Brachypelma Worm Viridis (ブラキペルマワーム・ビリディス, Burakiperuma Wāmu Biridisu) is a Tarantula-like Worm that protect Worm's egg inside a factory.
History[]
Kamen Rider Kabuto[]
Viridis usually appeared as a factory worker's form. His mission is to hide in the factory, which has become a nest of worms, and to protect the hidden worm eggs. According to Makoto's flashback, he killed a worker before mimicked him.
He mainly receives instructions from Tarantes Worm Purpura and acts together with the Brachypelma Worm Aurantium.
When Arata Kagami comes to investigate, Viridis as the worker's appearance, tries to deceive Kagami by explaining that he is having trouble with stray cats that have taken up residence at the factory, since they stopped operating. However, when Kagami takes out his cell phone to report the incident, it malfunctions due to some reason that occurs when the worm is nearby. Viridis notices this and knocks the cell phone out of Kagami's hand, then revealed his original form and attacks Kagami. Later when Kagami tried to escape, Viridis mimicked Kagami to provocative him. Kamen Rider TheBee and Shadow troopers then arrived at the factory, saved Kagami in process. Viridis runs away during the fight.
Afterwards, Kagami went to test his compatibility with Gatack Zecter, but he was rejected by the Zecter, being seriously injured and hospitalized. Knowing that Kagami was in the hospital, Viridis dressed up as a doctor while mimicking Kagami, intending to kill Kagami, but was stopped by Soji Tendo who present at the scene earlier, because he expected that Worm would inherit Kagami's impatient personality. Kamen Rider Kabuto then fought with Viridis, and when he was about to end Viridis' life with Rider Kick, he controlled a bunch of Chrysalises to act as his own meat shield, and took the opportunity to escape again.
Next day, when the Shadow begins a sweep operation, Viridis discovers Kagami who has invaded the factory, Viridis attacks Kagami knocking off him from the bike. However, his actions were temporarily stopped by Sasword and TheBee. Kagami then came to the factory to meet Makoto. When they're hidding, Viridis, mimicked as Kagami, appeared again. Kagami originally intended to protect Makoto, who he thought was a human, but Makoto also directly revealed his true identity as Tarantes Worm Purpura, since Kagami was unable to end or prolong ZECT's operations, Tarantes Worm Purpura believed that Kagami was useless and he don't wanna pretend to be human anymore. The two Worms stretched out their tentacles together and pierced Kagami's body, causing him to fall to the ground with fatal wound.
However, Kagami is revived by someone who equips him with Rider Belt, and successfully transformed into Kamen Rider Gatack Masked Form. Although Viridis and Purpura attacks Gatack together, but he is unable to overwhlem Gatack, and soon after destroyed by long-range artillery fire from Gatack Vulcan.
Kamen Rider G[]
The Shade member who became Brachypelma Worm Viridis in Kamen Rider G.
A member of Shade under Daido Oda transformed into Brachypelma Worm Viridis. He fought alongside Acarina Worm, Cochlea Worm, and Subst Worm, against Kamen Rider G who destroyed them all. [Kamen Rider G]

Brachypelma Worm Viridis appears as a member of Dai-Shocker in the World of Black RX. He is beaten back alongside Brachypelma Worm Aurantium by Kamen Rider Black RX. [Black × Black RX]
Personality[]
Brachypelma Worm Viridis is a cunning Worm. In order to protect the secret of the Worm eggs inside the factory, he can use the memory and personality inherited from the humans he mimicked to deceive other unsuspecting humans. When facing Kagami, he used the memory of the workers and lied that all operations in the factory were stopped because of wild cats. He also dressed to be a doctor and sneaked into the hospital to reduce other humans' suspicion of him. When he was in danger situation, Viridis would choose to control other Worm Chrysalis to help him block the attack, allows him continue to survive.
Like the nature of all worms, Viridis is also stubbornly persistent in single target. He will deliver fierce attack towards the target and will also mimic the opponent's appearance to taunt them.

- Acidic Mucus: Brachypelma Worm Viridis can spew acidic mucus spits from its mouth to entangle its prey.
