Bandai Co. Ltd. is a Japanese toy making and video game company. After merging with the company Namco, Bandai went under the management of Bandai Namco Holdings.
Some Bandai branch groups produce anime and Tokusatsu, including the Kamen Rider Series. Besides Kamen Rider and Super Sentai, Bandai is known for products such as Gundam Models, Tamagotchi, and Digimon (anime, manga, and other video games included). Bandai also made Masked Rider and Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight toylines.
One of their branches, Tamashii Nations is responsible for their production of high-quality figurines of popular heroes, which is outlined in their S.H. Figuarts line. Tamashii Lab is responsible for show-prop productions.
On September 21, 2018, the company acquired Bluefin Brands to enhance thier distribution network and marketing in North America, creating a new subsidiary to operate alongside it called Bandai Namco Collectibles that became active in January of 2019.
