The Anti Mimic Bomb (アンチミミック弾, Anchi Mimikku Dan), shorten as AMB, is a warhead developed by the secret anti-Worm organization "ZECT" that fires an ingredient that nullifies the mimicry abilities of Worms and Natives.
Overview[]
The Anti Mimic Bomb contains three glass test tubes filled with blue liquid, after inserting the test tubes into the shell, a bazooka is used to fire this warhead into the air, dispersing an ingredient that removes the ability to mimic. Worms that absorb this ingredient will no longer be able to maintain their mimicry.
History[]
Although the finished product only has three shots, it produced great results from the first use. However, the plan to shoot the second shot and wipe out the Worms in area C3 is aware by Reiji Nogi, and ends up being ambushed. Nogi, who had taken many hostages including Syuichi Tadokoro, demands a third Anti Mimic Bomb as a condition for releasing the hostages. In this situation, Arata Kagami and his friends came up with a plan and pretended to hand over Anti Mimic Bomb in an attache case at the trading place, wrapped Renge Takatori's wire around the handle and retrieved them, successfully outwitting the Worms.
The final Anti Mimic Bomb was used to identify worms that blend in with people seeking help when escaping from a trading place.
