This article is about an episode in Kamen Rider Zeztz.

Case2: Explode (爆（は）ぜる, Hazeru) is the second episode of Kamen Rider Zeztz. It features the debut of Zeztz Physicam Transform, as well as the Breakam Zeztzer.

Synopsis[]

"Stop the bomber."（爆弾魔を止めろ。）

In a dream, Baku somehow becomes a fugitive criminal. When he encounters the Bomb Nightmare, he transforms into Zeztz, but the Nightmare escapes.

One night, Baku is suddenly summoned by Zero, who gives him an order to "infiltrate other people's dreams and prevent the Nightmare's nightmares before they happen." This means that he has to stop that bomber... Baku's mission to protect his "dream master" begins!

Plot[]

"Your next mission: Stop the bomber."（次のミッションだ: 爆弾魔を止めろ。）

The episode begins within the dream world, where the concave moon is still shining white. Elsewhere, a red door suddenly appeared before a ghastly hand goes through it and open the door from the outside. As the door open, a new Nightmare clad in black smoke is created as chains start to surround it. The mysterious man then ordered the newly created monster to realize its Nightmare in the real world as the moon glows red. Then, behind the monster, three doors with woman statue each are created...

The scene shifted to Baku in the Dream World as Code Number : Seven. He narrated that CODE has assigned him a new mission : Stop The Bomber, but for some reason he become a fugitive and Is currently chased by police officers, led by Tetsuya Fujimi. Just as Baku thought he escaped the polices, Nem appeared from behind him and greeted him. Baku is happy to meet Nem again and quickly assumed that his mission is to protect her from the eponymous bomber, since her popularity is akin that of a National Treasure. Baku's hapiness is short-lived however, as Nem handcuffed him after a little trick, with Nem explained that her current job in this dream is a Police Chief for a day. Unexpectedly, a police car parked outside suddenly explodes! As Nem and Baku watches in shock, the culprit ; Bomb Nightmare revealed himself amidst the roaring flame.

Bomb Nightmare announces that he'll blow up everything, and Baku correctly deduces the monster as the Bomber that he need to stop. Unfortunately, Baku cannot transform as he's still handcuffed by, and with Nem, As the two argues whether to freed baku or not, Bomb Nightmare attacked them both, resulting in Baku thrown away into the air, and Nem to disapppear. As Baku is about to fall, he unknowingly activates the Impact Capsem directly, gaining enhanced limbs strength that allows him to land safely, much to his amusement over the unexpected discovery. Now with his hands freed, Baku quickly transformed into Zeztz Impact form and confronted Bomb Nightmare directly.

The two fights on equal terms, with Zeztz manipulates the landscape to his advantage. However, Bomb Nightmare manages to do the same to trap Zeztz before exploding several police cars in the Real World, ultimately allows one of the three doors with woman statue to open. As Bomb Nightmare successfully escapes, Testuya and his fellow Police Officers apprehend Zeztz, as they believes Zeztz is the bomber, which resulting in Baku snapped out from his dream. Upon waking up, Baku is puzzled as he always manages to control his Lucid Dream before. He also notices that the Zeztz Driver is still attached to his torso, which makes him wonder if he could also transform into Zeztz in real life as well.

Meanwhile, Nasuka Nagumo is both baffled and perplexed to find out that her office for Paranormal Affairs Division is located on a police van outside the Police Station. She curses her predicament, noting that she's too young for a demotion. Left with no other choice, Nasuka enters the truck with some difficulties and find Tetsuya sleeping, visibly tired after his works. After Nasuka wakes her superior, and Tetsuya washes his face, Nasuka finds out that Tetsuya is currently investigating Baku. Tetsuya affirmed her question, revealing that Baku might have encounter a Nightmare in the dream, hence the Black Cases happpening in real life. Tetsuya also added that his supposedly fatal injuries from the car accicent two days ago has healed rapidly, furthering his suspicions. Not long after, Tetsuya and Nasuka finds Baku outside while concealing something, and both of them approached the young man for informations. Left with no choice, Baku revealed the Zeztz Driver to both officers and explained that he met a monster in the dream that explodes the police car. This revelation excites Tetsuya as he too, also experience the exact same dream as Baku had. Ultimately Tetsuya invites Baku to his (truck) office to gain more details.

After the trio enters, Tetsuya revealed that the Paranormal Affairs Division are tasked to deal with unsolved cases that cannot be explained with logical approach, hence dubbed Black Cases. Tetsuya then ordered Nasuka to reveal the documentations about Nightmares, which Nasuka half-heartedly did. Not long after, Nasuka and Tetsuya falls into arguments about the validity of the Nightmares and the Black Cases, as Nasuka believes that they are nothing more than an Urban Legends, while Tetsuya believes that they are real and had to be dealt with immediately. A livid Nasuka berates Tetsuya that as a police, they are bound to solve cases in real life, only for the lattter to declare that becoming a police officer is his dream, and he believed that his duty in paranormal affairs will help people in real life as well.

Baku is allowed to leave after evening falls, and on the way home decides to help Minami in bringing some groceries. Minami asked Baku about his involvement with the police, and Baku simply replied that they are asking about the detail on the previous car accidents. Baku then asked his sister if she even had the exact same dream as someone else, although she denies to experience that phenomenon. Minami added that Dream is ultimately a world created from a person subconscious, hence it's usually different for everyone else. Not long after, Minami scurry away from Baku in panic, as she remembered that her brother is bound to experience misfortune after helping someone. And as she expected, Baku accidentally stepped on a poop, much to their dismay.

As dusk arrives, Baku is way too nervous to sleep due to his immense curiosity over the latest incidents he faces as Zeztz. Suddenly, his Zeztz phone rang, and Baku finds out that Zero called him. Zero instructs Baku to access a hidden room by twisting a peculiar metal clothes hanger, and Baku is shcoked to learn that he can access them in real life. There, Zero initially appeared in Code Zeroider form before transforming into his Robot form, although Zero states that the robot is a proxy to help Baku on the field, and it's being controlled remotely. Baku excitedly asked if he could become an Agent in real life as well, only for Zero to suggest to keep dreaming, as it will came true with enough belief, Zero then explained to Baku that his primary duty is to inflitrate the dreams of other people, and stopped the Nightmares inside before it can be manifested into Reality. To further add to Zeztz arsenal, Zero opened the access of Capsem Generation Machine, and Baku gained Transform Capsem on his first try.

Baku proceeds to ask for the detail of his duty, which Zero explained that if the Nightmares inside the persoon dream realized the dreamer nightmare, the dreamer will be locked away inside their dream forever, and the Nightmares can manifest in the real world. After Baku mulled his earlier conversation with Tetsuya, he concluded that Bomb Nightmare is the one responsible to Tetsuya's nightmare, and decides to stop the bomber before it's too late. Zero then notices that Bomb Nightmare is currently on the move, while hijacking a police van. Baku then returned to his bedroom to sleep, so that he can go inside the Dream World as Code Number : Seven. Zero urged him to stop the bomber, which led to Baku fell into Zero's witty joke, as the CODE commander is still not transformed into Zeroider yet. Nevertheless, Zero immediately opened a portal to quickly give chase to the Nightmares, and Baku transformed into Zeztz Impact form while riding Code Zeroider.

Zeztz quickly give chase to Bomb Nightmare, and revealed that hidden within the Police Van, is a large sized bomb. While Bomb Nightmare is trying to obstruct Zeztz way, Zeztz evades them all with ease. Zeztz then uses his newly acquired Transform Capsem to change form into Zeztz Physicam Transform, before manipulating his legs into spiky structure that blows the van's tire. Bomb quickly escapes the vehicle before the Van explodes, and Zeztz riding through it. With the threat neutralized for the time being, Zeztz directly contronts Bomb Nightmare, before Zero granted him access to his weapon, Breakarm Zeztzer : Sword Mode. Using the newly acquired weapon, Zeztz is about to finish Bomb Nightmare, thinking that by doing so, Testuya is going to be saved that way. Unexpectedly, the mysterious man interferes with Zeztz, and revealed that Dreams are the refuge of wishes left ungranted by the Dreamer subconscious in the real world. The mysterious man also cryptically exclaimed that once ther dreamer's Mind Door are all opened, the true nightmare shall begin. The new info terrifies Zeztz as he realizes something grave :

Tetsuya Fujimi wishes for Bomb Nightmare to manifest in real life...
