Aya Yamamoto (山本 亜矢, Yamamoto Aya) is the wife of Masahiro Yamamoto, a Gate.

History

She was heavily pregnant when her husband was targeted by the Phantoms. Medusa attempted to kill her to drive Masahiro into despair, almost succeeding before he managed to overcome it when it was revealed that she was saved by Wizard. ^{[Wiseman's Truth]} Soon after, she witnessed her husband taken by White Wizard, who turned him into one of his Mage servants. ^{[The Philosopher's Stone]} He returned after the second Sabbath was thwarted. After the final battle with Gremlin, Aya gave birth to their baby son. ^{[The Last Hope]}

Aya Yamamoto is portrayed by Miyuu Sawai (沢井 美優, Sawai Miyū), who previously portrayed Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.
