History
Background
- Main article: Ace (Geats)
Ace Ukiyo with his parents in 2008.
Ace was born to his mother Mitsume and an unnamed male Deza Shin of the Desire Grand Prix, with the latter passing on his Julius Caesar prize coin to Ace. His mother had disappeared at some point during his childhood after asking him to forget about her, which would haunt Ace for the rest of his life. In search of her, Ace reincarnated through multiple lifetimes as a participant of the Desire Grand Prix, each having a desire to empower one another in a future battle should they resolve the protect the world.
Around 20 AD, one of Ace's previous incarnates fought against Licht Kugimiya but did not take his life as he felt it wasn't worth doing so.
Life as Ace Ukiyo
At some point after Ace passed away, he reincarnated as "Ace Ukiyo" in 21st century Japan to his parents Issei and Mika Ukiyo. Ace had also attended Minami Shiraita Elementary until 2008. He also had a pet dog named Constantine. One day, he picked up the coin given to him by his original father, restoring his memories of his past lives.
Ace transforms into Geats for the first time.
In high school, Ace was approached by Tsumuri with an offer to join the Desire Grand Prix, which he accepted and transformed into Kamen Rider Geats for the first time. Retaining the memories of his past lives, he eventually won the Desire Grand Prix, which granted him a comfortable life as well as the right to continue competing indefinitely. However, Constantine unfortunately die from a car accident during this period. Con's passing traumatized Ace greatly, to the point that Ace didn't keep another pet again and acts cold towards animals.
At some point, he witnessed the death of fellow participant Toru Imai, a friend of Michinaga Azuma who would later join and develop a rivalry with Ace. Ace also encountered Daichi Isuzu and Sae Ganaha in a previous tournament, though Ace had emerged victorious in said game. In the chance he'd lose his memories, he wrote hidden messages around him to ultimately lead him back in the game.
Ace had also encountered Kirito Asari at some point and witnessed his elimination.
Kamen Rider Revice: Battle Familia

Ace later arrived at Area 666 to help Genta and Yukimi Igarashi rescue Azuma's hostages. He proceeded to destroy the True Gifftarians and Giff Juniors with his Magnum and MagnumBoost Forms, before introducing himself to Azuma and leaving.
Kamen Rider Revice

A month later, Ace was directed to a Mission Box just outside of Happy Spa, which was in the hands of Ikki Igarashi. Confiscating the box from Ikki, Ace remarked that the item inside, namely the Revice Driver Raise Buckle, was his "loot". As Ace promised that they will meet again someday, he walked off and transformed into his BoostRevice Form offscreen.[Family to the End, Until the Day We Meet Again]
Daybreak/Encounter Arc
Ace transforms into Kamen Rider Geats.
For the last six months, Ace had continued to prevail victorious in his games, often resorting to the Boost Buckle as his "trump card." During a final round, Ace rescued and reassured both Keiwa Sakurai and Neon Kurama that he would save the world by transforming into Kamen Rider Geats and destroying the Slug Fortress Jyamato, the final boss of that round. Ace was once again, crowned Deza Shin, which reset the world.

In the new world, Ace chose to become a famous celebrity in order to test the committee's ability of granting wishes. As he entered the next tournament, he reunited with Keiwa, Neon, and long-time rival Michinaga who never forgot Toru's death. In the Treasure Hunting mission, Ace used his fox motif to his advantage by tricking Keiwa into handing over the Boost Buckle on the pretext he was going to help unfortunate children. Despite this, Ace ultimately opted to anonymously fund the surgery for Takahito Taira's ailing son.
Geats assuming Zombie Form against the Zombie Jyamato.
Ace's rivalry with Michinaga had become much more apparent as they entered the Zombie Survival round, where they both trade buckles due to Michinaga losing a bet. Ace then saved Neon from Kanato Sumida upon deducing that the latter became a zombie, but hid that fact from the other players. Although Neon was bit and temporarily lost her will to fight, Ace and Keiwa helped encourage her to keep on going, leading their cooperation in eliminating Kanato from the competition. Later, Neon was Ace's primary parter in the Concentration Game, where they discerned the crucial key in defeating the Trump Jyamato.

In the final round against the Saboten Knight Jyamato, Ace warned the other players of the Jyamato's history of never having been defeated, which brought a sense of dread and despair for the other players. This however, was part of Ace's plan to take advantage of the courage shown by Keiwa, allowing Ace to obtain the secret Ninja Buckle and boot Keiwa from the tournament. This similarly had also occurred with Michinaga as well, allowing Ace to obtain the Monster Buckle and secure the last attack. After defending his title once again, Ace wished to have Girori and Tsumuri be his family in order to get closer to them and find out the DGP's secrets.
Conspiracy Arc
Ace assuming Raising Form
In Ace's new world, he opened up to Neon about finding his mother while announcing his plans to discover the darkest secrets of the Desire Grand Prix and its management. During the Labyrinth game, Keiwa was an unexpected civilian without any of his memories due to his previous elimination, though his re-entry was reluctantly granted by the Game Master thanks to Ace's persuasion. While conversing with Neon, Ace learned that the DGP had sponsors and that Neon's father, Kousei Kurama was one of them. As Ace grew closer to achieving his goal, he found himself continuously sabotaged by Win Hareruya, who was doing so under orders from the Game Master, who was growing tired of Ace's consecutive victories.

Ace assuming Command Form Cannon Mode
Ace had realized that the Game Master was finally onto his intent to dig deeper into the DGP, and was intentionally placed at a disadvantage during the Musical Chairs game. However, he was unknowingly supported by the game's producer Niramu, who granted Ace access to the Command Twin Buckle, an item that was not yet in the game's circulation. Left without a Driver, Ace used his Rider-less status to grow closer to Win, the latter revealing that he only got a staff job due to his grandfather being a sponsor. He also told Ace that Mitsume was in fact a DGP navigator and Tsumuri's predecessor, though he didn't specify which era. Learning that Girori was also the Game Master, Ace convinced Win start fighting for himself and the teamed up against an angered Girori, who transformed into Kamen Rider Glare. However, Ace is eliminated from the game following Win's hijacking into a GM Rider.
Ace assuming Command Form Jet Mode
With no memories of his in-game life, Ace returned to a normal life where he once again participated in his celebrity activities. However he found notes around his room that ultimately compelled him to return to the battlefield. As he arrived, he held Michinaga and touched the Buffa Core ID, restoring his memories as Geats. Ace returned to the DGP saloon and confronted Girori with his intent to defeat the last boss. Due to a past wish, Ace will always be allowed to enter the DGP so long as he was alive. Thus, Ace was given a new Desire Driver and proceeded to destroy the final boss. However his returning participation had greatly angered Girori to the point he denied Ace's victory, instead announcing an intermission round where both Keiwa and Neon must kill him for the title of Deza Shin.
Kamen Rider Geats × Revice: Movie Battle Royale
Due to Colus's machinations, the Desire Grand Prix has been transformed into the Desire Royale. Ace and the others take part in their first game: To transport a tiny monster to the finish line previously chosen by the Game Master. On the way, Ace's team is attacked by Ikki Igarashi and his siblings, who wish to take back the tiny monster. After a battle, Geats and Revice are able to communicate, and the two agree to cooperate and finish the game first. Joined by Vice, Ace and Ikki manage to reach the goal just in time, only to have the tiny monster stolen from them by Colus. Then, they bear witness to the first transformation of Kamen Rider Seeker, a participant personally picked by Colus to further his own schemes. Seeker absorbs the tiny monster into his own body, with Geats, Revi and Vice being unable to retrieve it from the new Kamen Rider.
Wanting to find out what is going on, Ace finds Giori, who has been imprisoned by Colus earlier, and asks him to tell everyone the truth. When Girori briefs the Riders on the situation, Ace notices how Ikki does not wish to forget about Vice all over again. He gives the two Desire Drivers to stall for time until Vice eventually disappears.
The final round of the Desire Royale is a free-for-all fight among the remaining combatants: Geats, Revi, Vice, Ryuga, Knight, Ouja, and Seeker. During their struggle, elsewhere, Girori manages to snatch back the Vision Driver from Colus, thereby changing the game back to the old Desire Grand Prix. The new victory condition of the round is: To stop Kamen Rider Seeker. Geats and Revi leave the battlefield to complete the mission, while the other Riders keep on fighting one another.
After a long battle, Geats, Revi and Vice are able to defeat Seeker and retire him from the game. Tsumuri proclaims that Ace and Ikki are the joint winners of the DGP. As Ikki does not have a wish beyond the happiness of his family, Ace takes the initiative and writes his own on the Desire Card: A world where Ikki never forgets the memory of his battles. Ikki himself does not know this, though, since Ace dodges the question upon being asked.
Fox Hunting
During the Fox Hunt, Tsumuri helps Ace, who asks her about Mitsume, the mother of his first life.
During the interim round, he was initially chased by the GM Riders before encountering Neon, who asked him if they really had to fight. He asked her back if she wanted to, until a still brainwashed Win attacked him, as his helmet blew up in an attempt to take the two down together. However, Ace was able to push him off at the last moment, surviving the blast, with Win being presumed dead in the explosion. He was later visited by Tsumuri, who gave him food and plasters, with him rhetorically questioning if she should be helping him, but thanking her nonetheless. When Tsumuri asked him why he wished for her and Girori to become his family, he stated that he was looking for purpose in his life, and an answer to the question of why he was born, and so, he was searching for his mother, who knew the answers. He then asked her if she knew of his mother, and she said that she did, but she couldn't tell him any information.
Ace is impressed by the grand scale of Keiwa and Neon's plan to expose Girori.
Eventually, Keiwa mustered his resolve and fought Ace, with Ace having the edge while Girori desperately joins in as Glare to kill Ace. After Keiwa and Neon's plan to expose Girori for his corruption unfolded, followed by Niramu's appearance who terminated Girori on the spot, Ace became impressed by the two's plan that had even him tricked. Niramu revealed that because the Game Master was no longer "available", the current game would be canceled with no Deza Shin crowned, but provided the three assurance they will be guaranteed entry into the next game. Returning to the Desire Temple, the three learn of the DGP's true nature; it was in fact a "rider reality show" watched by a live audience where them saving the world is entertainment.
Divergence Arc
Meeting up with Michinaga, Ace learns of the true nature of the Jyamato, allowing him to take Keiwa's side.
As a new Desire Grand Prix began, Ace re-entered the game with Keiwa and Neon, alongside two of his past associates, Daichi and Sae. Chirami, the new Game Master replacing Girori, tells the Riders that they were to now dorm together as the new DGP was also to document their private lives. He also revealed that one of their competitors, the DezaStar, was a saboteur who would win by default should they become one of the final two competitors in the game. Ace later met his supporter Ziin for the first time, who was thrilled at the amount of entertainment Ace was bringing him. Although Ace attempted to keep his distance, Ziin revealed that he had done research into Ace's past, and that the audience of the DGP were supposedly travelers from other dimensions. Ace then re-encountered Michinaga, who was using Jyamato-based powers as a revived yet broken Buffa. Ace questioned Michinaga, who revealed that the Jyamato were actually cultivated using broken ID Cores, which supported Keiwa's previous claims and resulted in Daichi's elimination.

Putting two-and-two together, Ace discovers that the supporters were from the far future.
However after the Timebomb game's conclusion, no Jyamato had appeared, which prompted Chirami to become Kamen Rider Glare2 himself and "fight" the Riders on the audience's behalf. Privately, Ziin revealed to Ace that Buffa now has a new supporter, the Jyamato sponsor Beroba, and believes that the recent lack of Jyamato was was related to a sinister plot that she has planned. After Beroba is successful in stealing Chirami's Vision Driver, Ace began pushing Chirami and Niramu for answers regarding the Goddess of Genesis and how the Jyamato came to be, but backed out the moment his memories were threatened to be erased by Niramu. Tasked with retrieving the stolen Vision Driver, Ace teamed up with Ziin near the Jyamato Garden but became engaged in a one-on-one duel against Buffa. During the duel, he overheard Ziin and Beroba reveal that they were in-fact time travelers from the future, who confirm this as fact as they revealed they saw the current era as entertainment.
Lamentation Arc

To gain the upper hand against Buffa and the Knight Jyamato, Ace transforms into Boost Form MarkII.
Although Beroba destroyed the garden, Ace and the others were able to escape with minor injuries. Ace sat with Ziin in his supporter room where they watched the Special Episode. However Beroba hijacked the show and announced the reformatted version of the Desire Grand Prix, Jyamato Grand Prix, where they were deemed the enemies while Michinaga, and other Jyamato including Toru Imai were the "players".
As a result of Boost MarkII, it brings heavy fatigue to Ace and also puts him in danger.
During the Lightning Jyamato Festival, the Jyamato attacked a mundane festival which left both Keiwa and Neon injured trying to defend it. For the sake of Shota, a young boy whom Ace met at the festival, Ace confronted both Michiaga and Toru with the combined power of his past incarnations and evolved into Boost Form MarkII, allowing him to singlehandedly stop the Jyamato from securing a victory. However, using the form left him heavily fatigued to the high-speeds it grants. In the midst, he was confronted by Ziin, who had discovered Ace's ability of reincarnation and entertainingly wished to see it through. Insisting that his life was not for "entertainment", Ace's continued stubbornness ultimately resulted in him being put in grave danger.

Ace later realized that his stubbornness resulted in Ziin being put in danger for his sake. As a form of retribution, Ace explained to Ziin that he was unaware of why he was reincarnating, and wished to find Mitsume for the answers he has been seeking for two thousand years. His story moved Ziin to tears, with the latter being unable to comprehend as effectively due to the timeline where he was from. Ultimately, Ace confides in Ziin and tells him that they both weren't so different from each other after all.
To overcome his fatigue, Ace transforms into LaserBoost.
Later, as the Sengoku game re-commenced, Ace, already transformed as Geats Powered Builder form personally confronted Beroba, the latter transformed into Glare2. Being forced to use Boost MarkII to fight back, the form expired quicker and the fatigue set in much earlier than expected. Fortunately, Ziin, who was nearby, was able to fend Beroba off briefly and integrate his Laser Raise Riser to Ace's Desire Driver. This act fully recharged Ace as he assumed his new form, LaserBoost Form, effectively defeating both Jyamato Riders and Glare2 without breaking a sweat. As Ace moved in to reclaim the stolen Vision Driver, Michinaga swooped in and saved her before retreating. With the game win, Ziin decided to return to the future to live out his life and formally relinquished his Laser Raise Riser to Ace, who acknowledged Ziin as his supporter and asked him to visit once in a while.
Ace learns of Akari Kurama and her importance to Kousei despite Neon's birthday.
As Michinaga kickstarted the Bullfighting Game, Ace noticed that Neon was not herself even though it was her birthday, where she admitted that even though it was supposed to be her happy day, it was also the day she was kidnapped as a child. Using a news video archive, Ace found the place where Neon was kidnapped 11 years ago and encounters her father, Kousei, who laid a bouquet of flowers on the floor of the very building they're in. Ace is informed of what truly happened that day, that Neon was actually an artificial replacement for Kousei's deceased daughter, Akari Kurama, a fact not even Neon knows.
Ace confronts Kyuun.
After Ace took Neon's place at the Bullfighting Game knowing it was a trap, Beroba interrupted Ace's fight against the Dunkleosteus Jyamato and revealed the Akari secret to the entire public. Filled with rage and anger, Ace mercilessly destroys the Jyamato in front of him. Sometime after the battle, Ace angrily confronts Kyuun, who had done practically nothing since Neon's secret was unveiled to the public, and suggests he go back to the future if he does not intend to support her. As Ace is forced to watch Neon fight a losing battle during the Bullfighting Game, he smiled the moment he saw Kyuun come to her rescue.
Ace learns the truth about his mother and the Goddess of Genesis.
After the Bullfighting Game's conclusion, Ace is confronted by Michinaga who took this chance to take Geats down himself. As they fought while Beroba interrupted the fight, Ace is informed that the Goddess of Genesis was actually his mother Mitsume the entire time, who sought power and robbed others of their dreams in order for her to be able to live a happy and normal life herself, and Ace was a byproduct of that.
Ace begins battle with Buffa to reclaim the Vision Driver.
Losing his will to fight, Ace is visited once again by Ziin, who returned from the future and helped him regain his spirit. Ziin informed Ace that Ace's coin was the one of the original prizes awarded to past DezaShins before the Goddess came along. If Ace wanted answers, he needed to talk to his mother, and doing so would require a Vision Driver. With Ziin's encouragement, Ace talked to Niramu, who despite not allowing Ace to borrow his Vision Driver, allowed Ace to see the Goddess on the condition he retrieve the stolen one in Buffa's possession. Ace goes to fight Michinaga and uses his skills to outwit Buffa and retake the Vision Driver.

Ace cries upon learning of the cruel fate his mother was subjected to.
Ace uses the Driver and gains access to the Goddess' temple. He tearfully asked his mother for answers, but the Goddess kept silent. As Niramu arrived asking for the Driver back, Ace realized that her mother's turning into the Goddess was made against her will, and angrily attacks Niramu. Niramu as Gazer is able to counter most of Boost MarkII and LaserBoost attacks, but before Ace could deal the finishing blow, both Ace and Niramu are attacked by Buffa who feeds the two into the Goddess. Suel later came into possession of Geats' ID Core following his elimination.
Yearning Arc
Having revived, Ace sets his sights on destroying the DGP for his mother's sake.
With the Desire Royale now underway, Buffa's onslaught on the remaining Riders, including Ziin and Chirami, forced Tsumuri to pray for Geat's return as she tightly held his ID Core in her hands. In a miraculous moment, Ace is instantly revived by unknown means and quickly turns against Chirami, announcing his intent to destroy the Desire Grand Prix as they exploited his mother for their own malicious goals. Suel then arrived following Chirami's defeat by Buffa, and invited both Ace and Michinaga into his revived Desire Royale.
Despite saving Neon and Keiwa who want the DGP to stay for their own reasons, Ace swears to clear his mother's name.
Later, Ace talked to Tsumuri, who sadly admitted that she has lost sight of the Desire Grand Prix's true purposes. After encouraging her to smile in light of the deceit, Ace revealed that his newest wish for the Desire Royale was to ensure his mother's happiness. As the Desire Royale kickstarted, Ace later rescued Neon, Keiwa, and Sara from Buffa, revealing he still viewed them as friends due to the bond they had created over time. Although Keiwa wanted Mitsume to pay for all the happiness she had stolen from the people, Ace swore to clear her name.
In the light of his anguish for his mother, Ace transforms into Boost MarkIII.
As such, Ace began to cooperate with Michinaga and living astray with him, who shared his views that the Desire Grand Prix had to be taken down due to their corrupt state. Michinaga, in turn, stated that Ace would be the last Kamen Rider he targets. Together in their cooperation, they defeated Archimedel and eliminated Daichi Isuzu from the game. Soon enough however, Ace learned of the Grand End from Suel and fought Niramu in an attempt to stop it. Although he was defeated, the sight of the Goddess of Genesis crumbling enabled Ace to awaken his innate Boost MarkIII powers, which rampaged and caused Ace to be unable to reach his mother.

To defeat Suel and stop the Grand End, Ace transforms into his final form, GeatsIX.
Falling unconscious, Ace met his inner self who asked him what he wanted truly. Responding that he wanted the power to destroy and then recreate, the inner Ace laughed yet granted him such. Waking up, Ace teleports into the Goddess of Genesis where he ultimately met with his mother. After they apologize to one another, they quickly realized that the Grand End had been triggered, which would erase everything. After being instilled with his mother's love one last time before Mitsume crumbled to her death, Ace confronted Suel at the Grand End's completion and transformed into GeatsIX. With his new powers of destruction and rebirth, Geats overwhelmed and defeated Suel before resetting the world using his own powers.
Genesis Arc
In this new world, Ace became the sole administrator of his new Desire Grand Prix, while keeping Tsumuri around as a navigator and recruiting Win as his helper. However with the threat of the Jyamato still imminent and his powers having limitations, Ace elected to have all former players regain their memories and desires, allowing them an opportunity to return to the Desire Grand Prix if they desired it. With Keiwa and Michinaga having returned to the fold, Sara's recent disappearance prompted Ace to help Keiwa find her by confronting Daichi, who was the last person so have seen her. However he played coy and ultimately did not reveal that he was the one who turned Sara into a Jyamato until she had been lost.
In light of Sara's disappearance, Ace continued to fight to protect the city while encountering an increasing amount of victims who shared the same fate as Sara. Learning about the emergence of Zitt, a new Game Master sent by Suel, Ace confronted him but was outmatched. After learning of Keiwa's recent turn in the dark side, he enlisted the help of Daichi to rescue Tsumuri, who Keiwa had kidnapped for the sake of his wish to restore the lives of all the Riders and victims that were lost, including former criminals and gangsters. This had brought back Kazuo Numabukuro, a criminal who kidnapped Neon 11 years ago and had kidnapped her again today. Approached by Kousei Kurama, Ace granted him the power of Kamen Rider Gya-Go and the Fantasy buckle, which Kousei passed down to Neon along with his parental love for her, restoring Neon's Na-Go powers.
Ace continued to believe that a lost soul like Keiwa could be brought back and accepted a challenge from Zitt to fight Keiwa, though Ace eventually threw the match as he felt fighting would resolve nothing. After Tsumuri managed to escape Zitt, she convinces Keiwa that Ace truly wants worldwide peace and happiness, allowing Ace to full revert the world back to how it was before Keiwa's wish was granted. However, doing so resulted in Ace being confined by the Shackles of Genesis and slowly petrifying, a side-effect of his divinity. Having regained Keiwa back into their fold, Ace was approached by Zitt, who attempted to stop Ace from using his powers and fully petrify him. However, after witnessing Keiwa defeat Kekera with his own self-will, it encouraged Ace to do the same as he broke out of his shackles and fought Zitt who transformed into Kamen Rider Regad. After defeating Zitt, who was a fabrication of Suel, Suel restarted the Grand End and commenced the final Desire Grand.
With The End Riders scattered throughout the city and the Game Masters appearing to ensure they do not stop, Ace enlisted the help of Girori, who had learned of what Ace had been up to. He used his authority to get Ace inside the Game Masters' temple, allowing him to confront Suel. Though Suel temporarily had his power source severed, he turned the tides by removing Ace's powers and having Tsumuri kill him. However, this was all part of Ace's plan as only his physical body was destroyed, allowing him to become a God. He interrupted Suel's rampage on Keiwa, Neon, and Michinaga after their powers were removed, prompting Ace to restore them using his new powers. After the three got their attacks in, Geats IX finished it off by destroying Suel's avatar from the inside, allowing him to erase the Desire Grand Prix and all of its management from existence, restoring the civilians back to normal and bringing forth a new world where wishes and happiness were no longer rationed, and could be achieved by anyone as long as they work hard for it.
Ace's shrine as periodically maintained by Tsumuri
As a result of the new world, Ace erased all memories of him from the populace, except for Tsumuri and Ziin who maintained a small shrine of him with a petrified Boost MarkIX Buckle as a monument. Occasionally, Ace came down to Earth and reminded the people that their wishes will come true so long as they wish for them, including one Houtaro Ichinose.

Sometime after ascending to Godhood, Ace returned to Earth following the appearance of Melo and Mela, who kickstarted the World Destruction Game. However as Ace attempted to destroy the Jyamato Yggdrasil, his soul was separated into four: Ace of Power, Ace of Wisdom, Ace of Luck, and Ace of Heart. Ace of Heart had obtained Geats Oneness in the face of insurmountable odds and defeated Mela, restoring Ace's powers and allowing him to repair the world.

Ace is a confident and mysterious man who keeps his true self unclear. As the reigning and undefeated champion of the Desire Grand Prix, he aims to exploit their world-changing abilities to their limits for an unknown goal, which is later revealed that he wants to find his long-lost mother Mitsume. Though many of his winning wishes have seemed frivolous, they all are ultimately a means of finding her, like his wish to be famous being done so that his mother can notice his presence. He also does not hide his interest in women and is known for his stylish attire and frequent references to historical facts and sayings, likely from accumulated knowledge of his past incarnations.

True to his fox motif, Ace is willing to lie in order to elicit sympathy from others. While he exudes confidence when dealing with his fellow players, he doesn't necessarily view them as enemies, but rather as a means to an end that he justifies fulfilling his goals. Ace considers some of his DGP competitors not only as rivals but also as friends, like Keiwa and Neon. He's even willing to manipulate others to do his bidding, but despite said questionable actions, Ace is kind and selfless at heart, shown as he helps to fulfill the wishes of those who cannot achieve them, such as covering Takahito Taira's medical expenses to save his son and letting Ikki Igarashi keep his memories of Vice. Additionally, Ace is never seen deceiving children, and even goes as far as to protect and bond with them. Ace's lies even extends to casual conversations, like depicting his good deeds as just a necessary action to achieve his desire, but it's not the case, as the Jyamato Grand Prix shows, of which his friends are able to see past this lie.
Despite his calm and level-headed mindset, Ace's temperament can be pushed to its limits, as seen when his fellow competitors were unfairly eliminated from the competition by Girori, when Beroba revealed Neon's true origins to the public, and when confronting the management for their abuse of his mother's status as the Goddess of Genesis, which unraveled the optimistic portrayal of himself. As a result, Ace lost his composure which affected his combat style, while he considered a path of vengeance and destruction against the admins and the world that got him reprimanded by his inner self. His otherwise calm approach allowed him to face the cruelty of the world with a clear head once he attained his God powers, allowing him to return Keiwa to the light by insisting he hate the sin instead of the sinner.
After reuniting with her, and realizing that his reincarnations is due to his own Genesis powers inherited from her, Ace honored her memory as GeatsIX by becoming the sole administrator of a new Desire Grand Prix, where he aims to bring happiness to everyone in the world with the powers she inherited to him, completely ignoring the immoral practices done by the corrupt staff. Through the game, and his own genesis powers, he strives to create a world where everyone can achieve happiness without having to sacrifice the happiness of others in the process, something which he promised his mother Mitsume moments before her death, to the point of selflessly using his powers to revert the world back from the chaotic state it was in due to Keiwa's wish despite it causing petrification symptoms.

In 4 Aces and the Black Fox, Ace is split into four distinct clones when the Earth was divided. Each clone is based on an aspect of his personality; namely Ace of Power (力の英寿, Chikara no Ēsu), who represents his strength, Ace of Wisdom (知の英寿, Chie no Ēsu), who represents his intelligence, Ace of Luck (運の英寿, Un no Ēsu), who represents his luck, and Ace of Heart (心の英寿, Kokoro no Ēsu), who represents his determination to fight. Among which, the Aces of Power, Wisdom, and Luck are captured by Mela to create the XGeats Buckle, whereas the final Ace, Ace of Heart, is the one to obtain the power of Geats Oneness.

Powers
- God of Genesis Physiology: As Mitsume's son, Ace inherited most if not all of his mother's abilities. He was initially unaware of them until his mother's death served as the catalyst for its awakening. His powers were once strengthened after absorbing the powers of Tsumuri. After giving up his mortal body, he becomes a complete God of Genesis.
- Nigh-Omniscience: After Ace obtains Tsumuri's powers, he is able to see into events that he is not present for, such as Michinaga choosing to fight Beroba and Keiwa saving Sara from the tree, or hearing the voices of his friends from far away. After fully becoming a God, Ace knows and is aware of everything, so that he can grant wishes to every single person in the world.
- Nigh-Omnipotence: After fully becoming a God, Ace is immensely powerful, possessing near unfathomable and omnipotent levels of power.
- Reality Warping: Ace is capable of warping the very fabric of reality, which is often indicated by the sound of a ringing bell.
- World Reset: Ace is capable of granting wishes and resetting the world to however he want.
- Memory Manipulation: By resetting worlds, Ace can restore or remove the memories of players from anyone he wishes regarding their involvement in the DGP, JGP, and DR, without needing their Rider Core ID to do so. Ace has stated that he has allowed all former (retired) players to retain their memories in case he ever needs their assistance and knowledge.
- Matter Manipulation: Ace can manipulate matter on a molecular level without direct contact, which allows him to create/destroy physical objects and restore collateral damage, like repairing entire destroyed buildings or encasing his opponents within mirror-like crystals. He can also create objects from thin air, ranging from Raise Buckles, Desire Drivers, and ID Cores. Notable examples include the Boost MarkIII/IX and Fantasy Buckles, as well as a personal Rider Core ID for Kousei Kurama to use himself, which was later converted into a new Na-Go Core ID for Neon.
- Awareness and Resistance: Ace is not affected by other people using the same ability and can hear the ringing bell.
- Existence Erasure: Ace erased the Desire Grand Prix and all of its management from existence.
- Reincarnation: According to Mitsume, Ace's own unwillingness to let go of his memories of her unconsciously activated his powers of reality warping, causing him to reincarnate into a new individual upon each death while retaining all of the memories from his previous lives. This has allowed his consciousness to remain intact for over 2,000 years.
- Teleportation: Ace can teleport himself inside the Goddess of Genesis housing Mitsume's soul without the usage of a Vision Driver.
- Power Absorption: Ace can absorbs the same reality warp power from other Gods of Genesis, i.e. Tsumuri, as long as they share the same wish, while this has also enhance his own powers.
- Power Bestowal and Power Removal: After fully becoming a God, Ace is able to grant Keiwa, Neon, and Michinaga their Rider powers after they were erased by Regad Omega, as well as enhance them to the point that they can fight evenly against Regad Omega in their base form, as well as take their power away after killing Suel. In the Final Stage, Ace granted himself the ability to control time, allowing him to stop time in his fight against Kamen Rider Jyamato Gazer.
- Temporal Immunity: Ace is not affected by temporal changes in the timeline, as well as Suel's temporal reversion ability.

- Master Marksman: Ace is an extremely skilled marksman, with unerring accuracy in wielding firearms. Ace has achieved extremely high scores in the Desire Grand Prix, which is most likely a result of his long-term usage of the Magnum Buckle, which has high synergy with his ID Core. His marksman abilities and accuracy are further increased through his gaining of God of Genesis powers and the more powerful Geats Buster QB9.
- Genius-Level Intellect: Ace is sharp-witted and methodical, and was capable of finding his way back into the Desire Grand Prix after his memories were temporarily erased following his initial retirement. He is also able to easily deduce mysterious hidden secrets about other people with only limited amount of information.
- Master Tactician: Ace is capable of quickly devising creative strategies against opponents and can improvise in-battle at a quick speed. True to his fox motif, Ace can manipulate people to do his bidding and trick Keiwa into giving him Buckles on numerous occasions. He even planned his death in advance in order to fully become a God.
- Vast Historical Knowledge: Due to being over 2,000 years old, Ace has a vast repertoire of historical knowledge, most likely having present during each of the events in which he brings up.
- Talented Artist: Ace was able to perfectly draw PunkJack's helmet on a blackboard in seconds, secretly impressing Michinaga Azuma.
- Indomitable Will: Ace's strong will not only let him remain his memory intact through his multiple reincarnations for 2000 years, while also let him resist the convertion process into a complete God of Genesis statue through his willpower alone without the aid of others. This trait alone was what also allowed Ace of Heart to obtain Geats Oneness and defeat Mela during the events of Kamen Rider Geats: 4 Aces and the Black Fox.
Former Weaknesses
- Boost MarkII Buckle: Although powerful, using the Boost MarkII Buckle on its own will cause Ace to have massive fatigue, resulting in him falling unconscious more often, while the side effects become worse due to frequent usage. According to Ziin, this may be due to the tremendous speeds the form grants. However, Ace can negate the drawback via utilizing Ziin's Laser Raise Riser to access LaserBoost Form. After Ace's reality powers awakens, it seems Ace no longer suffer the side effects even when he access Boost Form MarkII.
- Complete Isolation: As revealed by one of the rules of the DGP Ace's powers grows more powerful whenever he makes new allies. This was exploited by Zitt when he alongside Kekera and Beroba manipulates Keiwa into replacing Michinaga as their new enforcer by preying on his resentment towards Ace, Mitsume and Tsumuri as well as masterminding Sara's death, to the point that he was willing to manipulate Neon to come to his side and turning Tsumuri to a Goddess out of pure spite against the Fox Kamen Rider.
- Limited World Recreation Capabilities: While Ace can reshape reality at will, the more ambitious the changes are can be demanding on him. His power isn't fueled by Gira Gira but by sustenance and sleep. However, an equally intense wish resonating with Ace's will can offset this. Excessive world-alterations could petrify and transform him into a statue similar to his mother. Ace would lose this weakness upon fully turning into a god, but at the cost of his humanity.
- Time Reversal: Suel reveals Ace's choice to retain free will could render him mortal, making him susceptible to Regad Omega's ability to rewind time which overrides his reality-warping abilities, allowing Suel to revert Ace to the point that he was physically powerless, leaving him vulnerable to Tsumuri with the Magnum Shooter 40X. However, after Ace choose to give up his mortal body to become a complete God of Genesis, transcending time itself, it renders the Zillion Driver's power ineffective to him.

Due to the Boost MarkII Buckle being made up of five separate Boost Buckles, Boost Form MarkII is far more powerful than even the Command Forms, and his speed is also increased to match, though this form is still surpassed by Kamen Rider Gazer. He also has the ability to manipulate fire to a limited extent and extend the claws on his fist. However, this form is significantly demanding on Geats' stamina, and will cause him to faint after, and even worst, during transformation.

In addition to significantly increased speed and power, the usage of the Laser Raise Riser allows Geats to employ the Boost MarkII Buckle without experiencing substantial fatigue. Furthermore, the Design Ability of the Laser Raise Riser enables Geats to use far more fantastical abilities than a standard Raise Buckle. Like Ziin, Geats can manipulate matter and energy vectors in any direction, and can even utilize it to keep enemies immobile in the air. Its performance is more powerful than Geats’ previous forms. As such, this form is powerful to create three dark-red fox tails from his back, and can also create small black holes to absorb and destroy any projectiles sent towards him. It can also fly by applying the energy from its tail on its back. However, since Ace was unable to fully understand his genesis abilities, he was not able to keep up with the form at its full potential.

Legend Kyubi
GeatsIX (ギーツIX, Gītsu Nain) is Geats' final form accessed by separating the Boost MarkIII Buckle into the two Boost MarkIX Buckles, inserting both into the right and left-hand slots of the Desire Driver, and then performing a Revolve On. A small support robot named Legend Kyubi (レジェンドキュービ, Rejendo Kyūbi, lit. "Legend Nine Tail") will surround Geats and transform into the armor, completing the transformation process.
In this form, GeatsIX is armed with the Geats Buster QB9 and the powers of a God of Genesis, which allows him to alter reality as he pleases. With the highest specs than any other Geats Rider, GeatsIX can move at super-speeds, generating bursts of blue flame, travelling faster than other Geats Riders can visibly track as well as react faster than and respond to similarly moving, high-speed objects, as seen in combat against Kamen Rider Suel Gazer and his Dominion Ray drones.[32]
When GeatIX activates his God of Genesis powers, the Geats Tail Nine cape energizes become streams of energy. In this state, they can changing their size and dimension as needed and function as extensions of GeatIX's body, adhering to the Rider's commands and allowing him to interact with other objects and individuals beyond his body.[33] The Geats Tail Nine are also the medium for his reality-altering powers, achieving feats such as instantaneous restoration of environmental damage such as craters and broken windows to objects as large as office buildings. GeatIX has even contained a high-yield explosion using them to create a miniature black hole.[34] However, for alterations of greater magnitude, GeatsIX requires the additional Gira Gira of others as even his has its limitations (objects of higher complexity, such as destroyed Rider Core IDs, are also beyond his influence) and Ace has even commented on becoming incredibly hungry after repeated use, indicating the need for adequate sustenance to use them. However, after becoming a complete God of Genesis, GeatsIX no longer has any of these limitations or weaknesses listed above.

Family
Father and Mother (Current life)
- Mitsume: Ace's mother from his first life and the former Desire Grand Prix navigator. Ace fights in the Desire Grand Prix many times in order to find her whereabouts. When Ace later learns that Mitsume is the Goddess of Genesis, he started to fight in order to regain his mother's freedom and happiness, and prove to his friends that she's innocent. When he eventually reunites with her, he can barely contain himself, with Mitsume revealing that his desire to see her again was so strong that his powers manifested into giving him various lifetimes until he was able to see her again. As Mitsume feels bad for what her son has going through due to her words, and the misery the DGP has caused with her powers, he seeks to use his powers to create a world where everyone can be happy, while mourning about her demise and how their reunion is cut short.
- Unnamed father: Ace's father from his first life and a previous Deza Shin.
- Issei and Mika Ukiyo: Ace's parents in his current life according to Ziin's research. Due to unknown reasons, Mika also named her son "Ace" as all of his incarnations' mothers.

Friends
- Keiwa Sakurai/Kamen Rider Tycoon: Ace first encounters Keiwa during the previous Desire Grand Prix, and the two later become fellow competitors in the current DGP. In contrast to Keiwa's naive idealism, Ace has a more grounded and realistic outlook on life, and indirectly challenges Keiwa's shaky outlook and lack of resolve by taking advantage of the latter's kindness and then tricking him firsthand so that Ace can achieve his own objectives in the matches. Keiwa was put into retirement after using the Ninja Buckle to save his sister and he later gives it to Ace in his honor. After winning, Keiwa's life was rebooted with his new life, forgetting the Desire Grand Prix and Ace. Keiwa then shows up again as a victim in a labyrinth round, where Keiwa protects him. Due to the old man's weak state, Keiwa, inspired by a young boy finds his resolve to protect, and helps Keiwa recover his memories in order to become Tycoon again, taking Ittetsu's place, competing in the DGP again. However, their friendship would falter at the end of the Jyamato Grand Prix, where the two would discover Ace's mother Mitsume was the Goddess of Genesis whose power robs people's happiness. While Keiwa wanted to punish Mitsume for all the lives lost and force her to reverse them, Ace wanted to free her by taking down the DGP, and prove her innocent. Nevertheless, Ace does not consider Keiwa or any of the other players as enemies. After Ace knows about Sara's apparent demise, he goes shopping with Tsumuri to hide her from the admins, while retaining his faith to Keiwa when he takes her away from Zitt. His faith is misplaced when Keiwa manages to kidnap Tsumuri and plans to turn her into the next Goddess of Genesis, Ace is against the goal he's planning. Although Keiwa remains unfazed, even claiming that this act is partially to atone for Mitsume's past sins, which enrages Ace as their friendship continues to remain strained. After Keiwa gets his wish, Ace decides to stop him and save him from himself no matter what. Ace and Keiwa later battles once more as Geats IX and Tycoon Bujin Sword respectively, although Ace didn't intend to fight Keiwa seriously thus led to his defeat. Keiwa then begs for Ace to prove his power as God of Genesis, which Ace ultimately did after Tsumuri relinquished her power to him, asking Tycoon to believe that there's indeed a world where all could be happy as he reset the world once more. Their friendship then started to be restored after Keiwa sees that becoming as the new God of Genesis comes with a price. Due to his death, Ace returns fully as a god restoring Keiwa's Rider powers along with Neon & Michinaga's in the final battle against Suel.
- Neon Kurama/Kamen Rider Na-Go: Like Keiwa, Ace first encounters Neon during the previous Desire Grand Prix, and the two later become fellow competitors in the current DGP. In the current world where Ace is a superstar, he knows of Neon's activities as a live streamer. After learning of Neon's current situation, and seeing her fall into despair after being zombified, Ace gives her some firm but kind words of encouragement, motivating her to pick herself back up and finish the second round of the game, while also reaffirming her own resolve in life. After winning, Neon's life was rebooted and forgot her memories of Ace from before, until returning once again in the DGP. Ace helps Neon remember her past desire as they continue to compete with each other and fight together in the following games. However, Ace and Neon started to have conflicts when Neon was discovered shown to be the Dezastar, while rushing to finish the sabotage mission by shirking all suspicion on Ace. Though they reconcile due to the game being on pause, their relationship finally ends once Ace realized the truth of his mother being the Goddess of Genesis, with the two now joining the Desire Royale for different reasons. While Neon hopes DGP to continue to exist, Ace hopes for the DGP to end so he can free his mother. Nevertheless, Ace still does not consider Neon as an enemy. After the Grand End is successfully postponed, Ace rekindles his friendship with Neon, and manages to protect her since she currently cannot become Na-Go. Though with the wishes of her parents helping him, he is able to change the Gya-Go Core ID into the Na-Go ID core, enabling Neon to become Na-Go once more. Ace returns fully as a god restoring Neon's Rider powers along with Keiwa & Michinaga's in the final battle against Suel.
- Michinaga Azuma/Kamen Rider Buffa: The two first met when Michinaga's friend Toru was in the Desire Grand Prix, where he was beaten up by two DGP riders and left for dead by a horde of Pawn Jyamato. Michinaga, who was not participating at the time, witnessed Toru's death and was saved by Ace. While his savior told him to forget the Desire Grand Prix, Michinaga instead resolved to defeat all Kamen Riders due to the incident, including Ace. When Michinaga joined the games, he would always come out in second place in almost all the games. While Michinaga is hostile towards Ace and vows to best him, the latter remains unfazed by his words. Even though Ace still gives him helpful advice on numerous occasions, Michinaga often disregarded the aid, as Michinaga views his advice as looking down on him. Despite their rivalry towards one another, the two are willing to team up in the Desire Royale, as both of them now share the same goal of taking down the Desire Grand Prix. Michinaga's trust to Ace grew as he now fully supported Ace's goals to make a world where everyone can be happy. Ace returns fully as a god restoring Michinaga's Rider powers along with Keiwa & Neon's in the final battle against Suel.
- Tsumuri: Tsumuri questions Ace's motive to test the Desire Grand Prix's limit, but nevertheless helps navigate the undefeated champion. She detests being his "sister", when using his new wish. During the Fox Hunt game, Tsumuri helps Geats recover and learns of his true goal in the DGP and mentioning his mother's name to her. Despite Ace’s change of motive and started to treat the DGP management as enemies, he still willing to call Tsumuri as his sister and even tells that having a smile on her face is more suitable for her as the navigator. After Grand End successfully postponed, Ace asked Tsumuri what is her real wish, in which Tsumuri replies that she wants to stay with Ace until the very end. Ace is shown to worry about Tsumuri after she get kidnapped by Keiwa after Sara's untimely demise, and ultimately decide to face Keiwa. Tsumuri gets devastated after shooting Ace, while under the influence of her dark self. But Ace knew his fate would happen on his path of becoming the true God of Genesis. After the end of Suel's tyranny, Ziin offered Tsumuri to be navigator of a new DGP, which she happily accepted in honoring Ace's memory.
- Sara Sakurai/Kamen Rider Hakubi: Ace meets Keiwa's sister for the first time when he and Neon were having lunch together. Sara gets excited in meeting him for the first time until learning of the Desire Grand Prix. When Sara is recruited into the Yearning Arc's Desire Royale, Ace protects her along with Keiwa and Neon from Michinaga, remarking that the four of them bonded over some soba before. He later gives her and Neon the same warning as he once gave Keiwa - to be careful which players she trusts, after Daichi sets up their elimination.
- Win Hareruya/Kamen Rider PunkJack: Ace first witnesses his actual personality during the briefing for the new Desire Grand Prix where Win was shown performing a guitar solo while also proclaiming his affections towards Tsumuri. When paired with him for the Pirate Game and witnessing his transformation into PunkJack, he questions if he's the same person from the previous Desire Grand Prix. The two would later ally with each other after Win turns against Girori, who would turn Win into a mindless slave and human bomb to use against Ace. After his revival in Desire Royale, Win quickly becomes Ace ally once more, even calling him as Brother. Currently Win acts as Ace personal intel searcher after Zitt appeared.
- (Kamen Rider) Ziin: Ace would first meet Ziin after the first round of the Divergence DGP, as he wished the former luck in finding out who he was, and discovering why he exists, much to Ace's annoyance. Their relationship would continue to be relatively one sided for a while, with Ace saying Ziin was 'someone to keep an eye on' after it was revealed that the audience members are from other dimensions, and that he had done research on his seeming family history, which turns off Ace from him as he only views his lives as something to amuse him. Later when Ziin gets nearly killed by Beroba, he acknowledges about how scary death is, making him stop viewing lives as entertainment, while also being inspired by how strong Ace is to keep going through multiple deaths, and they would begin to get on better. The two would help each other more such as Ziin giving him his Laser Raise Riser to help him defeat Beroba and reclaiming the Vision Driver from Niramu.

- John & Ben: Neon's bodyguards who Ace ends up meeting and are huge fans of his.
- (Kamen Rider) Kyuun: Ace angrily confronts Kyuun after he had done practically nothing since Neon's secret was unveiled by Beroba to the public, and suggests he go back to the future if he does not intend to support her, making him realize the importance of supporting Neon's wishes.
- Kousei Kurama/Kamen Rider Gya-Go: Though they don't communicate that much, Kousei ask Ace about Neon trusting his words of seeking for a world where everyone can be happy, which Ace that he told her that. Saying that Ace words are true, then someone like him has the rights to be happy. Ace ask what happiness means to him, by having Kousei joining his DGP. With his fulfill promise to make a ideal world for Neon, Ace gives him a Desire Driver, Fantasy Raise Buckle and Gya-Go ID Core to transform into Kamen Rider Gya-Go and save his daughter.
- Girori/Kamen Rider Glare: The Game Master who acts as the "concierge" to the riders (and later Ace's "father" in a modified reality), fears of Geats being a threat to the DGP and wants him eliminated for good. Eventually he returns in the final battle, seeing Ace's actions were truly righteous & just against the DGP.
Enemies
- Suel/Kamen Rider Suel Gazer/Kamen Rider Regad Omega: The supreme leader of DGP who turned Ace's mother into the Goddess of Genesis. As such, Ace sees him as his arch-enemy, and is determined to destroy him once and for all and avenge his mother's death.
- Zitt/Kamen Rider Regad: Zitt was sent from the future by Suel with his goal to stop Ace. Zitt later gets absorbed by Suel after his failure.

- (Kamen Rider/Premium) Beroba/Kamen Rider Glare2 (II): One of the DGP supporters who becomes an enemy, forming the Jyamato Grand Prix, Ace does dislike her due to manipulative personality and how she handles Jyamato Grand Prix as it's Game Master, using her authority and dirty tactics that almost took his life, Ace considered her as a threat, his hatred towards her later was fueled after exposing Neon's true identity to the audience. Ace ended up helping Neon in defeating Beroba by converting Gya-Go ID core into Na-Go ID core, thus allowing her to transform again as Kamen Rider.
- Niramu/Kamen Rider Gazer: Both Ace and Niramu seems to be interested in each other. Since Niramu is surprised that there is someone that has a great power in this era, Ace also seems to know much earlier that the people from DGP is not from this timeline, which even makes Niramu surprised. Both also seems to accept that they are mysterious individuals. Everything started to change when Niramu discovers Ace's true identity after obtaining the Boost MarkII Buckle from the Goddess of Genesis, stating Ace is a man that should not exist. Despite this, Niramu is still shown to be capable of cooperating with Ace, as seen in the Sengoku Game, after revealing him about his mother being the goddess and used as their tool, he later considers Niramu and the other administrators as his enemies.

- Daichi Isuzu/Kamen Rider Nadge-Sparrow: The two have met each other before in DGP as rivals, while they met again in Divergence Arc. Despite being rivals, the two has shown good cooperation in the first round to clear the game with no elimination of players. However, in the second round, Daichi's action of raising suspicion of others towards Keiwa as Dezastar has become his downfall, causing others to vote him out of the game. Daichi was later invitied by Beroba as advisor for Jyamato's side, becoming Ace's enemy. In Desire Royale, despite Daichi no longer an ally of Jyamato, Ace still cannot trust Daichi when Daichi shows his plan to hurt Neon and Sara to cause them suffer, attacking him instead when Daichi seek for alliance. However, in the new world after Grand End successfully postponed, Daichi turns into Jyamato and bring upon Parasite Game that ends up killing Sara and put Keiwa into path of Vengeance. Although Ace cannot forgive Daichi for this, he ended up saving him from Tycoon Bujin Sword since only Daichi knows the method to return the victims of Parasite Game.

- Ikki Igarashi/Kamen Rider Revi: Ace met Ikki at the entrance of Happy Spa, where a box containing the Revice Driver Raise Buckle was lying on Ikki's bike. Ace later left after taking the Buckle, but not before he told Ikki he would see him again. [Episode 50: Family to the End, Until the Day We Meet Again] The two later meet again in the Desire Royale.
- (Kamen Rider) Vice: While Ace and Vice don't have any real relationship other than he knew Vice is Ikki's inner demon, Ace still respected Vice and would even help him on his disappearing problem, and would indirectly become one of Ace's motivations for his wish to make Ikki remember Vice, even after he disappeared.[Kamen Rider Geats × Revice: Movie Battle Royale]

Portrayal
- Ace Ukiyo is portrayed by Hideyoshi Kan (簡 秀吉, Kan Hideyoshi). As a child, Ace is portrayed by Yuya Ando (安東 勇弥, Andō Yūya).
- As Kamen Rider Geats, his suit actor is Yuji Nakata (中田 裕士, Nakata Yūji), who also serves as Kan's stunt double in select scenes. Nakata was recommended into the role by Satoshi Fujita[39], making this his first full-time Primary Rider role. Nakata would later go on to be the suit actor for Valvarad after being suit acted by Yasuhiko Imai. In which scenes where both Geats and Valvarad were required to be on-screen at the same time in Kamen Rider The Winter Movie: Gotchard & Geats Strongest Chemy★Great Gotcha Operation, Geats was suit-acted by Kotaro Kaji (鍜治洸太朗, Kaji Kōtarō), who would later go on to be the suit actor for Kamen Rider Dooms Geats.

Etymology
- His kanji name "英寿" (commonly read as "Hidetoshi"), translates to "prosperity" and is pronounced the same way as the English word "Ace", which is defined as a person who excels at a particular activity. This corresponds to his status as the undefeated winner of the Desire Grand Prix as well as his confident personality.
- Ace's family name roughly translates to "fleeting/floating world", befitting his carefree attitude. It is also homonymous to "憂き世" ("sorrowful world" in Japanese), the plane of of death and rebirth in Buddhism, alluding to him being reincarnated. His full name in Eastern order is a play on the associated Ukiyo-e (浮世絵 lit. "Floating World Picture") art style.
- Geats' name is derived from the Japanese word for "fox" (狐, kitsune, キツネ in katakana), specifically its voiced consonant gitsune (ギツネ), which is his primary Rider motif. The name of his final form, GeatsIX (lit. Geats Nine), is a play on the full word, and plays into its traditional nine-tailed fox theme.
