This article is about a Rider team in Kamen Rider Revice and Kamen Rider Saber. |
- "The time has finally come, go! Kamen Riders! (ついにこの時が来た、行け! 仮面ライダー!, Tsuini kono toki ga kita, ike! Kamen Raidā!)"
- ―George Karizaki to the Clone Rider team.
This unnamed team utilizing George's special Clone Rider (クローンライダー, Kurōn Raidā) system to access the powers of any Rider from the last 50 years since 2021 appears exclusively in Kamen Rider: Beyond Generations. They are a group of six individuals affiliated with both the Sword of Logos and Fenix who time-traveled from 2021 to 2071 to help an elderly George Karizaki protect Ryunosuke Momose's physical body from the Devil Rider Corps. Although each of the six members are Kamen Riders in their own right, they were unable to utilize their own powers due to the temporal transfer transmitting only their consciousness to the future and not their physical bodies.
History[]
In the dystopian timeline of the year 2071 where Diablo had successfully conquered the world, an elderly George Karizaki developed the Clone Rider system based upon years of research on the Kamen Riders. George is able to control the system via a unique tablet, where he is able to assign armors of various Kamen Riders of his choice to specific users, transforming them into the chosen Kamen Riders themselves.
In order to protect Ryunosuke Momose's physical body from the rampaging forces of Diablo's army, a team of six Kamen Riders consisting of Touma Kamiyama, Rintaro Shindo, Yuri, Vice, Daiji Igarashi and Sakura Igarashi, time-travelled to the year 2071 using the Cyclotron Driver. However, with the exception of Yuri and Vice whose unique physiologies enabled their bodies to be completely transported to the future, the four human Riders were not able to physically fight against the Devil Rider Corps, as only their mental consciousnesses were transported to the future. To get around this, George was able to put his Clone Rider system to use, allowing the six Riders to transform into physical Rider forms to fight.
When Ryunosuke reconciled with his son, Hideo Momose, and the two synchronized with each other to transform into the complete Kamen Rider Century, the Cyclotron Driver was able to transport the six Riders back to the year 2021, reuniting them with their own physical bodies. Ryunosuke's body was also assimilated into Century in the present day.
Members[]
Touma Kamiyama[]
Touma is a novelist and Kamen Rider Saber. Although he had retired from active duty following the defeat of Storious, he was called into action once again as Diablos began threatening the Sword of Logos, and was one of the candidates chosen to defend Century's body from the Devil Rider Corps, having become Kamen Riders Accel, Super-1, and 1 using George's Clone Rider system.
Rintaro Shindo[]
Rintaro is a swordsman and Kamen Rider Blades. After Storious' defeat, he joined the Sword of Logos' administrative team to reform the organization after Master Logo's corruption of it. He was one of the candidates chosen to defend Century's body from the Devil Rider Corps, having become Kamen Riders Blade, ZO, and Kuuga using George's Clone Rider system.
Yuri[]
Yuri is a swordsman and Kamen Rider Saikou. After Storious' defeat, he briefly vanished until Touma restored him to life. He was one of the candidates chosen to defend Century's body from the Devil Rider Corps, having become Kamen Riders Ex-Aid Muteki Gamer, Agito, and Zero-One using George's Clone Rider system.
Daiji Igarashi[]
Daiji is a member of Fenix and Kamen Rider Live. On George's orders, Daiji arrived at the abandoned Shocker hideout to confirm that Diablo's stamp was truly stolen by the Deadmans. He was one of the candidates chosen to defend Century's body from the Devil Rider Corps, having become Kamen Riders Knight, Meteor, and Ryugen using George's Clone Rider system.
Sakura Igarashi[]
Sakura is a high-schooler and Kamen Rider Jeanne. She was one of the candidates chosen to defend Century's body from the Devil Rider Corps, having become Kamen Riders Valkyrie, Nadeshiko, and Poppy using George's Clone Rider system.
Vice[]
Vice is Ikki's inner demon and also his own eponymous Rider. Although Ikki decided to stay behind and fight Diablo solo in present-day, he allowed Vice to join the others in the past and defend Century's body from the Devil Rider Corps, with Vice having assumed the forms of Kamen Riders Black RX, Fourze, and Woz using George's Clone Rider system.
Rider Roster[]
These Riders were seen on George's tablet but were not selected.
Notes[]
- The Clone Rider system's stasis tanks are first seen in the opening scene of Kamen Rider Revice: The Movie during the attack on Fenix's genetics laboratory.
- During the montage of Kamen Rider Revice's opening, George Karizaki can be seen in his lab with what appear to be Kamen Rider-like humanoids resembling Black, 1, and Kuuga in stasis tanks, foreshadowing the Clone Riders used in the film.
- Each of the Riders chosen for the Clone Riders' transformations have a common characteristic for each roster:[1]
- The first roster features Riders which share a common accent color and/or motif as the user's main Rider identity.
- Touma: Red (Saber/Accel).
- Rintaro: Blue (Blades/Blade). Both also have a sword motif and have similar names.
- Yuri: Gold and shining motif (Saikou/Ex-Aid).
- Daiji: Bat motif (Live/Knight).
- Sakura: Orange (Jeanne/Valkyrie).
- Vice: Black (Vice/Black RX).
- The second roster features Riders from past anniversary series.
- Super-1's series aired during the 10th anniversary.
- ZO's film commemorates the 20th anniversary, despite having been released a few years after.
- Agito's series aired during the 30th anniversary.
- Fourze, Meteor, and Nadeshiko all originated from the 40th anniversary.
- The third roster contains Rider 1, Kuuga, and Zero-One, the first Riders of each of their respective eras (Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa). In addition, George Karizaki's notes as listed in the movie pamphlet for Kamen Rider: Beyond Generations explain the following:
- Daiji turning into Ryugen is a reference to the similarities between himself and Mitsuzane Kureshima as being the "younger brother who had fallen into darkness".
- Vice turning into Woz is a reference to both himself and Woz being able to break the fourth wall and communicate with the audience.
- The first roster features Riders which share a common accent color and/or motif as the user's main Rider identity.
- The actors of the characters in the team had worn the suits of their transforming Rider while filming.
