Template:Characterinfo Kamen Rider Banki (仮面ライダー蛮鬼, Kamen Raidā Banki, lit. "Masked Rider Barbaric Demon") is the character in Kamen Rider Hibiki. He was among the Oni who appeared only in the second opening song.

He gave up his real name and became Oni with the name Banki (バンキ), and one of 11 active Oni in Kanto area.

Biography

Banki is a 21 year old Oni, is the second young Oni in Kanto. Banki was formerly apprenticed to Kamen Rider Sabaki. Like Todoroki, he does not inherit the name of his master. Currently he is working independently as an Oni using string instruments. He is known for being a calm and responsible man. His relationship with teacher Ibuki - Akira quite close, they often go together for the holidays, although not shown in the series.

Kamen Rider Banki is transformed Oni. In this form, Banki is a dark brown demon with hands and facelines is yellow. Banki uses his Henshin Kigen to transform into this form. Banki also gains a second "oni face" which is a crest that forms on his forehead. Unlike most Kamen Riders, Banki does not wear a suit; rather his demon form is his true form.

  • In some magazine scans, showing the moment when the 'Orochi's sealing' event was in progress, Kamen Rider Banki (along with 10 other active Oni in Kanto) was seen appearing to help Hibiki against giant Makamous. However, in the TV series, this scene is missing, it may not exist either.
