The Deadmans (デッドマンズ, Deddomanzu) are the main antagonists of Kamen Rider Revice. They are a religious cult who worship the demon Giff and aim to revive him by finding suitable sacrifices.
History
The Giff Stamp was discovered somewhere in Latin America in 1971 by a group of explorers who accidentally released Giff from his slumber.
Attack on Fenix
Shortly before the start of the series, Olteca attacks Fenix's research laboratory while accompanied by an army of Giff Juniors and steals several Proto Vistamps. Afterwards, Julio attacks a van carrying prisoner Tomoyuki Harada and abducts him. Bringing the prisoner back to Deadmans Base, the Deadmans use him to create the Mammoth Deadman. During Fenix's squad leader inauguration, the all three Deadmans executives interrupt the ceremony and are aided by the Mammoth Deadman and a swarm of Giff Junior's in attacking those present. Hiromi Kadota attempts to use the Recice Driver in response but fails and inaverdently creates the Rex Deadman, which joins the attack as the members of Deadmans leave. However, Ikki Igarashi releases his inner demon, Vice, in order to fend off the Deadmen, but the demon then attempts to eat Yukimi Igarashi. Ikki uses the Revice Driver himself to control Vice and the two tranform into Kamen Rider Revi and Kamen Rider Vice before defeating the Giff Juniors as well as both Deadmen. While watching the Kamen Riders, Yujiro Wakabayashi is killed by the Chameleon Deadman, who begins impersonating him.
Creating Deadmen and Aided by Kamen Rider Evil
Deadmans then begins recruiting people to create Deadmen using the other Proto Vistamps in its collection, though each one is eventually defeated by Revice and the Proto Vistamp is recovered by Fenix. Meanwhile, Julio infilitrates the dojo of Sakura Igarashi using his civilian guise. After Daiji Igarashi's inner demon, Kagero, gains control of his host's body and becomes Kamen Rider Evil, he goes to Deadmans Base. Olteca offers him membership in Deadmans, but Kagero insists that he only wants to kill Ikki Igarashi. He also tells them not to touch his prey, as he must eliminate Ikki himself.
When the Igarashi family goes on a family trip to an onsen to celebrate Yukimi Igarashi being released from the hospital, Kagero plans to kill Ikki in front of the others during the celebration so as to do it when they're at their happiest. Aguilera, Olteca, and Julio disguise themselves as employees of the hotel that the family is staying at. During dinner, Aguilera poisons Ikki's drink, but Kagero knocks it out of his hand while making it look like an accident. Afterwards, Kagero attacks Aguilera as Kamen Rider Evil for interfering. Once the Deadmans run away, Evil is attacked by Kamen Rider Demons, but he incapacitates him and leaves. The next day, during the celebration, Kagero attacks Ikki and transforms into Evil as the Deadmans discard their disguises. Hiromi arrives and transforms into Demons, but Olteca and Julio transform into their Deadman forms and fight him. Ikki gains the resolve to fight and trasforms, but Kamen Rider Revice's fight with Evil results in a stalemate and Evil flees. Demons is able to fight off Olteca and Julio, causing them to retreat.
Olteca gives Kagero the Brachio Proto Vistamp and Giff Junior Vistamp before telling him to gather sacrifices for Giff. When Kagero creates the first Brachio Deadman, Kamen Rider Revice and Kamen Rider Demons head out and destroy it. Later, Kagero recreates it, along with an additional two Brachio Deadmen. In the resulting battle, Demons battles the Deadmen while Revice battles Evil. Taking advantage of Ikki's hesitance to hurt his brother, Evil defeats Revice. After destroying the Deadmen, Demons rescues Ikki and they escape. When Kagero's hideout is discovered, Fenix raids it and Kagero creates the three Brachio Deadmen in response. While Revi faces off against Evil, Vice and Demons battle the Deadmen. Revi is defeated once again by Evil, and Demons is defeated when the Deadmen combine into one. However, Daiji's consciousness resists Kagero, weakening him. As a result, Revi and Vice are able to defeat Evil, returning Daiji's control of his body. Daiji then uses the Two Sidriver to become Kamen Rider Live and destroys the combined Brachio Deadman.
Gathering Gifftex
When Amahiko Haitani makes videos advocating for Deadmans' cause, Olteca recruits him and he is given the Planarian Proto Vistamp. Haitani manipulates Seiko Omori into doing his bidding by promising that he will get treatment for her ill son. He uses the Planarian Proto Vistamp's ability to replicate itself and gives it to Seiko. Haitani first has Seiko attack a bank with the Planarian Deadman, but it is destroyed by Kamen Rider Revice and Kamen Rider Live. During the attack, Sakura Igarashi briefly fights Aguilera, but is quickly defeated. Aguilera admonishes her for her weakness and asks her to join Deadmans.
Haitani then has Seiko go to the hospital in order to find a doctor he claims can perform surgery on her son. Fenix arrives, and Seiko merges with the Deadman to become the Planarian Deadman Phase 2. Revi and Live defeat the Deadman and separate Seiko from it, but Haitani creates another Planarian Deadman that he uses to take her away. Haitani convinces Seiko to become a Phase 2 Deadman again and stage an attack along with the normal Planarian Deadman. Fenix arrives to stop them, but when Kamen Rider Demons is incapacitated while Julio and Olteca join in on the attack, Kamen Rider Revice and Kamen Rider Live become overwhelmed. However, Sakura Igarashi arrives and transforms into Kamen Rider Jeanne. She destroys the Planarian Deadman as well as the Phase 2, separating Seiko from it once again before she is apprehended by Fenix.
With the Chameleon Deadmen reuniting with the rest of the group, Deadmans has four of their six necessary sacrifices to reawaken Giff. Olteca informs them that Yasushi Kudo, who is in rehab in Fenix Skybase, has high potential. Aguilera, Olteca, and Julio summon a group of Giff Juniors elsewhere in the city to serve as a distraction before heading to Skybase. Inside, the Chameleon Deadman mimics Kudo to distract the guards while Haitani steals keycards from one of them and releases Kudo from his cell. He then opens Skybase's bay door to let in a swarm of Giff Juniors. The Chameleon Deadman mimics a member of Fenix and pretends to defend George and Ikki before demanding that George give him the Barid Rex Vistamp and Revice Driver. Ikki is convinced to release Vice, who fends off the Chameleon Deadman and causes him to flee. George, Ikki, and Vice leave Skybase and intervene in the fight between Jeanne and the Deadmans outside. Ikki transforms into Barid Rex Genome and fights Olteca and Julio alongside Vice, while Jeanne continues fighting Kagero. Olteca and Julio are defeated and retreat and retreat along with Aguilera, Haitani, and Kudo. Meanwhile, Jeanne is told by George that a Rider Kick can restore Daiji and defeats Evil, resulting in Daiji regaining control of his body.
Olteca explains the details of the Gifftex selection ritual to Kudo and Haitani. Kudo is then given the Sabertiger Proto Vistamps and heads to Happy Spa to get revenge on Ikki, while Haitani goes to Sakura Igarashi's high school. Kudo storms into the spa and confronts Ikki there before transforming into the Sabertiger Deadman Phase 2 to fight Revice. Meanwhile, Haitani yells for Sakura outside her school before summoning the Planarian Deadman. During the fight, Ikki becomes discouraged by Kudo calling him an egosit who interferes other people's business, but is reassured by Vice and defeats him. Sakura is cornered by Haitani along with her friends by Haitani and transforms into Jeanne to confront him, revealing her identity to her peers. Haitani is forcibly transformed into the Planarian Deadman Phase 2 by Julio, but is defeated by Jeanne. Kudo is retrieved by Olteca while Haitani is retrieved by Julio. In Skybase's cargo hold, the Chameleon Deadman approaches a wall with the first kanji of George's family name, 狩 (Kari ), and discovers that it is a hologram before passing through it. Inside, he opens a container expecting to find the Giff Stamp, but instead finds a figure of Kamen Rider 1. The lights turn on, revealing Daiji and Hiromi holding the imposter at gunpoint. Holding the Giff Stamp, George tells him that he knew about the listening device. The Chameleon Deadman briefly tries to maintain his ruse before revealing that he killed the real Wakabayashi. He then incapacitates Daiji and Hiromi before demanding that George hand over the Giff Stamp. George does, and the Deadman leaves.
Back at Deadmans Base, Haitani, Kudo, and the Chameleon Deadman undergo the selection ritual and successfully become Gifftex. Aguilera remarks that they only need one more sacrifice, but Olteca reveals to her and Julio that she is the final sacrifice. He explains that the energies of the five Gifftex will assist in resurrecting Giff, while Aguilera will serve as an untainted vessel.
Attempted Ritual
Aguluira is restrained and the Gifftex begin the ritual to reawaken Giff, with Julio's hesitant participation. However, the ritual is interrupted by the Igarashi siblings when Fenix raids Deadmans Base after locating it using a tracker attached to the Giff Stamp as well as intel from Kagero. The siblings transform and fight the Gifftex minus Julio, who was incapacitated by Olteca. During the battle, Hiromi transforms into Kamen Rider Demons and battles the Chameleon Deadman one-on-one. The Daiouika and Chameleon Deadmen are defeated, while the Planarian and Sabertiger Deadmen are destroyed by the combined power of Kamen Riders Revi, Live, and Jeanne, leading to Haitani and Kudo being absorbed by Giff. As a result, Giff causes the Deadmans Base to fly into the air and begin attacking the city. Revi and Vice stay behind to free Aguilera, and Revi destroys the flying base while Vice takes Aguilera and Julio to safety.
Back on the ground, Hiromi demands that Olteca surrender now that Aguilera is captured. Olteca tells Fenix that Aguilera was only a figurehead for cultists to gather around. Julio attacks Olteca out of rage but is injured by him and the Chameleon Deadman. In response, Aguilera uses the Queen Bee Proto Vistamp to transform into the Queen Bee Deadman and briefly fights Revi while Olteca and the Chameleon Deadman escape before taking Julio away.
Deadmans in Hiding
Giff is recovered by Fenix from the rubble of Deadmans Base and is taken in for study. As the last two Gifftex left in the Deadmans, Olteca and the Chameleon Deadman contemplate their next move. The Chameleon Deadman agrees to use his impersonation ability in order to steal the Revice Driver. While the Igarashi family is shopping, the Chameleon Deadman knocks Yukimi Igarashi and impersonates her. When the Deadman brings Ikki behind the store and is about to stab him while his back is turned, Ikki blocks the knife and reveals that he wasn't fooled. Daiji and Sakura arrive along with the real Yukimi and reveal that Hiromi had given their parents tracking devices as well as assigned them Fenix guards that communicate with the siblings via earpieces. With his plot foiled, the Chameleon Deadman transforms and summons Giff Juniors. The Igarashi siblings transform as well, with Live and Jeanne fighting the Giff Juniors while Revi and Vice fight the Deadman. After refusing to surrender, the Chameleon Deadman is defeated and absorbed by Giff.
The Power of the Giff Stamp: Gifftarians
The Giff Stamp would fall into the hands of Olteca, who gathered the remains of the Deadmans Cult in order to launch his own conquest of the world. He experimented with the Giff Stamp's power on one of his cultists on a televised announcement of the Deadmans' return, and discovered one of its hidden abilities. When used on a human, the Giff Stamp empowers their Inner Demon to the point that it becomes free to consume its host in order to gain a powerful physical body of its own. These new, stronger demons are dubbed Gifftarians.[1]

Notes
- The attire and names of the Deadmans generals are based on Mexican culture. The "Gracias" in their catchphrase means "Thank you" in Spanish, the country's predominant language.
- In Mexico, there is a traditional event called Day of the Dead (Spanish: Día de los Muertos), a holiday which is commonly portrayed as a celebration and remembrance of dead relatives rather than mourning.
