Chic (シック,Shikku) is the inner demon of Masumi Karizaki before getting transferred to George Karizaki. He was released from Karizaki's body after a failed attempt to transform with the Chimera Driver. He then stole the Driver and manipulated Masato Sotoumi to recruit people for testing it, before taking over doctor's body and joining forces with the newly returned Azuma.
Chic was the inner demon born from Masumi Karizaki. However, Masumi later transferred Chic into the body of his son, George.
After George learned of this fact from Masumi in the present, he got engrossed in his research, causing him to be absent during his father's last moments. Influenced by Chic, he then became even more obsessed, refusing to sleep and disregarding the battle with Giff. Eventually, he created the Chimera Driver.
Birth of Chimera[]
When George attempted to transform with the Chimera Driver in order to test it, he instead accidentally released Chic, who then picked up the Driver. George attempted to hide Giff's eyes from him, but he was already aware of them and offered to use them to create an army of immortal Kamen Riders. George retorted that the demon did not know anything about him and attempted to escape with the eyes. However, Chic catched him and managed to take one of the eyes, while the other remained with George. Chic then took his leave.
Chic later ambushed Masato Sotoumi and put him under his control. Sotoumi then began requesting volunteers for testing the Chimera Driver, which he advertised as a new experimental drug that activated parts of one's genes in order to strengthen the body.
When Azuma confronted Sotoumi, Chic arrived and possessed the doctor's body. He addressed Azuma and said that he learned about him from Akaishi's leftover data. Chic told Azuma that he agreed with his view on humanity and explained that he could regain his immortality by using Giff's eye in the Chimera Driver. Azuma and the rest of the group left to find the Otani family and attacked them in order to lure out Ryu. After defeating Ryu and taking the Chimera Driver, Azuma handed it to Chic so that he could install Giff's eye. Azuma then used the Driver to transform into Kamen Rider Daimon. After Daimon destroyed Ryu, who had mutated into a demon, Chic left with the rest of the group.
This is Chic's natural demon form, which was materialized when George Karizaki failed to transform with the Chimera Driver.
Abilities
Mind Control: By touching a person's forehead with his finger, Chic can direct them to do as he wishes.
Possession: Chic is able to possess a person's body and change their appearance. He can then freely change between his human and demon forms. He can also completely shed his possession's body to transform, though this results in the possessed victim's death.
Energy blasts: In both his human and demon forms, Chic can fire yellow energy blasts from his fingers.
Chic is voiced by Shingo Fujimori (藤森 慎吾,Fujimori Shingo), who also voices the majority of the Vistamps. In his possession of Masato Sotoumi, he is portrayed by Norito Yashima (八嶋 智人,Yashima Norito).
Etymology[]
Chic's name means "elegant" & "stylishly fashionable", fitting Chic's personality and appearance.
