The Henshin Gun Bakemagnum (変身銃 ベイクマグナム, Henshin Jū Beikumagunamu) is the transformation device and main weapon of Kamen Rider Bake. It would later be inherited by Bitter Gavv as his firearm after Kenzo/Bake's death.
Overview[]
The Bakemagnum was created by Kenzo Suga as the culmination of all of his research. It is an upgraded version of the Valenbuster and was originally intended to be a power-up for Hanto. Suga only became Bake in order to show Hanto that using it would make him stronger than Shoma.
It extracts special abilities from the Gochizo, allowing it to incorporate those abilities into transformations and perform various attacks.[1]
After Kenzo's death, Bitter Gavv would later inherit his late master's transformation device as his firearm.
Components[]
The Bakemagnum is composed of the following parts:[2]
- Magnum Point (マグナムポイント, Magunamu Pointo): The muzzle. It fires high-power light bullets that reflect electromagnetic energy and the Gochizo's special abilities.
- Crimson Jack (クリムゾンジャッキ, Kurimuzon Jakki): The starting lever. By opening and closing it, the Gochizo's special abilities can be utilized to transform or prepare for launching a special move.
- Setter Coffin (セッターコフィン, Settā Kofin): The extraction pedestal for the Gochizo. It secures the set Gochizo firmly in place.
- Chewing Eater (チューイングイーター, Chūingu Ītā): The special thermal fusion device. It extracts the special abilities of Gochizo and creates special energy through a fusion reaction using electromagnetic induction heating.
- Magnum Grasp (マグナムグラスプ, Magunamu Gurasupu): The handle. It transmits information on special energy and the Gochizo's power through Kamen Rider Bake's clenched hand.
- Traction Trigger (トラクショントリガー, Torakushon Torigā): The trigger. Pulling the trigger executes the transformation and also serves as the starting point for various attacks.

Transformation[]
To transform into Kamen Rider Bake, Suga sets Breacookie Gochizo onto the Setter Coffin and closes the Crimson Jack, putting the Breacookie Gochizo into an awaken state. Suga lifts the Crimson Jack twice to bite the Breacookie Gochizo then fires a projection of the muzzle by pressing the Traction Trigger. The projection encases Suga and giant heating elements are deployed around him. The Bakebuckle forms onto his waist as the Knack Body takes shape. Cookie dough biological tissue is poured on him as the heating elements bake the armor onto his body.

- The Bakemagnum is a retool of the Valenbuster.
- In the DX version, the Bakemagnum lacks the reading pins unlike the Valenbuster, meaning that it will always make the same sounds regardless of the Gochizo attached to it.
- The Bakemagnum's loading mechanism is akin to that of a real flare gun. Unlike a flare gun, however, the Bakemagnum's barrel is swung upwards instead of downwards while loading.
