The Battle Fight (バトルファイト, Batoru Faito) is a free-for-all battle royale that serves as a major plot point of Kamen Rider Blade.
History[]
The Past[]
It began 10,000 years ago when God created the Undead in the form of the a stone slab called the Master, to defeat each other in the Battle Fight, while the loser will be sealed by Master into a Rouse Card, with the winner granted a wish to alter the world. The 52 Undead represented 52 different species and battled so they can wish for the species they represent to rule the Earth, while the Joker represented death. While the other Undeads were sealed by the Master, the winner of that battle was the Human Undead and the world has been populated by humans ever since.
Present Day[]
In the present, human archaeologists discover the sealed Undead and a madden Hirose set them free by mistake. However, the new Battle Fight was a front for a sinister plot by BOARD's chairman, such that he could win the Battle Fight and claim the power to rewrite the world for himself as he obtains the Master under his control. Developing Rider Systems based around the Undead, a Rider can defeat an Undead, forcing its Ouroboros buckle to open up with a Blank Card thrown at it to reseal the Undead. As the Riders and Joker were the only ones that can seal Undead in the Present, the Giraffa Undead has deduced the new Battle Fight as a fake due to them losing the ability to seal their oppoents, until Tennoji creates Kerberos Undead, which awakes the Master, which officially begins the second Battle Fight.
In the end, with Tennoji's plans foiled and all of the Undead resealed, the Joker Undead became the sole winner of the modern day Battle Fight, though after Kazuma Kenzaki mutated himself into a second Joker Undead, the Battle Fight was put at a stalemate.
Zi-O[]
Unable to ensure his own timeline, White Woz instead sought to bring about the end of the world by reinitiating the Battle Fight and manipulating it towards it conclusion. To that end, he turned Amane Kurihara into Another Blade, so as to draw out both Kenzaki and Hajime into the field once more, such that their Undead instincts would drive them to fight again.
Another Blade would eventually absorb the Undead powers of both Jokers, effectively rendering them both human and making the Another Rider the sole winner of the Battle Fight. However, Another Blade would later be defeated by the newly-combined powers of Kamen Rider Zi-OTrinity, restoring Amane to normal and sealing Blade's and Chalice's powers into their respective Ridewatches. With no more Undead remaining, the Battle Fight was officially concluded.
