Icon-geatsThis article is about a rider in Kamen Rider Geats.

Ace of Heart (心の英寿, Kokoro no Ēsu) is the main protagonist of Kamen Rider Geats: 4 Aces and the Black Fox. He is one of the four iterations of Ace Ukiyo (浮世 英寿, Ukiyo Ēsu) created by Mela who transforms into Kamen Rider Geats (仮面ライダーギーツ, Kamen Raidā Gītsu).

History[]

When Mela split the world into 4 as part of the World Destruction Game, Keiwa Sakurai ended up in a playground, finding the Ace of Heart playing an ocarina. However, it was initially unknown what aspect of the original Ace he represented. The two were eventually attacked by the Jyamato after the worlds were recombined, and despite his physical weakness when he attempted to fight back, the two of them were able to escape to the DGP lobby. He was the only one of the four Aces left standing, as Mela had used the powers of the Aces of Power, Wisdom and Luck to create the XGeats Buckle, and considered him not worth using as part of his plans.

To prevent him from fighting against Mela, given his lack of combat prowess, he was tied up by Tsumuri, however, Ittetsu Tanba freed him, recognizing that he still held the same moral strength, even if he couldn't fight nearly as well as the original Ace. He made his way to where Tycoon Bujin Sword and Buffa were fighting XGeats, and attempted to fight him, but was quickly knocked out of transformation. Despite the overwhelming odds, he refused to give up, and Keiwa realised that this version of Ace, despite lacking his strength, wisdom or even his luck, represented something different: his heart, and his determination to keep fighting, no matter what.

When XGeats used his finisher and the Jyamato World Tree to destroy the world, his friends, realizing what he represented, protected him, and their wishes, along with their memories of the inspirational things he had told them before, caused the Geats Core ID to evolve into the Geats Oneness Core ID. He was later found alive by Tsumuri, albeit the last remaining Rider standing, who told him that it was his friends' wishes that had saved him, and not to give up yet on their hopes, giving him the Oneness Raise Buckle, and a Ride Chemy Card, that Ittetsu had received from Houtaro Ichinose earlier.

Eventually, Ace confronted Mela and Melo with his new powers, declaring that the strength of one person cannot be measured through just their physical strength, their smarts, or their luck; but by their heart, and all the people who stand by them. Ace eventually gained the upper hand as Geats Oneness, but XGeats was turned into a giant form by Melo, and he was seemingly defeated. However, his resolve allowed his friends to appear at the last minute, launching him into XGeats and sending him flying out his ship, before Ace sent him back into the Tree, and finally finished him off.

Personality[]

Ace is split into four distinct clones when the Earth was divided. Each clone is based on an aspect of his personality, with this particular one representing his determination to fight. His refusal to give up despite the difference in power between him and XGeats made Keiwa and his other friends conclude that, despite him not having the strength to fight his enemies, the brains to fool his foes, or even the luck to attract victory, the Ace of Heart is definitely their Ace. Heart is the one who obtains the power of Geats Oneness to defeat Mela.

Powers and Abilities[]

Abilities[]

  • Indomitable Will: Ace of Heart possesses the original Ace's willpower that kept him from giving up even when all odds were against him. This ultimately led to him to obtaining Geats Oneness, allowing him to defeat Mela.

Former Weaknesses[]

  • Poor Combat Efficiency: Initially, Ace of Heart is shown to be extremely weak, unable to hold off the Pawn Jyamato untransformed, something which the original Ace could. However, after achieving Geats Oneness, he is able to fight in par with, and eventually triumph against XGeats.

Magnum Form adds the following parts:

  • Magnum Geats Head (マグナムギーツヘッド, Magunamu Gītsu Heddo): The head. Each function is expanded by the Magnum Buckle.
    • Red Geats Eye (レッドギーツアイ, Reddo Gītsu Ai): The compound eyes. By superimposing visual information as overlay images, they visualize the point of impact, predicted trajectory, etc. They also have an auto-aim function.

  • Gunslinger Arm (ガンスリンガーアーム, Gansuringā Āmu): The arm expansion equipment. It is specialized for close combat maneuvers using the Armored Gun (アーマードガン, Āmādo Gan), a fixed pistol on the forearm. Ability Parameters

Houtaro Ichinose had given Ittetsu Tanba a blank Chemy Card that remained intact even after Mela and Melo had destroyed the world. Through Ace of Heart's indomitable will, it resonated with his heart along with the hopes and desires of his friends, allowing him to access Geats Oneness and defeat Mela, restoring Ace's powers.

This form's finisher is the Oneness Victory (ワンネスビクトリー, Wannesu Bikutorī), in which Geats Oneness summons seven insignias consisting of Geats, Tycoon, Na-Go, Buffa, Punkjack, Keilow, and Lopo in the said order and delivers a powerful kick imbued with rainbow-colored energy. One delivered, Geats Oneness finishes it off with a roundhouse kick with the same rainbow-colored energy that inflicts sufficient damage to destroy the enemy.

This form is exclusive to Kamen Rider Geats: 4 Aces and the Black Fox.
