The Sustainable Happiness Organization with Computational Knowledge Embedded Remodeling, also known as Shocker (SHOCKER（ショッカー）, Shokkā), is an evil organization that appears in the film Shin Kamen Rider. It claims to be a secret society that pursues happiness for humanity, but in reality is responsible for numerous kidnappings and murders.

Origin[]

Daizo Ishigami envisioned an AI industrial revolution and sought to invest in such venture company. The Ishigami Group rescued Faust Network from bankruptcy. He valued Faust's AI technology so much that he bought out the company and poured a great amount of money into their research. This lead to the creation of the artificial intelligence I that has since surpassed human understanding. Realizing what I was capable of, Ishigami thought to use I for achieving happiness for the world, and established SHOCKER. Shortly after J was upgraded to K, J's frame was shut down and Ishigami ordered I and K with a final mission to "lead all of mankind to happiness" and committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with a pistol.

Japan Branch Coup[]

Ideological conflict deepened between Shocker's founding faction, Faust, and Ivan Tawanovitch's Despair Faction surrounding the organization's mission and leadership. The Despair Faction eliminated the Faust executives and took over the Japan branch in a coup.
