why he sacrificed many lives, including Kento's, to discover the truth, only for the former to answer that it is the only way to find the truth. As they begin to fight, Daichi and Touma fight, with the latter emerging victorious as he gains the Dragonic Knight Wonder Ride Book. However, Daichi survived his defeat and, as Desast was about to take the Ankokuken Kurayami, reappeared before him, as Calibur Jaou Dragon.

Much to Touma and his allies' surprise, he still intent to fufill his plans. When Daichi went to obtain the Table of Revelation through the portal, Touma interrupted him and they went to the Wonder World. Then, Daichi slayed Touma, but didn't expected to return from the darkness, unlike Kento. Realizing his willpower, Daichi finally revealed the truth to Touma about the incident 15 years ago. As he fight Touma, he tells him that he needed the power to both discover the real enemy inside the guild and defeat them. Although Daichi lost to Touma, he realized his mistake and Touma's resolve to decide the end of the story, no matter if it was written, he begged Touma to find the truth in his stead, to find "the one who betrayed the organization, confident that he will able to uncover the truth and finding Luna.

Daichi's death

As Daichi warned Touma about this dangerous path, which includes sacrificing the others and his allies, he was killed by Desast, who retrieved his Alter Ride Book, claiming that he is finally free from Daichi. During his last breath, Daichi entrusts Ankokuken Kurayami to Touma, before dying from his injuries.

Legacy

Although Daichi sought to discover the one who actually corrupted Hayato by claiming to have used his powers for noble reasons, Touma wasn't ever able to forgive him for his sins due to the fact that he had to betray his guild and hurt innocent people just to receive the truth.

However, Touma was able to agree with Daichi regarding the possibility that there is a traitor in the Sword of Logos, but unfortunately, even Touma's allies were no longer able to trust the current Flame Swordsman due to the possible chain of betrayal that had affected Hayato & Daichi, which may repeat again with Touma, leading to the latter to leave the Sword of Logos.

However, Legiel claims to Touma that Daichi was another pawn of Megid's plan.

Initially, Daichi demonstrated the desire to protect the world from evil, which was inherited by his successor Touma Kamiyama. However, after realizing that there was a traitor within the Sword of Logos, he became disillusioned and decided to take the burden of finding the truth on himself, abandoning his comrades in the process. He began to believe that the current world was artificially created and destined to end. As a result, he became more brutal and cold-blooded, willing to sacrifice innocent people to achieve his goals, which included Kento, the son of his late friend.

Jaaku Dragon (ジャアクドラゴン, Jaaku Doragon) is Calibur's dragon-based primary form accessed by using the Jaaku Dragon Wonder Ride Book in the Jaken Caliburdriver.

Calibur has the highest stats out of all the riders in the series. His running speed is higher than most of the riders (only second to Kenzan), and his punching and kicking power is higher than Buster's.

Jaaku Dragon consists of the following parts:

• Calibur Helm Jaaku Dragon (カリバーヘルム ジャアクドラゴン, Karibā Herumu Jaaku Doragon): The helmet.
  • Sword Crown (ソードクラウン, Sōdo Kuraun): The blade on the forehead. It is installed on the top of the head as a proof of being selected by the Jaken. It has the role of adjusting the state of Kamen Rider Calibur and the Jaken, and adjusts the power balance between them and cancels transformation in an emergency. It is also a blade with a sharp edge, and can also be used in battle.
  • Jaaku Scale (ジャアクスケイル, Jaaku Sukeiru): The right mask on the helmet. Inheriting the sensing ability of the God Beast "Jaaku Dragon", the sense of the transformant has been sharpened.
  • Jaaku Dragon Mask (ジャアクドラゴンマスク, Jaaku Doragon Masuku): The center mask. With the power of the Jaaku Dragon Wonder Ride Book, you gain the ability to see in the dark.
  • Silhouette Visor (シルエットバイザー, Shiruetto Baizā): The sealed visor. It allows the user to find light from the bottom of the darkness.
• Sword Robe (ソードローブ, Sōdo Rōbu): The suit granted by the user of the Jaken Ankokuken Kurayami. It is attached at the same time as the awakening of the Jaken, and gives the user the power to fight such as improving sword skills, strengthening physical abilities, and activating special abilities. This form is based on the power of the Jaaku Dragon Wonder Ride Book.
• Jaaku Dragon Bauld (ジャアクドラゴンボールド, Jaaku Doragon Bōrudo, Plays on words “Jaaku Dragon Pauldron”): The right shoulder. It possesses the power of the God Beast "Jaaku Dragon" and brings overwhelming fighting power by supplying the power of darkness at the request of the user.
• Vol Cuirass (ボルキュイラス, Borukyuirasu): Armor for the chest and left shoulder.  The armor possesses the aura of the God Beast "Jaaku Dragon". In addition, the alloy is made from the metal used to forge the Seiken is used, making it difficult to destroy with the Seiken.
• Ride Jaaku Arm (ライドジャアクアーム, Raido Jaaku Āmu): The arms. It possesses the power of the God Beast "Jaaku Dragon" and brings the strength to exert destructive power like a demon.
• Jaaku Gaunt (ジャアクガント, Jaaku Ganto, Play on words “Jaaku Gauntlet”): The gauntlets. By cutting the shadow of the target with a sharp claw, it causes great damage to the body. In addition, it brings the power to manipulate dark energy freely, and enables the release of the Jaaku Dragon encased in dark energy.
• Jaaku Mai Scale (ジャアクメイスケイル, Jaaku Meisukeiru, short for “Jaaku Mail Scale”): The black exterior on the suit.  The armor is made with a series of hard scales can minimize the attacks received.
• Ride Jaaku Leg (ライドジャアクレッグ, Raido Jaaku Reggu): The legs. It possesses the power of the God Beast "Jaaku Dragon" and brings leg strength that exerts destructive power like a demon.
• Jaaku Sole (ジャアクソール, Jaaku Sōru): The feet. By stepping on the shadow of the object, it binds to the darkness and suppresses its actions. Also, when the Special Move is activated, the destructive power of the kick is greatly increased when an energy silhouette of the Jaaku Dragon is formed.

This form has two finishers:

• Kurayami Iai (月闇居合, Kurayami Iai Lit. "Moon Darkness Iai"): Calibur performs a slash enhanced by dark energy.
• Kurayami Hissatsu Geki (月闇必殺撃, Kurayami Hissatsu Geki Lit. "Moon Darkness Finishing Strike"): Calibur scans a Wonder Ride Book against the base of the blade, and performs an attack based off of it.
  • Shutoku Issen (習得一閃, Shūtoku Issen, Lit. "Learning Single Flash"):
    • Jaaku Dragon: Has three variations.
      • Calibur charges the Ankokuken Kurayami with dark energy before he delivers two slashes to the enemy, after breaking through enemy's finishing attack, the energy of two slashes will combine into an X-shaped slash and strike the target.
      • Calibur charges the Ankokuken Kurayami with dark energy before he shoots out a burning apparition of a dragon, that charges towards the enemy.
      • Calibur charges the Ankokuken Kurayami with dark energy before he shoots out a group of black dragons that homing at enemies and restrains them.
    • Saiyuu Journey: Has two variations.
      • Calibur extended the Ankokuken Kurayami like Sun Wukong's Ruyi Jingu Bang with red energy before he delivers three slashes to enemy.
      • Calibur forms a dark cloud resembling Sun Wukong's Flying Nimbus to protect himself from the enemy's attacks.
    • Tenkuu no Pegasus: Calibur charges the Ankokuken Kurayami with navy blue energy before delivering a series of slashes that send navy blue energy feathers flying everywhere.
  • Shutoku Sansen (習得三閃, Shūtoku Sansen, Lit. "Learning Triple Flash"): Calibur scans one or more Wonder Ride Books 3 times and performs an attack based off of them.
    • Jaaku Dragon: Calibur charges the Ankokuken Kurayami with dark energy before he delivers a powerful slash.

Jaou Dragon (ジャオウドラゴン, Jaou Doragon) is Calibur's dragon-based upgrade form accessed by using the Jaou Dragon Wonder Ride Book in the Jaken Caliburdriver.

In this form, Calibur far surpasses all forms appeared as of its debut, even outperforming a Wonder Combo form. This form also grants levitation abilities and he also gains the ability to transform into a ball of dark miasma.

Jaou Dragon consists of the following parts:

• Calibur Helm Jaou Dragon (カリバーヘルム ジャオウドラゴン, Karibā Herumu Jaou Doragon): The helmet.
  • Sword Crown (ソードクラウン, Sōdo Kuraun)
  • Jaou Dragon Mask (ジャオウドラゴンマスク, Jaou Doragon Masuku): The central mask. It possesses the power of the Jaou Dragon Wonder Ride Book, allowing the user to create and control dragons at will.
  • Miasma Eyesor (ミアズマアイザー, Miazumaaizā): The visor. It allows the user to see through the eyes of the dragons it manifested. In addition, the same visibility as usual is secured even in the jet-black darkness.
• Sword Robe (ソードローブ, Sōdo Rōbu): The suit granted by the user of the Jaken Ankokuken Kurayami. It is attached at the same time as the awakening of the Jaken, and gives the user the power to fight such as improving sword skills, strengthening physical abilities, and activating special abilities. This form is based on the power of the Jaou Dragon Wonder Ride Book.
• Jaou Dragon Cuirass (ジャオウドラゴンキュイラス, Jaou Doragon Kyuirasu): Armor extending over the chest and shoulders. It possesses the power of the new God Beast "Jaou Dragon", which was created as a reigning existence at the top of many evil dragons, and supplies the user with enhanced darkness power and bringing overwhelming combat power.
• Jaou Mantle (ジャオウマント, Jaou Mantou): The cape. Grants the user to power of flight by emitting an aura of darkness. Also, by wrapping the whole body with an aura, it can be completely blended into the darkness.
• Altered Jaou Arm (アルタードジャオウアーム, Arutādo Jaou Āmu): The arms. They has the destructive power of the God Beast "Jaou Dragon". In addition, it is equipped with armor with hard scales, and it is possible to minimize the attacks received.
• Jaou Gaunt (ジャオウガント, Jaou Ganto, Play on words “Jaou Gauntlet”): The gauntlets. By cutting the shadow of the target with a sharp claw, it causes great damage to the main body. In addition, it brings the power to freely manipulate the darkness and enables the release of the God Beast "Jaou Dragon".
• Altered Jaou Leg (アルタードジャオウレッグ, Arutādo Jaou Reggu): The legs. It possesses the power of the God Beast "Jaou Dragon" and to bring enhanced leg strength that can crush everything to ashes.

• Kurayami Hissatsu Geki (月闇必殺撃, Kurayami Hissatsu Geki Lit. "Moon Darkness Finishing Strike"): Calibur scans a Wonder Ride Book against the base of the blade, and performs an attack based off of it.

    • Jaou Dragon: Has two variations.

Brave Dragon (ブレイブドラゴン, Bureibu Doragon) is Saber's dragon-based primary form accessed by using the Brave Dragon Wonder Ride Book in the Seiken Swordriver.

Saber mainly used his sword for attacks, and does not rely on punches and kicks, therefore his punching power and kicking power are quite low.

Brave Dragon consists of the following parts:

• Saber Helm Brave Dragon (セイバーヘルム ブレイブドラゴン, Seibā Herumu Bureibu Doragon): The helmet.
  • Sword Crown (ソードクラウン, Sōdo Kuraun): The blade on the forehead. It is installed on the top of the head as a proof of being selected by a Seiken. It has the role of adjusting the state of Kamen Rider Saber and the Seiken, and adjusts the power balance between them and cancels transformation in an emergency.   • Mid Mask (ミッドマスク, Middo Masuku): The center mask. It has the property of enhancing the physical ability of the user, and by exerting the power of the Wonder Ride Book contained in the midshelf of the Seiken Swordriver, it exerts various abilities. It is said to be particularly compatible with animal-based Wonder Ride Books.
  • Cross Flame Visor (クロスフレイムバイザー, Kurosu Fureimu Baizā): The "X"-style visor. Even in a burning flame, the user can catch the target and never miss it.
  • Left Mask (レフトマスク, Refuto Masuku): The left mask on the helmet. It has a characteristic that strongly affects the activation of special abilities by the user, and exerts various abilities by putting the power of the Wonder Ride Book contained in the left shelf of the Seiken Swordriver. It is said to be particularly compatible with the story-based Wonder Ride Book.
• Sword Robe (ソードローブ, Sōdo Rōbu): The suit granted by the user of the Seiken "Kaenken Rekka". It is attached at the same time as the awakening of the Seiken, and gives the user the power to fight such as improving sword skills, strengthening physical abilities, and activating special abilities. This characteristic is assigned to the right half of the body, which is based on the God Beast "Brave Dragon", the center of the body, and the left half of the body.
• Brave Dragon Bauld (ブレイブドラゴンボールド, Bureibu Doragon Bōrudo, play on words "Brave Dragon Pauldron"): The right shoulder. It has the power of the God Beast, "Brave Dragon", and uses the courage of the user to bring forth the dragon's mighty power.
• Burn Gaunt (バーンガント, Bān Ganto, short for "Burn Gauntlet"): The right arm. Bringing the right arm of the “Ride Arm” to red heat gives the power to control the flame freely, enabling the release of the Brave Dragon that has turned into a flame. In addition, it becomes one with the horrible flames of the Seiken "Kaenken Rekka", and doubles the sharpness of the sword skill of the flame attribute.
• Mai Scale (メイスケイル, Meisukeiru, short for "Mail Scale"): The right half of the suit. It is made of a series of flame-attributed hard scales, preventing any evil attacks. There is only one scale that grows upside down somewhere, and if you touch it, it will awaken the fierce anger of the Brave Dragon.
• Ride Mid (ライドミッド, Raido Middo): The center portion of the suit. It has the property of enhancing the physical ability of a transformer, and by exerting the power of the Wonder Ride Book contained in the midshelf of the Seiken Swordriver, it exerts various abilities. It is said to be particularly compatible with animal-based Wonder Ridebooks.
• Ride Leg (ライドレッグ, Raido Reggu): The legs and feet of the suit. Due to the characteristics of the "Ride Mid" in the central part of the armor "Sword Robe", overall leg strength such as running power, jumping power and kicking power has been greatly enhanced. In addition, when the special move is activated, the destructive power of the kick is greatly increased as the leg is ignited in flames.
• Ride Left (ライドレフト, Raido Refuto): The left half of the suit. It has a characteristic that strongly affects the activation of special abilities by the users, and exerts various abilities by putting the power of the Wonder Ride Book contained in the left shelf of the Seiken Swordriver. It is said to be particularly compatible with the story-based Wonder Ride Book.
• Ride Arm (ライドアーム, Raido Āmu): The left arm. The exterior of the armor "Sword Robe" is laminated armor called "Page Armor" (ページアーマー, Pēji Āmā), which is formed by stacking trained plate armor in multiple layers. As a result, it has acquired strong defense and the flexibility to follow various actions.

• Touma Kamiyama/Kamen Rider Saber: His successor & whom he saved 15 years ago. However, as Calibur, they had become enemies, as he tries to steal his powers for his plans. Upon Touma successfully gaining & mastering the power of the King of Arthur Wonder Ride Book, Calibur deems him as a major threat. Daichi later revealed that it was never his intention to pass down Saber's powers to Touma, and threatened to kill him should he stand in the way of his plans. After being defeated, Daichi realized his errors and asked Touma to uncover the truth and find the culprit who manipulated Hayato.

• Hayato Fukamiya/Previous Kamen Rider Calibur: A former comrade of Daichi's who took his sword becoming the new Calibur after Daichi knew that Hayato become corrupted by The Sword of Logos who want him to sacrifice Luna.
• Kento Fukamiya/Kamen Rider Espada: He doesn't seem to have a relationship with Kento, but he sees him as a threat to his plans. Kento always thought that the new Calibur was Hayato, though this was ultimately proven to be false as Kento keep trying to find answer from Daichi about the moment that the latter kill Kento's father who become corrupted and want to sacrifice Luna.
• Rintaro Shindo/Kamen Rider Blades: Calibur sees him as an enemy seeing that he gets in his way when Rintaro tries to protect Touma.
• Ryo Ogami/Kamen Rider Buster: Ryo tried to find out about the betrayal without knowing that his old friend Hayato Fukamiya was not the current Calibur.
• Sophia: Both had a close relationship, upon discovering that it was not Hayato who betrayed the Sword of Logos, Daichi as Calibur tried to attack her, fortunately Ryo manages to save her.
• Tetsuo Daishinji/Kamen Rider Slash: One of the members of the Sword of Logos. They became enemies after Daichi's betrayal.
• Desast: His ally and companion; Daichi released him after 15 years of being imprisoned. He later betrayed him by killing him off-guard.

Portrayal

Daichi Kamijo is portrayed by Hiroyuki Hirayama (平山浩行, Hirayama Hiroyuki). As Kamen Rider Calibur, his suit actor is Kenji Tominaga (富永 研司, Tominaga Kenji).

Etymology

• As with the naming scheme of all the Saber Riders, Calibur is named after Excalibur, a legendary holy sword most famously wielded by King Arthur.

• It has been foreshadowed throughout the series that the current Kamen Rider Calibur wasn't Hayato Fukamiya, but actually Daichi Kamijo the entire time:
  • This Calibur used a vocal modulator to disguise his voice, a similar practice used by Kuroto Dan in Ex-Aid & Gentoku Himuro in Build. Although Hayato was name dropped episode 5, Calibur continues to disguise his voice. Furthermore, this Calibur never acknowledged or explicitly referred himself to be Hayato even after the revelation.
  • Production-wise, Hirayama is uncredited during his out-of-suit appearances with his actual face obscured and voice still disguised. In these appearances, he sports a shorter hair style and wears a business suit instead of the standard SoL uniform.
    • He has a photo of Hayato, Sophia, and himself together, before closing the fold on the shot of himself, foreshadowing his true identity.
  • In most of Kento Fukamiya's interactions with this Calibur, the latter would end up ignoring and violently pushing away Hayato's son, instead being fixated on Touma Kamiyama instead.
  • The teaser for episode 10 would reveal the characters at shock upon realizing this Calibur is not Hayato. The aforementioned episode would reveal Daichi as the identity of the second Calibur.
  • This Calibur was the first owner of Saiyuu Journey Wonder Ride Book, one of the three Wonder Ride Books that are compatible with Kaenken Rekka.
• After his true identity is revealed, Calibur is the second Rider in the series whose first official onscreen transformation does not use the typical CGI background or effects of the series, instead going straight to its shortened version, the first being Kenzan.
  • Even before his identity is revealed, Calibur still does not use the CGI background or effects during his transformation.
• Kamen Rider Calibur has some similarities with Kamen Rider Ryuga:
  • Both of them are the dragon-themed dark counterparts of their respective main heroes.
  • Both Calibur and Ryuga also have dark versions of their respective season's protagonist's powers. (Jaaku Dragon Wonder Ride Book and Dragblacker).
• The visor of Calibur Jaou Dragon's helmet is quite similar to that of Kamen Rider Cross-Z, another Rider with a dragon as his motif.
  • As a product of multiple Wonder Ride Books, Jaou Dragon's transformation page is the first to highlight (indirectly) the helmet/visor, as opposed to the arms or chest. This would followed by Saber Emotional Dragon's transformation page.
• As Calibur, Daichi is similar to Demonic General of Betrayal Galza from Mashin Sentai Kiramager, Saber's current Super Hero Time partner, as they betrayed the hero factions and instead joined with their respective show's villainous factions as one of their generals. However, unlike Galza who joined for pure selfish wish, Daichi has a hidden noble reason for his villainous actions.
• Daichi is the only rider of the show to not pronounce his finisher.
