The Black Followers (黒ジューシャ, Kurojūsha) are the Garander Empire's foot soldiers with five times the strength of an average human being, succeeding the Red Followers of Gedon. Like the Red Followers, numerous white threads hang from the arms their suits, which they exploit through their technique of utilizing them to constrict opponents akin to tentacles. The Black Followers are distinguished from their all-female predecessors by their black suits as well as being all-men. Whereas the Red Followers served more as scouts, Black Followers were more traditional combatants in fighting alongside the Beastmen. As well as that, scientist variants also existed along with Black Follower Leaders (リーダー格の黒ジューシャ, Rīdā-kaku no Kurokūsha) who were distinguished by the mark of a star on the forehead of their masks.[1]
