The Cicada Fangire (シケーダファンガイア, Shikēda Fangaia), whose true name was The Dressing Table Grieving the Half Brother's Strange Attitude (異母兄の衒奇を憂う化粧台, Ibokei no Genki o Ureu Keshōdai), was a member of the Insect Class. He was equipped with a blade on each wrist.
History[]
Appearing in 1986, the Cicada Fangire observed that Maya was not performing her duties as Queen and decided to kill the artist Tanahashi, who was distracting her. The Cicada Fangire was originally destroyed by Ixa's Broken Fang, resulting in Tanahashi being injured swearing to get revenge on the Fangire Hunters.
However, Keisuke Nago travels back in time and stops the Cicada Fangire from being destroyed prevent the Fangire Hunters from being arrested at Tanahashi's request in the present. Appearing alive in 2008 to aid the Crab Fangire, the Cicada Fangire was destroyed again by Rising Ixa.

- The Cicada Fangire's hidden bird motif is a woodpecker. Two woodpeckers can be seen on the Fangire's head, with their beaks meeting above it.
