Child of the Sun! RX (太陽の子だ！RX, Taiyō no Ko da! Āru Ekkusu) is the first episode of Kamen Rider Black RX.

Synopsis

Some time after the defeat of Gorgom, Kotaro Minami attempts to create a new life for himself in peace. But when the Crisis Empire arrives to conquer Earth, they come prepared to deal with the hero; forcing him to awaken a new power to face this new threat.

• This episode aired alongside Sekaininjasen Jiraiya episode 40, Sorrowful Jannu.
• Footage from the then upcoming premiere of Black RX was featured in the TV special Kamen Rider 1 Through RX: Big Gathering, which was broadcast a week prior.
• Shigeru was seen reading a manga adaptation of Kamen Rider Black.
• A McDonald's sign is visible on the far left side of building Shigeru, Saburo and Kengo visit as Shigeru watches the Skull Ma steal their bikes. The fast food chain would later become a sponsor of both Kamen Rider and the Super Sentai Series following their union in the Super Hero Time block.
