The Transformation Belt A.I.M.S. Shotriser (変身ベルト エイムズショットライザー, Henshin Beruto Eimuzu Shottoraizā), or simply as Shotriser, is the transformation device and personal weapon of Kamen Rider Vulcan and Kamen Rider Valkyrie. It was produced for A.I.M.S. by ZAIA Enterprise. A silver variant without the transformation function is mass-produced for use by the regular soldiers of A.I.M.S.
Mass-produced Shotrisers
Overview[]
By developing the Rise Base Actor (ライズベースアクター, Raizu Bēsu Akutā) that strengthens the human body and adding the abilities of living organisms from the data of Progrisekeys, it creates equipment that can be used in various situations. The main unit can be separated from the holster base and used as a short gun. As part of the transformation system, a special A.I. chip is implanted in the brains of the users.
Design[]
The A.I.M.S. Shotriser is composed of the following parts:
- Rise Slot (ライズスロット, Raizu Surotto): A slot intended to insert Progrisekeys into. Once the Progrisekey is inserted into the internal Rise Port (ライズポート, Raizu Pōto) within the Rise Slot, the A.I.M.S. Shotriser will begin learning the inserted Key's abilities.
- Authoriser (オーソライザー, Ōsoraizā): An authentication device built into the A.I.M.S. Shotriser. It authenticates Progrisekeys. If there is no abnormalities when transforming, the Authoriser will issue a temporary unlock code to unlock the Progrisekey and allow authentication, and thus transformation. The Authoriser can read a Progrisekey's status even without contact. However, this process cannot be performed if restrictions are placed on the Progrisekey.
- Move Dister (ムーブディスター, Mūbu Disutā): A small grey button located on top of the A.I.MS. Shotriser. It is used to disconnect Progrisekeys. When pushed, the Progrise key's connection is released, allowing one to remove it.
- Rise Loader (ライズローダー, Raizu Rōdā): A device used to read Progrisekeys. It reads the inserted Key's Rider Model (the Key's graphic of an animal skeleton), sends data to the Rider's bodysuit (to allow form changes and one to turn into different Kamen Riders) and then sends the enhanced data into the Fact Grip.
- Fact Grip (ファクトグリップ, Fakuto Gurippu): The grip. Inside it is a high-speed molding machine that molds various equipment based on data sent from the Rise Loader. It quickly created the armor and bodysuit from sent data and encapsulates it within a special SR Danger (SRダンガー, SR Dangā) compression capsule. When not used during transformation operations, the Fact Grip generates special 50 Calibur Anti-Humagear AP bullets (50口径対ヒューマギア徹甲弾, 50 kōkei tai hyūmagia tekkōdan) and sends it to the Shotrise Muzzle. Additionally, the Fact Grip acts as a relay that sends information and combat data to the user.
- Shotrise Trigger (ショットライズトリガー, Shotto Raizu Torigā): The trigger. 'Shotrise' operations, bullet firing and deathblow firing operations are performed by pulling it.
- Multiple Sight (マルティプルサイト, Marutipuru Saito): The A.I.M.S. Shotriser's targeting sight. Located underneath the Shotrise Muzzle. When the Riser is used as a transformation item, the Multiple Sight supports the user's transformation through the use of many sensors including optical sensors. After transformation, it sends all information and combat data acquired into the user's suit via the Fact Grip.
- Shotrise Muzzle (ショットライズマズル, Shotto Raizu Mazuru): The muzzle. It is coated with a Photon S Coat (フォトンSコート, Foton S Kōto) photon coating, which reduces friction when something is shot out to obtain high velocity and long range. Recoil is cancelled by releasing itself backwards simultaneously to the shot. Since this mechanism functions regardless of the length of the gun's barrel, it is possible to adopt it to a short-type gun weapon with good portability and handling (the A.I.M.S Shotriser itself).
- Z-CON Band (Z－CONバンド, Z-Kon Bando): The belt strap. It is a flexible coupling band that wraps around the user's waist, and is separate from the A.I.M.S Shotriser. It is made of the soft and highly flexible Z-Flex Metal (Zフレックスメタル, Z Furekkusu Metaru), and its durability is raised by applying a special tough resistance laminate.
- Holster Base (ホルスターベース, Horusutā Bēsu): The fixture and backup device. It navigates the fast and precise attachment of various equipment by indicating the target coordinates of the SR Danger ejected by the Shotrise. A safety device is built inside, which instantly disconnects the connection if the Vulcan Signal and Valkyrie Signal causes serious damage to the system or if it is determined that the wearer's life is seriously affected.
Functionality[]
Transformation[]
The user first activates a Progrisekey before inserting inside the Shotriser's key slot. With the A.I. Chip installed into their brains, it will act as the key's authorization method, allowing the the Shotriser to read the key. The user then pulls the trigger to send a specialized bullet that contains the Rider's bodysuit and armor. Transformation into a Kamen Rider is completed after the bullet comes into contact with the user.
When transforming with a Zetsumerise Key, the transformation will only be temporary and ultimately destroy the weapon itself.
Finisher[]

To activate a finisher, the user pushes the Rise Starter on the inserted Progrisekey before pulling the trigger. Depending on if the Shotriser is being used as a gun or a belt, it has a different finisher.

Isamu took the Shotriser from an A.I.M.S. vehicle without Yua Yaiba's authorization during Fukkinhoukai Taro's as the Berotha Magia rampage in order to destroy the Trilobite Magia. Later, he gained the Z-CON Band during Okureru's rampage as the Kuehne Magia and used it to transform into Kamen Rider Vulcan. This Shotriser was eventually destroyed after Fuwa used the Japanese Wolf Zetsumerisekey to transform into Orthros Vulcan to stop Aruto Hiden, but was eventually replaced.
The Shotriser was destroyed again by Kamen Rider MetsubouJinrai, and was unable to be repaired due to the destruction of ZAIA Enterprise Japan. | |

Behind the Scenes[]
The A.I.M.S. Shotriser is voiced by both Maynard Plant and Blaise Plant, brothers who are both members of the band Monkey Majik.
Notes[]
- The A.I.M.S. Shotriser is the first Kamen Rider transformation belt since the Mage's Belt from Kamen Rider Wizard to not use the word "Driver" in its name.
- Isamu transforms with the Shotriser in its Gun Mode, whereas Yua transforms with it in its Belt Mode.
- An odd quirk concerning the users is their transformation into their main form consists of white armor, but only the right side of the form is covered with armor based on the Progrisekey's animal. The exception is when an alternate form is used, as that transformation causes the animal-themed armor to usually cover the upper body, instead.
- The only constant is the user's face does not change in either type of transformation, a unique element that was rarely used in the Heisei Era, but never had this element have the face remain completely unaltered for form changes.
- Unlike the Hiden Zero-One Driver and MetsubouJinrai Forceriser, transformation with the Shotriser does not involve a projection of the inserted Progrisekey's Rider Model.
- The exception is the Assault Wolf Progrisekey, which creates a projection of the Shooting Wolf Rider Model.
- This also extends to the Rampage Gatling Progrisekey and the Japanese Wolf Zetsumerisekey which summons the Rider Models of its individual components.
- Also, unlike the MetsubouJinrai Forceriser, the Shotriser's finisher standby isn't in the device but in the Progrisekeys, hence any Progrisekey affiliated with the ZAIA Slashriser (Burning Falcon) and the Abaddoriser plays a different finisher standby.
- Uniquely enough, despite using the "Blast" voice line, the Triceratops Zetsumerisekey features a unique standby loop of its own.
- The exception is the Assault Wolf Progrisekey, which creates a projection of the Shooting Wolf Rider Model.
- The ZAIA Slashriser is essentially the dagger variant of this, which is actually retooled from the Shotriser. This is because the Slashriser and Shotriser are both creations of ZAIA Enterprise.
