Back In Black (黒龍見参, Kokuryū Kenzan, The Black Dragon Arrives) is the thirty-fourth episode of Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight. This episode marks the debut of Kit as Kamen Rider Onyx in the real world, instead of the dream world in Dropping the Axe.
Synopsis[]
Kit returns from the Advent Void, now fighting as Kamen Rider Onyx. When he meets his mirror twin, Adam, the two get in an argument that can only end in a battle between Kamen Riders.
Plot[]
Len, Chance, and Pryce upload the virus into another transmitter, shutting it down, and are attacked by a horde of Sheerghosts. During the battle, Kamen Rider Onyx appears and assists them. Onyx then reveals himself to be Kit. Len introduces him to Chance and Pryce and explains that Adam returned, with the Dragon Knight deck. Upon hearing that Kase was hurt, Len hurries back.
Meanwhile, in light of the viruses shutting down his transmitters, Xaviax begins cloaking the transmitters' signals to hide their locations. He urges Adam to hasten his efforts in joining the Riders so that he can gain a copy of the virus drive and decode it to restore the transmitters. Upon seeing Maya in the open, Xaviax orders Adam to go help her, as he was preparing to overhelm her with minions.
Kit, Len, Chance, and Pryce return to the No-Men Base, where Kit meets Hunt and reunites with Trent (in typical awkward fashion). Len and Kase reunite, when suddenly, Eubulon senses that Maya is in trouble, much to the confusion and bewilderment of Kit, who goes to help her.
Adam tries to gain Maya's trust by helping her with Sheerghosts, before Kit shows up. Kit and Adam begin to argue with each other, before engaging in battle. Kit nearly vents Adam, but is stopped by Eubulon, who decides bring Adam back to base to explain his actions to the other Riders. When they return, the other Ventaran Kamen Riders are furious, with Hunt even suggesting to vent him on the spot. Eubulon insists that they hear him out, much to the displeasure of Len, who storms out of the base.

Notes[]
- This episode marks the longest time before the Theme Song rolls in. It's also the only time the title is shown after returning from the first commercial break.
- Kit reveals his nightmares, first seen in Episodes 24-25, about the Onyx deck to Eubulon, Chance, and Pryce.
- It is confirmed that all Ventaran Kamen Riders also had nightmares before contracting with their Advent Beast
- This episode marks the only appearance of Siren's Final Vent.
- This is likely due to the lack of footage of it from Kamen Rider Ryuki, as its only appearance was in the Episode Final special
- This episode shares its name with episode 5
of Power Rangers Dino Thunder
.
- The two episodes also have similar plots in that a hero from earlier in the series who had been absent for some time, returns with a new black-colored suit.
- Both episodes get their title from the AC/DC album and track, "Back In Black".
