Case14: Thunder (神鳴（かみな）る, Kaminaru) is the fourteenth episode of Kamen Rider Zeztz. It features the debut of Zeztz Inazuma Plasma.

Synopsis[]

Baku's new mission is to eliminate his enemy, Nox. Wandering through a black hole in his dream, Baku begins to retrace the nightmare he first saw as a child.

Young Baku attends a cram school. Following his movements, the cram school instructor Nox appears! Shocked by this past encounter with Nox, Baku confronts him, desperate to recover his erased memories!

Plot[]

"Your next mission.（次のミッションだ。） Eliminate the enemy. Good luck.（敵を抹殺せよ。健闘を祈る。）"

The episode started with Baku who is still asleep in the real world. Whlist in the dream world, he’s still getting sucked into his own created Black Hole from the previous mission, before he inadvertently entered His own Nightmare this time. Inside the space of his dream, Nem wakes him up, wearing the same red dress she wore on their first meeting. Baku and Nem looked around at the space, which is adorned by four glowing symbols akin that of Nox’s book, before Nem informed him that while she didn’t believe that Baku is getting sucked into his own Black Hole, he still saves Humanity, much to Baku's elation.

Not long after, Zero contacted him via Zeztz Phone to convey his new mission : Eliminate The Enemy, Nox. In reaction, Baku try to inquire Zero about Nox’s alter ego, and why he can also use the Capsem power like he did, only for Zero to coldly order Baku to focus on This mission, no question asked. Baku is left to ponder Nox's word about Capsems being an item that brings about Nightmares, and deduces that this mission is about to test his own mind after the platform beneath him starts collapsing. Meanwhile, in real world, Baku shivers in fear, much to Minami's worry.

Back in the dream world, Nem inquires Baku about his first ever Nightmare. Baku explained to Nem that it's a moment he'll never forget : Back during Elementary School, a young Baku is suddenly struck by Lightning on his way back home. Soon, the two of them transported into the timeline it happened. In the real world, Zero checked in on Yorozu siblings on Baku's bedroom, with Minami asking when will Baku wakes up. Zero replied that it'll take longer than usual since Baku is on a very important mission right now, and explained to a still worried Minami that Baku is indeed a secret agent that helps ordinary people fend off Nightmare nefarious plans. The scene then shifted to Baku and Nem, who are currently entering Baku's Cram school. Baku explained to Nem that back then, he's qualified to enter the special grade, where he and several other students are put on a state of sleeping while having an odd audio-visual simulation before the class session commences. Unexpectedly, a familiar figure then entered the classroom as a teacher, and Baku experience a Headache, as if a dormant memory inside him is unlocked. When the light subsides, Baku and Nem saw Odaka Kensei, prompting Baku to question himself how could he forget an important memory like that. Meanwhile, Zero is shown sitting on CODE HQ and now seemingly understood the Enemy identity.

The scene shifted to Odaka Kensei in the real world, who is currently hospitalized somewhere while he's on the state of comatose. In the dream world, Nox declared that it's time to say farewell to the dream world before he entered the same school he teached years ago. As if to acknowledge his presence, various doors inside of the said school suddenly closes. Nox is seemingly aware of the perpetrator and warns them to get out and face him, before he transforms into Nox Knight to fend this new enemy. Nox Knight then saw a fiery shadow beneath of him, prompting him to use his Breakam Buster Launcher Mode and put the Erase Capsem inside it's slot to shoot the shadows, telling it to disapppear from his dream. However, despite his relentless assault, the shadowy figure is not completely gone and instead taunting the rogue agent that as long as he still afraid of it, it will Never disapppear. True to the Nightmare words, Nox Knight is shaken in fear, causing Odaka in real life to tremble as well.

As noon arrives in the real world, Nasuka and Fujimi, now that they cannot use CODE HQ as a meeting point, is now having a rendezvous on a parking lot, discussing about Odaka's whereabouts in real life. Nasuka revealed that her investigation on the Art Museum didn't bore fruit about Odaka, while Fujimi also didn't get any info of Odaka from Atsumi Taro. As Nasuka is about to get lunch, the sky suddenly goes dark as if it's midnight! This unexpected incident also shocks Fujimi, correctly deducing that this phenomenon is a Black Case. This phenomenon also baffled Minami, who can only wondered what is going on. Back in the real world, Baku and Nem witnessing a young Baku having an affable conversation with Odaka, before they decides to chase him to get more info. However, they are soon transferred back into the raining alleyway, where young Baku is about to get hit by a Lightning Strike. While Nem attempted to comfort the young Baku by hugging him, Baku realized that this particular memory of him is actually erased by Nox for unknown reasons, prompting Baku to decide to talk to Nox directly for answers. But before that, he looked at one of his Void Capsems and declared that he'll end his own Nightmare with his own hand, even if that means he had to use the power of Bad Dreams itself. Baku raises the capsem high, and when the Lightning strikes the Capsem, the Nightmare essence from the Thunderous Strike is captured by it, imbuing the Capsem with its power. Ultimately, Inazuma Plasma capsem is created, and the rain stops.

Baku and Nem then use the power of Plasma Capsem to transfer themselves into Nox's dream world, in order for Baku to complete his own mission first. When Nem asked what should she do, Baku simply replied for her to do her usual routine before leaving. Nem looked at the reflection of herself and saw that she's wearing a white dress, similar to the one she wear in real life. Meanwhile, in the same realm, Nox Knight is already on the outside, still battling Shadow Nightmare on his own. Nox Knight tries to convince himself that he's not afraid, and he'll get out from this dream world before he faces to the direction of the Nightmare. However, instead of Shadow Nightmare, Baku is there to confront him. While Nox Knight is impressed that Baku manages to surpass his own Nightmare, he still warned Baku to not interfere with him, or his mission. Baku refuse since he still have his own mission to Eliminate Nox, and then transformed into Zeztz Inazuma Plasma form.

Thus, the rematch between Zeztz and Nox Knight commences, with Nox Knight still believes that the Power that belonged to Nightmares need to be erased as he attempts to turn Plasma Capsem into Void Capsem once more. This time, Zeztz use his innate ability to move faster than sound, and successfully overpowering the Rogue Agent by his own speed. Nox Knight then use his Breakam Buster to destroy two Hydrant Pillars, so that the water from it can detect Zeztz movement. Predictably, Zeztz newly acquired power is still outclassing Nox Knight despite the latter battle experiences, and Zeztz also summoned Inazuma Blaster to even up the battle. Zeztz finally manages to defeat Nox Knight by using the Plasma Capsem inside the Inazuma Blaster, and shoots the rogue agent using Plasma Thunder finisher! Unfortunately, the recoil from using the Plasma Capsem forcibly canceling Baku's own transformation as the latter then winced from the pain. Nox bitterly commented that the Nightmare power will inevitably destroy him. Having enough with Nox riddling him with vague information, Baku grabbed Nox by the collar and demanded Nox to tell him the content of Baku's memory that Nox erased. Nox realized that Baku starts remembering again, and replied that he erased a deep darkness inside of him.

Meanwhile, in the real world, Nasuka showed Fujimi a video from SNS about the thunder that appeared after the darkness, and Fujimi deduces that Odaka might have a part in it before they departed. In CODE HQ, Minami ranted to Zero that Baku is already asleep from 16 hours, prompting Zero to explain that Baku mission this time is to eliminate an enemy. This angered Minami enough to slap the machine in the face, screaming that Zero better not making Baku a murderer. Minami argues that all Baku cares about is to help people, with Zero simply replied that this mission will also help people in the long run, as he believed that dirty jobs like this is sometimes necessary to make things right; arguing that this is the world of Secret Agent that Baku coveted. Back in the real world, Baku tries to press Nox further about what is the Darkness that he erased. Nox then replied : CODE. The organization that turned their lives into One Big Nightmare.

As the scene shifted to Zero, who is sitting in a complacent manner, Nox advises Baku to protect himself before the former is swallowed by a massive Shadow. The episode ends with Nem and Baku, who could only ponder about the truth that Nox presented to them, as Baku starts to have a second thought about the said organization...
