Icon-krThis article is about a recurring plot element in the Kamen Rider Series.

Ever since Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker, the protagonist of an upcoming new Kamen Rider series has made his first appearance in the summer movie (or in Gaim's case, the final episode) of his predecessor. This also foreshadows an upcoming Movie War film. The only Heisei Era Phase 2 Rider that has failed to make a pre-series cameo debut is Kamen Rider Drive. Kamen Rider Saber is the first Reiwa Rider to make his debut outside of his TV series without this debut being a cameo in a movie.
