Over Quartzer |
This article is about a Rider in Kamen Rider Zi-O. |
This version of Kamen Rider Zero-One (仮面ライダーゼロワン, Kamen Raidā Zerowan) appeared in Kamen Rider Zi-O: Over Quartzer.
History[]
During one of Sougo Tokiwa's dreams, he saw Black Woz introduce Kamen Rider Zero-One. After waking up in a panic, he claimed that Zi-O had disappeared in his dream and the new Rider had taken his place, where the crowd started chanting his name.
Zero-One later appeared to fight the heavily injured Kamen Rider Zonjis, introducing himself to be the first Reiwa-era Kamen Rider, Zero-One. Zero-One fended off the Kasshines and defeated Zonjis easily by using his Rising Hopper and Flying Falcon forms.
Personality[]
Based on his in-battle mannerisms, his personality seem to be more-or-less completely identical to his prime counterpart.

Rising Hopper (ライジングホッパー, Raijingu Hoppā) is Zero-One's grasshopper-based primary form accessed by using the Rising Hopper Progrisekey in the Hiden Zero-One Driver.
While it serves at Zero-One's balanced default form, Rising Hopper excels at jump height and kicking power, outclassing all of his other main forms as well as other Riders in these areas due to using grasshopper data.
Rising Hopper consists of the following parts:
- Hopper Head (ホッパーヘッド, Hoppā Heddo): The head.
- Hopper Mask (ホッパーマスク, Hoppā Masuku): Rising Hopper's faceplate. It protects the face and reproduces the capabilities of grasshoppers to extend the wearer's capabilities.
- Zero-One Signal (ゼロワンシグナル, Zerowan Shigunaru): The Zero-One system's control device. Located between the eyes. It has a role of controlling the signaling system for adapting to various Progrisekeys, matching and information transmission loss with the wearer, adjustment to close the ability extension to the theoretical value by checking such as defects is performed.
- Hopper Antenna (ホッパーアンテナ, Hoppā Antena): The antenna. By adopting an active method for performing directional control by changing the phase and wavelength, it is possible to detect even the smell by introducing the state-of-the-art olfactory element.
- Hopper Eyes (ホッパーアイ, Hoppā Ai): The compound eyes. Different image sensors of the method are assembled in compound eye shapes, it is possible to extract a variety of information, including thermography and X-ray imaging by combining with image processing. In addition, it is also possible to view high-altitude observation information from the communication satellite Zea (ゼア ).
- Rise Architecter (ライズアーキテクター, Raizu Ākitekutā): The black undersuit. It is a human strengthening system that uses electromagnetic induction to activate the wearer's physical abilities and brings out superhuman strength. The material is a woven fabric made of a special fiber Hiden Hexa Fiber (ヒデンヘキサファイバー, Hiden Hekisa Faibā) with excellent toughness and soft metal fiber Hiden Amorphous Line (ヒデンアモルファスライン, Hiden Amorufasu Rain), and it is very thin and supple though it is woven together with information cables. Inside, the liquid armor n-NA ((「n-NA」) ), a kind of non-Newtonian fluid with excellent bulletproof and shock absorption, is enclosed, maintaining flexibility and maintaining the protection of the whole body. In addition, as basic equipment of the Zero-One system, it is possible to develop and evolve by adding various abilities based on the data of the Progrisekey.
- Architecter Head (アーキテクターヘッド, Ākitekutā Heddo): The Rise Architecter's helmet parts; the black parts of the helmet. The human strengthening system using electromagnetic induction activates the wearer's physical abilities and brings out superhuman strength. Just like the Rise Architecter, it is made up of Hiden Hexa Fiber, Hiden Amorphous Line and contains n-NA within it.
- Architecter Shoulder (アーキテクターショルダー, Ākitekutā Shorudā): The shoulders, made of Hiden Alloy (ヒデンアロイ, Hiden Aroi), with a Knoop hardness of 8200, the shape with excellent aerodynamics disperses the kinetic energy of impacts and shells, and by deflecting it, it increases the defense performance and reduces the air resistance on itself Improve even motility.
- Hiden Linker (ヒデンリンカー, Hiden Rinkā): The collar armor piece, made of soft metal Hiden Amorphous (ヒデンアモルファス, Hiden Amorufasu) armor by neuronal connection of the wearer's body using a pseudo-impulse, to provide a reflection speed to correspond to the calculation speed obtained by the data link with the communication satellite Zea.
- Architecter Arms (アーキテクターアーム, Ākitekutā Āmu): The arms. It allows the Rise Architecter to pull out superhuman feat from the wearer and can lift up to 3.2 tons of objects.
- Architecter Grab (アーキテクターグラブ, Ākitekutā Gurabu): The hands. It is possible to extend the sensitivity of the sense of touch by increasing the gripping power by drawing out superhuman force from the wearer.
- Hopper Breast (ホッパーブレスト, Hoppā Buresuto): The chest plate. It comes with a built-in the respiratory and hearing device Rising Lung (ライジングラング, Raijingu Rangu) and the ability of the wearer is extended by reproducing the function of the grasshopper as well as protecting the chest and abdomen.
- Hopper Legs (ホッパーレッグ, Hoppā Reggu): The legs. It is equipped with a jumping device Rising Jumper (ライジングジャンパー, Raijingu Janpā), allowing 60.1m of jumping in vertical jumps. This protects the thigh and reproduces the function of the grasshopper to extend the wearer's ability.
- Hopper Greaves (ホッパーグリーブ, Hoppā Gurību): The shin guards. It is equipped with a dampening device dubbed Rising Absorber (ライジングアブソーバー, Raijingu Abusōbā) which absorbs the shocks created by propelling one of the ground and landing, preventing the user's legs from self-destructing. It protects the shins and reproduces the function of the grasshopper to extend the capabilities of the wearer.
- Hopper Boots (ホッパーブーツ, Hoppā Būtsu): The feet. It is made of Hiden Alloy, with a Knoop hardness of 8200, increasing the destructiveness of kicks and defensive power.
- "Progrise! Fly to the sky! Flying Falcon! Spread your wings and prepare for a force."
- ―Transformation announcement[src]
- Rider Height: 194.0 cm
- Rider Weight: 85.5 kg
- Ability Parameters[2]
- Punching Power: 8.6 t
- Kicking Power: 27.2 t
- Maximum Jump Height: 17.5 m
- Maximum Running Speed: 100 m per 4.2 seconds
Flying Falcon (フライングファルコン, Furaingu Farukon) is Zero-One's falcon-based form, accessed by using the Flying Falcon Progrisekey in the Hiden Zero-One Driver.
This form decreases Zero-One's kicking power and jump height compared to Biting Shark and Rising Hopper, bringing him more in line with the other Riders, along with a slight decrease in running speed and a slight increase in punching power. However, Zero-One's decreases in stats are offset by Flying Falcon granting him the ability to fly.
Flying Falcon adds the following parts:
- Falcon Head (ファルコンヘッド, Farukon Heddo): The helmet.
- Falcon Antenna (ファルコンアンテナ, Farukon Antena): The Falcon's antenna. An active system is used that controls the directivity by changing the phase and wavelength. It also serves as a Pitot tube that measures airspeed.
- Falcon Mask (ファルコンマスク, Farukon Masuku): Flying Falcon's faceplate. Equipped with antennas, visual devices, and enhanced hearing devices, it protects the face and expands the user's combat prowess with emulated falcon ability.
- Falcon Eyes (ファルコンアイ, Farukon Ai): The two green compound eyes. A combination of image sensors of different methods in a compound eye shape, combined with image processing, can extract a variety of information including thermo and X-ray imaging. It is also possible to use high altitude observation information from the communication satellite There as its own field of view. In addition, because it is constantly exposed to high-speed wind, the protective visor is layered to prevent damage from flying objects and ensure visibility.
- Falcon Ears (ファルコンイヤー, Farukon Iyā): Audio detecting devices located to the sides the helmet (more specifically, where Rising Hopper's 'eyes' are). In addition to it being a normal hearing device, a pressurizing device, dubbed Active Pressure (アクティブプレシャー, Akutibu Pureshā), has been built in, has the role of maintaining a constant blood volume in the body by detecting rapid acceleration and adjusting the blood flow of the wearer, the narrowing of the visual field and color tone It plays a role in preventing vision abnormalities such as changes.
- Falcon Breast (ファルコンブレスト, Farukon Buresuto): The chest plate. A built-in respirator similar to a jet engine dubbed Altitude Tug (アルティトユードタグ, Arutitoyūdo Tagu) is installed, maintains the same oxygen supply as on the ground by supplementing breathing during high altitude flight with low air density. This protects the chest and abdomen and expands the wearer's ability using the function of the falcon.
- Falcon Shoulders (ファルコンレッグ, Farukon Shorudā): The shoulders. In contains a built-in Wing Fairlencers (ウィングファイレンサー, Wingu Fairensā) energy generator. the front wing deploys an energy interference field around it to generate thrust and lift necessary for flight. The highest speed is Mach 2, and by changing the shape of the interference field, it can respond flexibly to airflow and behavior in the air. This results in protective shoulder armor that increases combat prowess through the replication of falcon abilities.
- Falcon Legs (ファルコンレッグ, Farukon Reggu): The legs. Stabilized wings Stabitaylor (スタビテイラー, Sutabiteira) are equipped, and the attitude is controlled by maintaining the balance of force by operating the rudder during crosswind or turning during flight. This protects the thigh and expands the wearer's ability using the function of the falcon.
- Falcon Greaves (ファルコングリーブ, Farukon Gurību): The shin guards. A pressurizing device, dubbed Active Pressure (アクティブプレシャー, Akutibu Pureshā), has been built in, has the role of maintaining a constant blood volume in the body by detecting rapid acceleration and adjusting the blood flow of the wearer. This protects the shin and can cope with abrupt behavior such as ultra-high-speed flight and high-speed somersault.
- Falcon Boots (ファルコンブーツ, Farukon Būtsu): The feet. Adjustments have been made specifically for kicks caused by a sudden descent.
This form's finisher is the Flying Impact (フライングインパクト, Furaingu Impakuto): Zero-One sprouts a pair of mechanical falcon wings from his back and flies toward the target before grabbing them with his legs and lifting them into the air. He then throws the enemy and delivers a Rider Kick covered in magenta energy.

Behind the Scenes[]
Portrayal[]
- This version of Kamen Rider Zero-One was voiced by Fumiya Takahashi (高橋 文哉, Takahashi Fumiya), who also portrays his main timeline counterpart. His suit actor is unknown.
Notes[]
- Production-wise, this is Takahashi's first-ever portrayal of the character.
- Zero-One shares a similar name with another Tokusatsu hero, Kikaider 01. During the filming of the movie, the audience were introduced with Kikaider 01 as an intentional misdirect by the producers to hide Zero-One from public until his official reveal. Kikaider was later digitally replaced by Zero-One in the post-production process.
- While never explicitly stated, the main timeline version of Aruto may or may not be a byproduct of this version of Zero-One's existence, due to their identical voice and powers. Hypothetically, it may have been due to the the events of Zi-O Episode 47 that created a version of Zero-One in Zi-O Episode 49. Evidently while no one except Woz is implied to be aware of this, this theory is confirmed in Kamen Rider: Reiwa The First Generation.
